    Earlier last week, Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo shared to the public for the first time, the face of her firstborn child. Many took to social media to congratulate the singer, while others came up with an agenda that Gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey could be the father of the child due to the striking resemblance to the child.

    The story went viral on social media with some influencers making videos, requesting for Mercy Chinwo’s husband to carry out t a DNA test on the child. Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, however, does not seem pleased with this allegation and has now petitioned the inspector general of the Nigerian policy to carry out an investigation and bring his accusers to justice.

    In a video shared by a Twitter user, Nathaniel Bassey’s lawyers were seen explaining why they have decided to petition inspector Kayode Egbetokun. The petition was against four social media users by names; Okoronkwo Ejike, Kingsley Ibeh, Terrence Ekot, and Dj Spoiltkid

    Concerns raised about the decision to declare socialite Bobrisky the “Best Dressed Female” at the “Ajakaju” movie premiere have been addressed by Nollywood actress Eniola Ajao Ajakaju Movie Premiere.

    It was supposed to be a lighthearted movie promotion ploy, but Ajao clarified in a recent interview with Arise TV that it seems to have gone too far.

    The director claimed that getting people to talk about the film was the aim, and this was successfully achieved. But even though he wasn’t a judge, internet users took exception and called actor Femi Adebayo out when he gave Bobrisky the medal.

    It was all jokes. We just want to have fun. We want people to talk about the movie. My team and I decided that it needed to be in the faces of people. So we decided to give the Best Dressed Female award to Bobrisky since he has always been a very controversial person.

    At the end of the day, people started talking about it but some people are not happy. They started calling out Femi Adebayo who presented the award. He just presented it, it wasn’t his idea, he was not part of the judges. Nigerians shouldn’t slam him, please.”
