πŸ‘° In Love With A Muslim Lady Chapter TWO:

1 Month later I travel to Ghana, while in Ghana I learnt that Aisha’s father will marry her off to one mallam as a 4th wife…. I can’t accept that… Am quitting this school to go save my love, else I’ll run mad or die cos of the blood covenant ….

Despite the fact I tried to avoid coming back to Nigeria to see Aisha but I couldn’t cos of the blood covenant we shared..
I know the consequences if anyone breaks it….

Few weeks later, I travelled back to Nigeria… I risked my education cos I didn’t care… To me my love with Aisha the Muslim girl is what matters (things we do for love)

On my arrival I discovered that there was a terrorist attack at the neighbouring village which rendered many homeless, widows and many got displaced…

Jesus christ, my son what are u doing here, u didn’t tell me that you’re coming back.. What about school? (my mum asked when I came in to the house)

Please mum I just arrived, it’s a long distance, let me just test first we’ll talk about it… I replied…

Are u high on cheap drugs? U just resumed university at Ghana and is barely 1month you’ve come back with no explanation… Like are u serious right now? … Ehhh majesty!! (my mum countered me)

Mum am not a small boy anymore, I heard that Aisha will be married off to that old mallam who’s enough to grandfather her, so am coming back to save my love mum.. (I said with confidence)

Ewooo, I knew it… That Aisha has bewitch you.. that u can’t even stay without her, do you know how much ur father and I have paid just for your trip and school in Ghana? Plus ur accommodation, ur tuition and allowances? (my mum shouted)

Mum, to me Aisha is important than school.. With her my life is at stake… do u even have any idea what will happen to me if I stop my relationship with with Aisha?
You don’t just know (my mum cuts in)

What will happen? Nothing will happen.. Tomorrow morning am taking you to the prophet’s house.. He’ll undo those spells that Aisha has done to you… And do you even know that your staying here is risky? ….. Haven’t u heard of what those people are doing at the neighboring village? All those attacks and terrorising the whole area… Please you’ll go back to Ghana as soon as possible…

Mum, pls don’t bring those religious sentiment now…. Those bandit and terrorist doesn’t belong to any religion… I also heard that mosque were attacked and people were kidnap as well… The earlier you start respecting others religion the better for u and Nigeria as well ( I stood up and left my mum)

The next day was Aisha’s traditional marriage…. Everything were on set at Aisha’s compound, many cows were bought and foods of different kind were cooked, people of different caliber also arrived… Oh it was a big feast for Aisha….

I must attend that marriage, I need to take Aisha and run out from there, Aisha is mine and no old man can take her away from me… Never.( I said to myself with full confidence as I started dressing like the hausas)

Majesty why are you dressing like that? Where are you going to? (my mum asked)

Mum am going to Aisha’s traditional marriage, I need to take her and run away… I replied my mum.

And I hope you’re not running with her to this house, ehhh?
Majesty my son do you know that you’re on a suicide mission that you’re risking ur life? (my mum asked)

Mum, and if I don’t go there to take Aisha out from that old man….. Am also risking my life… I mean that man has 3 wives already… Can’t he be contented? Why must he chook eyes on Aisha my design future? ( I said this and left my mum….. Off I go to the traditional marriage)

Something happened at the traditional marriage

Her mother has been her best and favourite even while her father was alive, her mum makes life so simple and lovely.
“Daddy why??” she sobbed holding her pillow.

She knew as a child that her mother is dependent and reliant on her father, so his death and the circumstances of his death almost killed her mother, if not for God…
She held a knock on the entrance door and went to answer the door
She jostled as she saw the person at the door. She was shocked as she saw her Economics teacher at the door.
“Good Afternoon Ma” she greeted knowing that she is in deep trouble.
“Good Afternoon Kosi! How is your mum? Is she in?” Miss Jo asked.
“Come in Josephine, Se daada ni?” Mrs. Enitan asked as she ushered Jo in coming into the sitting room.
