Maid who absconded with her employer’s baby confesses to selling the child for N800k after she was caught in Ikorodu
A recent hire of a maid via an agency has resulted in the sale of the child for whom she was responsible.
According to reports, the baby and the maid, Ruth Okezie, fled the Shomolu home around two in the morning on Saturday, February 3.
Following the social media publicization of a missing person’s complaint, the maid—without the baby—was discovered in Ikorodu.
Now that she has admitted it, she sold the child for N800,000.
