“Party tonightttt…” Eva danced, showing a white canvas shoes.
I rolled my eyes..

Now, we finally got home, only to see Iyke’s car packed outside.

“Im getting the keys from him!” I said.

I stopped the car beside his and we got down.

“Im going to press the doorbell.” She said and walked away to the gate.

“Vale, please don’t do this to me. Not after all we shared. I love you Vale. Im so sorry, Just give me another chance and I promise not to hurt you in any way. I was stupid. I was a fool to hurt you. Please Vale, give me another chance. Don’t leave me.. Im begging you.” He said, in tears.
I didn’t care.
Everything Lizzy said rang in my head.

“And im begging you for another chance Vale, Im deeply regretting everything. Please Valerie. Don’t do this to me. I love –” I cut him short.

I arched my eyebrows “So?”
He stood up.
“Give her the keys.. It’s her car. You are wasting our time here!” Eva barked at him.
He looked straight into my eyes, “Valerie, Are you really breaking up with me? Are you seriously asking me to hand this key back to you?”
“Be fast about it.” I said.

He brought out the key from his pocket and I was quick in snatching it out of his hand.
I dashed to the car, got in…. Threw out everything that belong to him..and drove into the house.
Eva drove in my own car.
We left him there standing like a wasted and confused idiot that he is.

“Gosh! im so happy you kicked him on his ass. Such an Idiot!” Eva spat as we got down.
Eva and I carried everything we bought for Joy’s birthday inside with him following behind.

Few Minutes Later…

“Happy birthday Joy… Im sorry it was supposed to be Yesterday.” I said as I handed him everything I got for him.
After checking them one after the other, he dropped them but he held Stella.
Eva placed the cut cake on the table,
With two bottles of wine and three wine glasses.
And seven bottles of alchol.
Crazy Eva! who’s gonna drink all this?
Joy smiled sweetly and stepped closer to me.

Eva just stared at us, smiling.

My heart did some stupid beating.
My head did some crazy spinning..

The next thing, I felt his soft lips on my forehead.
I gasped and looked at Eva.
She smiled widely and began clapping.

I shot her a glare.
Now, Joy still has his lips on my forehead.

He then withdraw and smiled shly at me, as he held tight to his Stella.
I swallowed hard.

“Won’t I get my own share of the long peck?” Eva laughed as she turned on a music, ending the tension that filled everywhere.
“And the cake…Im taking the biggest.” She said and carried the biggest..

“Joy are you gonna dance with him!” She said and went over to him and pulled him to a dance.
“It’s your birthday. Come on. I love parties.” She laughed.

I sat down and watched them as they danced.
I carried Stella as I drank from the glass of wine.

He’s dancing so weird making my rib hurt with too much laughter.

Joy was laughing and swearing even though the AC was on.
Then he stopped and faced me.

I don’t know why I took two bottles of the alcohol and almost a bottle of the wine.

Maybe cos I was kinda jealous watching Eva make Joy really happy.
Making him laugh so much and dance happily.
Why was I even jealous?

I could see he was quite tipsy too… just like I am getting.
“Come..” I said and he did and sat beside me.

Just then, the crazy music stopped but seconds later it began playing, ‘Shape of You by ED sheeran’
“Much better.” I said.
“Happy birthday. How old are you now?” I asked him.

“Umm.. your head’s gonna fall off. Stop shaking it.” I advised.
He nodded.
I rolled my eyes.
“I love this song playing.. Let’s dance.” I said as I got up and pulled him up.

She pulled me up.
She turned her back and put my hands on her waist.

I know Aunty Valerie is tipsy. She can’t do this if she isn’t.
She laughed and began dancing..

“Joy, are you dancing?” She asked without turning to check.
Uh..
I nodded sharply..
“Do I dance better than her?” She asked.

Do she mean her friend?

She bent and and her bom-bom is touching me..
Uh…. Why’s she dancing like this?
“Ohhh Joy you aint dancing.” She said.

She hissed and turned to me.
I stared at her.

“Did you enjoy your birthday?” She asked.
I nodded.
“Who did you enjoy it most with?” She asked, staring into my eyes.

I put put my head on her back and started petting her to sleep.

Im trying to hold her around so she could walk to her room without falling.. but she shook her head.
“Carry me.” She said in a sleepy voice.

I nodded and did.
I carried her up…
“Ohhhhpp” She smiled as I did.
I carried her to her room and her friend is sleeping at the left side.
I layed her on the spaced side and covered her with the duvet.
She already slept off….
I turned to leave but I want to kiss her.

I tiptoed back to her and gently kissed her on her lips..

Hmmm…. must be a dream cos im in the wonderland of drunken sleep.
