“Good morning Iyà” I greeted iyà as I got to the kitchen to find her talking with the new house keeper my husband had got for me after we got married.
I had actually insisted on doing my things myself, the ever pampering daddy insisted that he wanted me nowhere else but on the bed. Plus, he didn’t want me to risk getting hurt while trying to run around in the house doing chores.
“She’s not the first person to get pregnant Andrew. I don’t like the way you’re going about this girl and hwr pregnancy. Remember that over indulging her now will only make things remain out of your control after now.
“Getting a stranger into your home now is not really the best idea. You should let her nurse this pregnancy while still retaining some human attitudes and traits” iyà had told my husband, but I only had to look at him for some seconds to make him know that I didn’t like what his mother was saying.
He finally did what he promised and got the housekeeper his aunt sent to us, and ever since then, it seemed iyà had chosen to frustrate me
“Shouldn’t you check the time to know what’s appropriate to greet?” The woman answered, unable to suppress the urge to talk to me in a way she really wanted to.
“Iyà, the truth is, I just greeted you, and if you’re not just trying to get on my wrong sides, you would have just acknowledged the greetings.
“I slept very late last night because I had duties I needed to perform to my newly wedded husband, and if he was angry that I couldn’t get up so early this morning, he wouldn’t have forced me to join him eat the early breakfast you prepared for him.
“And iyà, the truth is, I only agreed to take those few bites of the terribly made scrambled eggs and toasted bread because my husband was worried about the baby and how it could possibly be starving if I didn’t eat before I continued sleeping” I said, rubbing my stomach as I spoke.
She looked at me with her eyes open so widely in shock. “The scrambled eggs I made for my son was terribly made? I don’t blame you Madonna. Andrew knew how rûde people form your tribe are, but he chose to jump from frying pan to fire” she told me
“Say what you wanna, but you’re not going to change the fact that he’s going to remain mine forever. And if you don’t find yourself on my good sides, then I’m sorry for you iyà” I replied
“Did you just talk to me omò ibò? Was it me you were talking to?” Andrew’s mother asked me, making me so angry I felt like slapping her for looking at me with so much disgüst.
“Is there anyone else in this place? Iyà, please don’t stress me. I only came to the kitchen to get something, and not to argue until I lose this precious child” I told her and walked away, before she annoyed me enough to make me do something we’ll all regret.
I turned around to walk back to my room after I got the hollandia yogurt I went there to get, but this woman held my hand, asking me what I planned to do with the yogurt.
“What’s this iyà? Since when did I start having to explain to you what I do with things that I decide to take from the refrigerator?” I asked her in ãnger.
“Since my son convinced me that you’re carrying his child. Madonna, I don’t give a rat àrse whether you eat dog’s poops or something worse, but now that you claim to be having my grand child in you, you’re going to have to listen to me about the things you take in” she told me, wriggling the yogurt out of my hands.
I became so myad that if I hadn’t remembered that I was pregnant, I would have fought iyà to get my drink back from her.
If she wanted to drink yogurt, couldn’t she have just honourably asked me to pass her one from the refrigerator instead of trying to act like she was caring for me, when in fact she was only trying to show how greedy she was.
I turned around in anger and walked back to my room to get my phone. It would be very bad that I got my husband feeling that I was fīghting his mother, the very first day he left me at home, after our wedding, so I called him.
“Hello daddy” I said the moment he answered the call.
“How is my baby Donna doing? Are you missing me so much already that you’re sounding like you’re crying?” he asked me.
I was very pleased to see that he could tell my mood just by listening to my voice.
“Daddy, Iyà is frùstrating me. I’ve been so hungry, and she has simply refused to allow me eat anything in the house” I cried.
“That can’t be true. How can my mother who knows you’re having my first fruit in you refuse to allow you eat, when I have begged her to ensure that different kinds of food was available before you woke up, to enable you choose what you want?
“I employed the house keeper to ensure things were done on time, and asked my mother to please supervise the lady, to ensure that you didn’t have to stress yourself at all. Why is iyà doing this?” he lamented over the phone.
“I don’t know daddy, but I know that if you don’t come home now with the hollandia yogurt she took from me, and a double sized burger, I’m going to keep crying until I faint” I told him and hung up before he could say anything.
I sat on the bed, waiting for him with just my g-strìng pànties. My full and succulent sisters were totally uncovered, and itching for his touch, as I thought of him appearing at the door, at any time.
Some minutes later, I heard him querying the house keeper, berating her for not doing her job, the very first day he left the house.
His mother’s voice began to scold him harshly, and all of a sudden, I couldn’t hear my husband’s voice again.
I was expecting him to actually scold his mother, but not only had he shifted the blames to the house keeper, he had suddenly lost his tongue the moment his mother started scolding him like a little boy.
Staying back in the room would certainly make her have a Field’s day, so I got my chiffon scarf, covered the much I could and walked to the sitting room.
I met iyà asking my husband to hand her the bag he was holding, claiming I wasn’t supposed to eat junks.
And if I hadn’t come out, if I had hesitated for a few seconds more, then truly, she would have hijacked the things he got for me, like she did the one I got from the refrigerator earlier.
“Daddy, please come with me to the room now, and with the things I asked for. This scarf is making me too hot already” I told him, beginning to lose the sacrifice as I sauntered towards the bedroom. I knew he’d certainly follow me
And he did. I heard his footsteps as he followed me, then I heard his mother order him to hand her the bag at once.
“Not today iyà, please understand” he said and ran right into the room behind me.
“I got what you asked for my Donna, but would you like to eat this first or that?” he asked, pointing to his already fully set phàllus with his left hand while his right hand threw the bag of things he bought for me, on the dressing table, and began to undress, not bothering to wait for my answer.
I smiled and jumped on the bed, bending to take a doggy pose and making my butt roll sêductively as I twerked in wait for him
