    Later that year, she produced another Yoruba drama movie titled: “Ewa – Beauty”

    She has been featured in well over 120 movies in Nigeria (both in the English and Yoruba aspect of Nollywood)

    Adunni has two sons; D’Marion and Ayden. She revealed that after she made a difficult choice to break up with their father, she would continue being a single parent.

    Even though he is an artist (and artists, according to research, should posses social skills, to thrive in their careers) Kizz Daniel lacks the art of socializing.

    ‘I built a world in my head and am comfortable in that space,’ said the 29-year-old singer, to Adesope Olajide of Afrobeats Podcast.

    In a recent interview, Kizz Daniel admitted that socializing with people is difficult for him, who grew up comfortable in his own space because as a chubby kid then, he was afraid of getting bullied by other kids.

    That fear eventually led to introvertness, and by the time he was mature, he realized he had ‘lost all forms of social skills’.

    He pointed out that whenever he goes out with his team, he usually sips on a drink, in order to be able to relate with people.

    The police have also arrested the Nurse who allegedly administered an Injection to the deceased Singer before his demise.

    Mohbad, a 27-year-old Afrobeat singer, passed away under circumstances that raised questions, prompting a thorough Investigation by the Lagos Police Command.

    The family of the late singer has expressed concerns about threats from individuals, including Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley. Mohbad’s mother, Mrs. Adebose Oluniyi, has called for maximum protection for her family. Senator Ishaku Abbo, along with Nollywood stars Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo, visited the family and assured them of protection. The lawmaker pledged that the government would thoroughly investigate the matter and ensure that justice is served. The Senate is set to resume on September 26, and they plan to invite the police to brief them on the progress of the case.

In a response to netizens, the coffin maker, identified as @Heavenly Call Funerals, defended himself, stating that it was not his fault that the neck appeared bent

    He explained that due to the urgency of the burial, there was no time to take measurements for a customized fit.

    According to the coffin maker, Mohbad’s people requested the coffin to be made quickly, leaving no room for the usual measurement process

    The mother took Matthew home and ever since then that’s what she has been nursing, except for what Matthew said when he was with Naira, he can’t remember anything again, he can’t remember he was once a DJ, he can’t remember his family or anything

    The heartbreaking news was initially revealed by music executive Ovie on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

    As of now, the cause of Mohbad’s untimely death remains unclear, leaving fans and fellow artists in a state of mourning and disbelief.

    Mohbad had been a rising star in the Nigerian music scene, known for his distinctive blend of pop, Afrobeat, and hip-hop. He also gained recognition for his talent as a songwriter and lyricist.

    Preparing for a visit to his fatherland, Nigeria, Banjohifi also told us he’s coming to launch African Vibes and also to work with some talented home based artistes before the year runs out.

    The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has mandated commercial banks to obtain the social media handle(s), e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, residential addresses, and other personal details of their customers.

    This was contained in its newly published ‘Central Bank of Nigeria (Customer Due Diligence) Regulations, 2023’ document, which aims to further deepen the identification process in the banking system.

    According to the apex bank, the regulations shall apply to all financial institutions under its purview.

    CBN said; “To provide additional customer due diligence measures for financial institutions under the regulatory purview of the Central Bank of Nigeria to further their compliance with relevant provisions of the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act (MLPPA), 2022, Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act (TPPA), 2022, Central Bank of Nigeria (Anti-Money Laundering, Combating the Financing of Terrorism and Countering Proliferation Financing of Weapons of Mass Destruction in Financial Institutions) Regulations, 2022 (CBN AML, CFT and CPF Regulations) and international best practices.

    “And enable the CBN to enforce compliance with customer due diligence measures in line with the CBN AML, CFT and CPF Regulations.”

    Under its customer identification column, the banking regulator stated that financial institutions must identify their customer (whether permanent or occasional, and whether natural or legal persons or legal arrangements) and obtain the following information:

    “For Individuals — legal name and any other names used (such as maiden name), permanent address (full physical address), residential address (where the customer can be located), telephone number, e-mail address, and social media handle; date and place of birth, Bank Verification Number, Tax Identification Number, nationality, occupation, public position held, and name of employer.”

    It further noted that an individual must have any of an unexpired passport, national identification card, residence permit, social security records, or driver’s license.

    What forms part of the requirement are; “Type of account and nature of the banking relationship, and signature, and politically exposed person status.”

    The document also had separate requirements for legal persons and legal arrangements.
