” Just shut up” Pepper rolled eyes and walked away.

He went into the kitchen and leaned on the island, resting his palms on it as his memories from twenty one years ago came flooding.

<FLASHBACK~21 YEARS AGO~RIVER MOLL>

Little Pepper and his dad are currently on their way back to the river.

His dad is actually a fisherman, and they’re already done for the day, but they found out they left a fishing net behind when they got home, and that’s what they came back for.

“Can I become a fisherman like you one day?” Pepper asked the smiling father.

” No, you’ll become better Mario, I want you to be something cool like a doctor, and make cool cash” he replied.

” Ok, I’ll be a doctor” Pepper replied, doing a fist bump with him, but a gunshot brought them back to reality when they got to the Riverside.

The father quickly covered him, then they hid and peeped out to see a ship on the river, and a girl crying on it.

A boy is in the water, swimming his way to she ship.

“That’s the beggar who lives beside the river with his mum, i know him” Pepper said quickly.

One of the men in the ship aimed for the boy in the water, and he was shot.

“Oh no!” Pepper gasped as the boy began sinking.

The ship sailed away, and the father bolted out of their hiding place.

He jumped into the water and saved the drowning boy, bringing him out of the water.

“Will he survive? Dad” Pepper said worriedly, but the father’s eyes were already turning.

He actually gets terribly sick anytime he gets in the water, and it’s obviously happening again.

“Dad!” Pepper shouted, holding him.

He tried waking the boy, but he started breathing heavily, holding his chest.

“Dad let’s go home, you need to get hot water treatment, dad!” Pepper pulled him up.

” But I need to… I need to save him completely” the father gasped, wanting to kneel beside the boy again.

” Your life is more important! Let’s go!” Pepper started pulling him away from the river.

His legs were toppling as they walked, but they haven’t even gotten far from the river when his weak leg stumbled on a stunt, and he fell.

His head hit on a stone, and his blood spilled.

“Dad!!!!” Pepper screamed in horror, falling beside his lifeless body.

Pepper sniffed out hot tears immediately, covering his face with his palms.

“I couldn’t even become a doctor like you wanted, I became a thug dad, a thug” he cried gently, his tears falling on the ground.

Jericho entered the room and smiled when he saw Leela is still asleep under the duvets.

It was a long night, so it’s expected.

He sat beside her in bed and stroked her hair, then be leaned into her and kissed her forehead lovingly.

“Sleeping beauty” he said, and she wriggled gently like an infant, looking so cute with her scattered hair.

“Wakey wakey” he said, still stroking her hair.

Her eyes opened, and she smiled when she saw his face first.

“Jerry” she poured childishly.

He lifted her up in his arms immediately, and she giggled, hanging her arms on his neck.

“Where are we going?” She asked, and he pecked her lips.

” Secret” he winked, biting his lip .

She chuckled, locking eyes with this caring man as he took her out of the room, to the dinning.

Her eyes widened instantly at that she met.

Different dishes, both national and international, all looking incredulously ostentatious. They’re already looking sumptuous even without tasting.

It’s even insane that as she inhaled the sweet aroma, her heartbeats accelerated, and her head became blank as she looked back at Jericho who was smiling handsomely.

“Good morning baby, like what you see?” He asked, smiling wider.

That smile made things worse, and Leela’s month opened on it’s own immediately.

She dropped the bombshell.

“Jerry I love you, please marry me”
