    She had initially kicked against the plan, urging him to forget about returning to his base, since he already came home with so much money.

Clara was surprised to hear that from her mom because she blended so well with Mike that she was beginning to feel Mike had won her mother’s heart.

    Her mom further asked her to break her relationship with Mike and concentrate on praying to God for her own man but Clara was unable to break up with him as she was already in love with him. This action of hers caused a strain on the relationship between mother and daughter.
