Aurelio and his crew could be seen standing beside their cars. The point of location was by the river side with tall trees around.

“This location is quite fishy” Flame said and Cisco nodded in approval.

Aurelio clicked on his bud

“Saint, are you stand by?” He said.

“Yes Boss, I’m ready for action” Saint replied

Aurelio disconnected and connected to Indigo

“Indigo, what’s their location?” Aurelio said

Three cars stopped before them and the men alighted it. Flame carried the bag and walked to them.

They searched her thoroughly before allowing her to go closer to their leader.

“Here’s the bag… Our goods are never fake, you can check it” Flame said and the gang’s leader gestured at one of his men who checked

“It’s legit boss” He said.

One of the men brought forth two bags and placed it down.

Flame opened the bag and her eyes widened.

“It’s fake money boss!!” She exclaimed and almost immediately they were surrounded by men who were armed you the teeth

Aurelio’s crew immediately brought out their guns, aiming it at the men

“You stand no chance against us… Our Godfather will be really happy to hear we succeeded in eliminating the legendary Aurelio” The leader laughed and almost immediately a bloody battle began.

Flame brought out a small knife she hid well before slashing the neck of the man that came at her.

She immediately grabbed the gun of the déad body and began shooting them down one after the other.

Aurelio hit behind the cars. He came out and swiftly shot down three men in few seconds without missing his target.

Saint who was well hidden behind the trees did his job by killing them one after the other in the dark.

“Duck!” Cheetah exclaimed, bringing out out her riffle. Cleopatra immediately bent and Cheetah began raining bullets on them

“Sh*t!” She hissed when one of the men shot her arm but that didn’t stop her.

“Damnit!” Aurelio cussed when his bullet finished. He threw away his gun and brought out two daggers from his pockets, launching at them as he slashed anybody who came his way.

Blood kept splashing from left to right.

He had no idea that his phone in the car kept vibrating non stop

••HOSPITAL••

“Boss… Please pick up!” Coralyn cried loudly as she called Aurelio for the uptenth time but still no one picked.

Earlier when she changed her underwear and also cleaned herself up, she came back only to see Amour laying in her own pool of blood

The blood was just too much. She rushed to Godfather but he forbade anybody from contacting the clan’s doctor saying that if Amour was to díe let her díe

Coralyn had no choice than to rush Amour to the nearest hospital with the help of Ruby

Coralyn hung up when Aurelio wasn’t picking she slumped down on the chair and buried her head in her palms as she wailed loudly.

Ruby glared at Coralyn from where she was sitting before she rolled her eyes angrily. If only she could do anything for Coralyn to be in Amour’s situation.

“It’s okay CoCo, let’s just pray for a miracle” Ruby said, rubbing Coralyn’s back.

The two cars drove in the clan and the group came out of the car with victorious smiles on there lips

“And we bagged another victory!” Cleopatra smiled

“I’m not sure there’s a clan that could rival us” Saint said.

“Damn, I’m loosing blood” Cheetah hissed. A piece of clothing was seen tied around her wound.

“Let me help you treat it” Cleopatra said and left with her.

Aurelio picked his phone in the car and his eyes widened when he saw 20+ missed calls from Coralyn

They actually exchanged number when he asked her to shop for Amour’s clothes and she’ll never call him unless it’s important.

He spotted a maid walking by.

“Summon Coralyn to my suite” He muttered and Viper looked at him.

“Umm, I’m sorry boss but Coralyn isn’t in the clan” The maid said.

“Why?” Viper asked.

“Earlier, Amour was found laying unconscious in her own pool of blood. Godfather forbade us from contacting the doctor so she had to rush her to the hospital” The maid said.

Aurelio felt like icy water was poured on his entire body when he heard that. It was like time slowed down for him.

“What!!” He exclaimed and immediately entered the car and drove out of the clan and at furious speed.

Viper immediately followed him in the second car. The other members stared shockingly at each other.

“Amour!” Rexton muttered and made to leave too but Cisco held him back

“Let Boss handle it” Cisco said but Rexton pushed him off and left too.

Aurelio ran in the hospital Coralyn told him there were in. He didn’t care that people were staring at him and his blood stained wears, all what filled his mind was Amour.

“Boss!” Coralyn immediately stood up from her seat when Aurelio arrived.

“Where’s Amour, where’s she!!” Aurelio demanded breathlessly.

Coralyn cleaned her tears that poured out even more

“She’s-”

Aurelio didn’t have the patience to wait for her to finish talking as he ran inside the ER. His heart fell when he saw Amour laying on the stretcher with several tubes connected to her body as the doctors worked on her.

The machine that was beeping slowly suddenly began beating crazily fast as Amour’s body began shaking vigorously. She was having a convulsion

“Amour!” Aurelio yelled and ran towards her but three doctors came in to hold him back.

“F**king let me go! Amour!!” He began struggling with them

“Sir, you need to leave.” The doctors dragged him out.

“Sir, calm down”

“Calm down!! You want me to calm down when the woman I love is in that state?” Aurelio yelled.

One of the doctor working on Amour came out.

“Are you her guardian?” The doctor asked.

“She’s my woman. What’s happening to her! Tell me why is she in that state!” Aurelio demanded, one could see he was literally panicking.

“Sir, we discovered poison in her system” The doctor said and Aurelio froze

“P-Poison?”

“Yes. We already flushed it out of her system but she lost too much blood so she’s in a critical condition. Unfortunately the foetus was destroyed… I’m sorry for your loss” The doctor said sincerely

“Foetus… What?” Aurelio breathed out with eyes.

“Didn’t you know? She was pregnant and based on it I think it was going to 2 weeks of pregnancy” The doctor said, feeling even more sorry for him.

Coralyn’s hands flew to her mouth in shock when she heard that.

Aurelio’s knees dropped to the floor. “Preg… Pregnant…” He stuttered.

He was going to become a father but it’s all gone now. Amour is in a critical condition and if she wakes up, how is he going to break the news to her. That she was pregnant but it’s gone now

Viper came in and immediately rushed to hug Coralyn.

“Lyn.. Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?” Viper cupped her cheek, checking her out

Ruby secretly glared at them from where she was standing.

Coralyn sniffed as more tears poured out of her eyes..

“Amour… She was poisoned and she lost her baby” Coralyn said and Viper’s eyes widened.

He looked at Aurelio who held a devastated look in his eyes.

He released Coralyn and went to Aurelio..

“Aurelio, I’m sorry” He said patting Aurelio’s back who was still kneeling down.

Rexton’s eyes remained wide from where he was standing. Amour was pregnant??
