I went home that evening and as usual Aunty Mercy had passed by. She had left a message for me saying that she would be bringing in the Lady she had kept for his brother when next she’s coming. I paid no attention to her warnings though.
I told my husband about going home to make peace with my family and he told me he was going to support me through out.

When we arrived home, I removed everything and unpacked it . The house was very dusty since no one had lived there for long so I decided I was going to go to the market to get cleaning materials and also fresh spices. We had bought enough food and fruits while on our way, since my kids loved fruits.
I took one of the cars and drove off to the market , while my husband stayed home with the kids. He was very much better now and could handle himself just Fine.
I drove to foot market, but had to pass through commercial Avenue to look for a good place to park my car. Walking in the market was not that easy as people were choked up like sardine. It was a festive period and many people were streaming in and out of the market. The weather wasn’t making things any better as rain had just stopped. Mud and deep water rain gutters were everywhere and it hindered free movement. I held my purse in front of me as I Crossed it over my shoulders for security reasons. I pushed through till I reached the section where Vegetables were sold.
“Mummy cam make I give that jama jama ya. I go putam plenty” an elderly woman said in pidgin English, as she ushers me to her hurt.

That’s how problem started with this two women and I couldn’t take it. I left and bought vegetables from their next neighbors. I went around got everything that I wanted to buy called a truck and it carried it to where my car was. When he was done parking my things in the car I paid him. I entered my car and I was about to go when I mistakenly entered a gutter that was filled with water rain and it splashed out on someone outside. I quickly arranged the car and parked it to rush out to say I apologized.

The girl in question had tied a scarf on her head and wore a blue gown which could portrayed her pregnancy. I even became even more guilty at the moment.

“Besides I even have to thank you because If you didn’t do what you did My husband and I wouldn’t have realized that we actually loved each other.”
She went on and kept apologizing and crying I felt really sorry for her. While we parted, I gave her the sum of twenty thousand frs which she kept thanking me for it.
I went home and cook and severed lunch. After which I told my husband that we all should go to my house to see my brother the next day, in which he accepted. My reason for suggesting that we all go was because I knew my brother won’t be angry if he saw me with my kids. The next day was a Sunday, the best day to visit. We went to Church that morning and by afternoon we prepared, entered the car and drove off to our compound.
When we arrived there we, the compound was filled with so many people and so many strange Faces. I told my husband and the kids to remain in the car so that I go and fine out what is happening. When I stepped out of the car , it was then that I discovered that my father’s picture had been placed on a banner that had been placed on our gate at the top. I felt really sad and tears rolled down my Chicks, but I immediately controlled my self when I felt a hand touch me from behind.
“Bright?”
I turned to see Emerald who had aged a little

“Bright !!! It is you. Where have you been? We thought something bad happened to you.”
“How could have just left like that and not even bother to even Check on us?”

She offered to take me home to my brother but I told her my family was in the car and I couldn’t let them stay there for too long. She came along with me and helped my kids out of the car she was so happy to see them. She greeted my husband in a very respectful and humble way.
As we entered the gate I could already spot Joseph on the Balcony. He had gown beards all round his mouth and had bald his head and became even Chubbier than before. But I could still remember him. He rushed down from where he was to the amazement of the onlookers and rushed towards me and hugged so tight that my son started crying.
I was so happy seeing my troublesome brother again after a long time. I can never forget that feeling. It was so good. When Hillary heard the commotion outside, he came out and equally rushed towards me and hugged me. Joseph had taken Ryan from me now and Roi was with his father.
“Bright !” Hillary said as he fell down on his knees on the floor in front of me crying
“I am so sorry. I didn’t think you would go this far from us. I am sorry Bright”
“I really am. I have searched everywhere for you. I was planning to move to the center myself to look for you”
“Common it’s Okay!!!” I said comforting him and helping him to stand up.
“I know Mum will be do disappointed at me.”

I helped him and we entered in the house. Of Couse he was so happy seeing my Children and Husband. He apologized a thousand times. And told me he was afraid something had happened to me.
He also said after I left he felt really bad and irresponsible for letting me part with the family. He said I was his only younger sister and ever since our parents disappeared, he had always considered me his first Child and so he had deeply regretted his decision for letting me go just like that.
After my father’s burial, My husband went ahead and paid my Bride price and the traditional wedding took place.
I introduced my kid, Ryan and Roi to their siblings who were now very big. Joseph had equally gotten married to a white and they had a beautiful colored baby with beautiful blue eyes.
I made peace with my Father’s wife and my other younger siblings. My best friend Mary had gotten Married and had a Child as well.
That Christmas was indeed a Christmas for reconciliation and forgiveness. We invited my entire family to come spend Christmas with us at our mansion Up station and they accepted. After the celebration we had to go back so as to enable the kids to go to school.
Aunty Mercy had indeed lived up to her promise as she had taken another woman to the house to stay. She had driven all the staff in the house.
