Jericho sighed and pocketed his hands, then he faced the river.
“Good job, Jericho” he smiled, thinking about Rana’s tears earlier.

Leela ran straight to her room in the castle, and she stayed behind the door, caressing her lips.
“Wait… I kissed him two times today, meaning I had three kisses with him already, gosh! What the hell is wrong with me!” She covered her face and sat on the ground.

“Who the hell told me to come for the interview! I could die right now! I’m so tired! How could they use me like a donkey on my first day!” Anastasia complained, diving her pen in her scattered hair as she curved her lips.

“It’s like this cos it’s your first day, your workload will reduce tomorrow”
“What are these documents for?” She asked.
“It’s a proposal, scrutinize it and decide if it’s worth considering, then submit it to the CEO’s office before you clock out” he winked and left.
“Why don’t you just kill me!” She shouted after him.
“You’re too pretty!” He replied, and she smiled.
“I’m… Pretty?” She facepalms herself.
“He said I’m pretty!” She said and bit her lip
“I suddenly got energized” she smiled, grabbing the paper.
Within twenty minutes, she was done.
She submitted to the CEO’s office as required, then she came back for her bag and left the office.
“Finally! I’m so hungry!” She yawned, stepping out.
Jimmy was already waiting outside.
“Jimmy! Thought you left already” she smiled brightly.
“Was waiting for you” he replied.
“My car is at the repair shop, can you give me a ride? Please?” He begged with puppy eyes, and her heart skipped beats.

“Anastasia?” Jimmy blinked, and that brought her back.

“You worked hard today, can I buy you dinner?” He smiled, and she hiccupped.

“You took money from my purse, Kenji” Helen said, coming out of her room.
“I only borrowed it, ok deduct it from my monthly salary” he replied from the living room.
He’s playing PS with Nadine.
“You could have asked!” Helen shouted.
“Like you’d give me” Kenji scoffed, and Helen threw a pillow at him.
It got his head, and he fell together with the PS control.
He lost the game to Nadine immediately, and she stood.
“Victory!!! 3-2 straight up!!” She screamed, pointing up her control.
“Mum!!” Kenji shouted.
“What did you do with the money?” Helen asked.
“He shopped for his girlfriend” Nadine replied.

“I told you to deduct it from my monthly salary!” Kenji shouted.
“How dare you shout at me brat!” Helen made to go after him, but the entry of Rice stopped her.
She’s in tears.
“Maurice!” Nadine ran to her.

“What’s with the tears?” Kenji muttered.
“My boyfriend, he broke up with me because… Because… He said I’m not his standard” she cried.
“What!” Helen and Nadine chorused.
“Stan… standard?” Kenji started laughing till he fell on the chair
“Stop the laughter monkey!” Nadine snapped, taking Rice upstairs.
“Can you be serious for once? She’s hurt!” Helen said.
“Sorry, but the reason is funny” he replied, rushing into his room.
Helen dialled Leela’s line, but it’s off.
“It has been off for two days straight, is she really ok? Do I need to go to the cops again?”
