When i told my uncle, he said it was a ploy used by me to fail maths. So i had to face the mountain myself. If i didn’t recover all my marks i was not going to succeed in my quest to go abroad.
During the second sequence exam Mr Tama the maths teacher still failed us severely. I decided to face the bull by his horns. So i confronted him,
“Please sir, what you are doing is unfair, if you don’t change your attitude, i will report you to the highest place i can go to,”
“Climb to Heaven and tell God,”
The teacher responded carelessly, though i just wanted to make him realize maths was so important to me but he instead called the name of God in vain.
“Please sir, it is not good to call the name of God in vain,”
“Who are you to teach me good morals?”
When he said this, i decided to take it privately to the Dean of studies but when the Maths teacher told him,
“She is just a liar, she spend her time out of the maths class and during exams she cheat and expect to pass. Are you telling the Dean of studies this lies because i always call you; My wife. So i shouldn’t joke with you again Beri. Ha ha! Don’t mind her sir and her expensive jokes.”
I almost went mad, when the Dean of studies believed him,
“Beri go to class.”
“Look at my paper sir, are my answers not right?”
But the Dean of Studies was not a maths nor had a science background. So i had no choice but to succumb to the Dean of studies conclusion.
I decided to retire to class but not from making sure Mr Tama got what he deserved. After thinking for so long, i decided that during the days i had only math, i was not going to attend his class but i was going to wear my uniform and walk on foot to the administrative head quarters to meet someone who could put him at the right spot. A place that was going to be hot for him.
