Amour finished changing her wet clothes to one of the new clothes from Aurelio. It was a pair of hoodie with shorts, she looked really cozy and cute in it.

“Amour” Rexton called from behind and Amour immediately hastened her foot steps without turning back.

Rexton rushed towards her and grabbed her wrist.

“Amour, what’s wrong?” Rexton said, coming to her front

“Huh? Oh it’s almost noon so I was hurrying to make lunch for Master” Amour smiled awkwardly, avoiding his gazes

“Then why can’t you look at me in the eyes? You’re avoiding me right? Is it because of what happened last night, is it about the kiss?” Rexton asked and Amour bit her lips.

“Umm no, not at all.. Besides we both drank a lot so I’m sure you were drunk so the kiss was just accidental” Amour smiled.

“No, it wasn’t accidental… I wasn’t drunk” Rexton said seriously.

“Huh?” Amour breathed out.

Rexton took her hands in his before looking back in her eyes.

“Actually I’ve been meaning to tell you this for a long while but I couldn’t.. Amour I-”

“Please don’t say it” Amour said pleadingly

“Amour I love you” Rexton dropped the bombshell.

“I’ve done so, for a very long time” Rexton said

Amour looked at him and swallowed hard. What should she tell him now? She can’t tell him about Aurelio because it’s still secret.

“Rexton, I’m sorry but I can’t reciprocate your feelings” Amour said and made to remove her hand from his but Rexton held it tighter.

“Why? Why can’t you reciprocate my feelings?” Rexton asked.

“Rexton-”

“I promise I’ll be a better man, I’ll be any man you want me to be but please don’t reject me. I won’t be able to take it” Rexton pleaded.

“Rexton please stop” Amour said as a terrible migraine began sipping in

“Amour, I love you. I really do” Rexton said.

“Argh!” Amour groaned and went to her knees, holding her head tightly as some vivid images flashed through her mind

"I love you Amour and I'll go to any miles just to be with you. Why do you keep rejecting me?" 

A smirk curved up her painted lips.

"I don't do love... Feed that love to the dogs"

Amour opened her eyes and looked at Rexton who had a word is look on his face

“Amour, what’s wrong? Are you okay?” Rexton asked.

“Who are you? Have we met before?” Amour asked, staring at him with wide eyes.

Rexton’s heart skipped a beat as he stared at her with wide eyes.

Meanwhile, Cheetah discreetly slipped into Amour’s room. Few minutes she walked out and left quietly.

••COMPUTER LAB••

“This week has been strangely free. Don’t we have any mission in stock. I feel bored, need to hack something” Indigo said and Vitto chuckled

“How about we go to the theatre by 8 tonight, just you and me” Vitto winked

“Is that date? Do you want to ask me to be your girlfriend?” Indigo wiggled her brows playfully.

“What if I do?” Vitto said.

“Then I’ll reject you with a smile on my face” Indigo said.

“Hey! That’s cruel!” Vitto laughed and she chuckled.

“I’m hungry, let me go see what there is in the kitchen, will be back!” Indigo winked and stood up.

She walked to the door of the lab and just as she was about to open it, Scythe opened it from outside. They almost bumped into each other.

“Oh sorry, didn’t know you were coming” Indigo said and looked up only to see their faces were too close and her eyes was directly on his lips

She immediately took a step back.

“No worries, after you” Scythe smiled and made at for her.

She looked at his face one last time and smiled awkwardly before walking out. Her mind went to the kiss but she immediately shook it off

“Why are you suddenly think of that Indigo? Get a grip of yourself” Indigo slapped herself as she headed to the cafeteria

••AURELIO’S SUITE»8PM••

Cheetah smiled as she walked happily towards Aurelio’s suite. She opened the door and just like she expected, he was searching helter skelter

The whole area was in a mess and he looked uneasy.

“Aurelio, what’s wrong? You look uneasy” Cheetah asked innocently blinking her eyes.

Aurelio ran his hands through his hair, he could already feel his anger rising

“I can’t find my mother’s anklet” Aurelio said.

“What! Do you mean someone actually stole your most precious belonging?” Cheetah flared up angrily

“No, we can’t let it slide. I’m telling the guards to call the makes to line up right outside with their belongings, we’ll do a general checkup. Whoever the thief is we must catch them tonight” Cheetah said and marched out angrily

In few minutes time, all the maids in the clan were lining up outside of Aurelio’s suite while the guards searched their room

“What’s the meaning of all this? I’m feeling sleepy” Amour yawned. Her hair looked messy and she was in her pajamas.

She was sleeping peacefully when the guards suddenly barged in the maid’s headquarters and woke everyone with a megaphone

“Apparently someone stole Aurelio’s precious possession” Coralyn said sleepily.

“What! Jeez!” Amour muttered

It took almost 10 minutes for them to reach Amour’s turn. She walked in the room with her big bag.

Aurelio, Viper, Cheetah and Cleopatra were those present in the room.

Aurelio looked up and their gaze met.

“She can’t leave, it can’t be her” Aurelio immediately said

“What! This is partiality!” Cleopatra said

“It’s fine, you can check me though I doubt you see what you’re looking for” Amour said, handing her bag to Cheetah who took it and began searching her bag.

Something suddenly fell off the bag, rolling on the floor till it hit Aurelio’s shoe. Amour’s eyes widened when she saw what it was.

“Aurelio, isn’t the the anklet you were looking for?” Cheetah said, looking shocked.

Aurelio crouched down and picked it, looking up at Amour with a cold look in his eyes.

“Master, I didn’t know you had such thing in your belongings I didn’t take it.. I promise” Amour said, fear already sipping inside her.

Was history going to repeat itself? Will she get accused of something she didn’t do?

Aurelio began walking towards her, his gaze never leaving her.

Amour’s body began trembling at each step he took. She made to take a step back but was stopped by his words.

“Don’t” He said and she froze on her track

Aurelio stopped in front of her, staring down at her

“I swear I didn’t steal it, please believe me” Amour said as tears trickled down her cheek.

Aurelio crouched down and lifted one of her leg, placing it on his thigh. He unhooked the anklet and wounded it around her ankle, taking everyone in the room by shock

“Aurelio w-what are you doing?” Cheetah stuttered.

“It’s actually fine if she has it coz I was looking for it to give it to her” Aurelio said.

Cheetah staggered back, gripping her chest tightly as she felt something stroke her.
