TORONTO, ON –
Drake‘s Toronto home is at the center of a police investigation after a shooting occurred near the property, injuring one person.
Toronto Police revealed in a brief post on X (formerly Twitter) that the shooting took place in the early hours of Tuesday morning (May 7) in the city’s ritzy Bridle Path neighborhood, home to the rapper’s “Embassy” mansion.
The victim, whose identity has yet to be made public, was taken to hospital with “serious injuries,” police said. The assailant, who has also yet to be identified, is believed to have fled the scene in a vehicle.
A photo has emerged on social media of police taping off the street outside Drake’s home, although there is currently no indication that he was connected to the shooting in any way.
