The video ended by now, but the preview is still on on the laptop.

Richie suddenly pressed play again, and the video began playing all-over.

“Did you find something?” Mrs. Kelsey asked.

“It’s not real” he replied, staring deeply.

They both moved closer to him to check it out too.

“Why is it that none of them were moving? Why were they not crying for mercy at gunpoint? It’s odd” Everest talked too, and Mrs Kelsey squinted.

“Fake-Me, it’s Fake-Me” Richie replied.

“Isn’t that a computer model produced by Chairman Lee’s company?” Everest said.

“What’s that?” Mrs. Kelsey asked.

“A model used to create fake images of people the exact way they are” Richie replied.

“Then can we move to plan B now?” Everest smiled.

“Shall we?” Richie replied.

FLASHBACK, LAST NIGHT AT THE GRAVEYARD*

After packing out all of the money from the underground safe into the truck, Everest stretched out tiredly.

“Finally it’s done. What’s left is for Jillian to run mad” he yawned.

“But… don’t you think we need to check for trackers? Someone like Jillian won’t let her guard down so much. We destroyed the cameras in the safe, but I can’t help but think we should scrutinize the bundles” Richie replied.

“He’s actually right, why didn’t I think of this?” Mrs. Kelsey said.

“You mean we’re gonna offload the whole cash and start searching for trackers? Oh no” Everest groaned.

“That won’t be necessary. I’ve got a scanner in my office, we only need to go there and get it to check” Mrs. Kelsey said.

“Good” Richie replied, and they got in the car, driving straight to Kel Cosmetics.

Mrs. Kelsey brought out the scanner, and it was Richie who took the device and handled it.

He ran it through the surface of the stack, and for almost an hour, nothing happened.

“See? We only wasted out time and efforts” Bernie said, but almost Immediately, the scanner beeped red on a spot, and Richie’s eyes widened.

“It’s in” he muttered, and they jointly digged into that spot till they got to the bundle that has the tracker.

Everest got it, and truly, there’s a round tracker banded with it.

“She’s smart” Richie said.

“Yunno what? I’ll drive the money to somewhere safe, Richie go drop the tracker somewhere” Mrs. Kelsey said.

She drove the car away, and Richie rode a taxi with Everest to Jeguk Hotel where he threw the tracker in the underground parking lot.

“There’s a tracker in Lovelyn’s uniform, I can track down their location with that” Richie said.

“I’m going with you” Everest replied.

“Me too. We started this together and we should end it together too” Mrs. Kelsey said, and the three rushed out of the office at once.

Thanks to the loudness of the place once again, no one is aware of what’s going on inside one of the rooms.

The four captives (Lovelyn, Bernie, Mrs. Kang are Hwasa) are currently on the ground, still unconscious.

Jillian is sitting on a chair in front of them with Mrs. Han beside her.

Tsunami and the rest of the members are currently going after the money.

“You should have warned your son not to get involved in this” Jillian said, pouring herself a cup of beer.

“I did all I could, but he doesn’t listen to anyone” Mrs. Han replied.

“I can imagine the level of sorrow they’d be in right now, thanks to the Fake-Me video” Jillian grinned.

“But….are you really gonna kill them for real? ” Mrs. Han asked shakily.

“Yes, but not now. I still need Richie to perfect my plans, and to get Richie, I need his mother, twin and girlfriend as bait, but come to think of it, your son Bernie is useless here, should I just kill him?” Jillian stood, and Mrs. Han quickly knelt.

“No! No please boss! Boss don’t do it!! I promise to wipe his memories and that of Everest after you release him! Please consider the pains I went through before birthing him and spare his life!!! ” Mrs. Han began crying.

Jillian threw the gun at her immediately, and she stopped the tears.

“Pick the gun and kill him yourself” she said.

“No!!!! No please I can’t kill my own child with my own hands!!! I can’t!!!!” Mrs. Han cried out again, and that woke Bernie.

He opened his eyes, and when he tried to stand, he couldn’t. His hands and legs are tied tightly.

“Mum” he called when he saw Mrs. Han holding the gun.

“Bernie” she replied tearfully.

“Shoot the gun!!!!” Jillian shouted, and Bernie’s eyes widened.

“I can’t…boss I really can’t…I can’t kill my son!” Mrs. Han cried.

“At the count of 3” Jillian stood.

“1..” she raised a finger.

“2…” She raised another finger.

Mrs. Han held the gun tightly this time, aiming at Bernie whose eyes are still so wide.

“3!” Jillian said, and Mrs. Han sharply turned the gun to Jillian.

She tried shooting her instead, but Jillian was faster. She has a second gun so she shot at her.

Mrs. Han got hit on the head, and her skull cracked as she fell down with tears in her eyes.

“Mum!!!!!!!!” Bernie screamed and tried to stand again, but the ropes are impossible to tear.

“Mum!!!!” He cried again when Mrs. Han’s eyes closed slowly. She gave up.

The gunshot must have woken the others cos Hwasa and Lovelyn’s eyes opened at the same time, then Mrs. Kang’s.

“Where are we? Where’s this place?” Lovelyn struggled.

“Mum! Mum are you ok?” Hwasa asked, and Mrs. Kang nodded to say yes.

Their eyes widened at once when they saw Mrs. Han’s body lying in blood, and Hwasa started crying.

Dumb Mrs. Kang started crying too, but Lovelyn stayed calm.

So far the tracker is with her, it’s sure they’d be saved soon.

Jillian walked up to them and pointed the gun at Bernie’s head. Lovelyn’s heart skipped a beat.

“Why don’t you go meet your mum?” Jillian smiled.

“I’ll kill you with my bare hands I promise! I’m gonna kill you!!!” Bernie screamed, and Jillian laughed.

“It’s actually fun to see you ranting, I’d have loved to spare you, but you’re of no use here” she said and was about to pull the trigger when Tsunami rushed in with the others.

“Boss! We’ve been tricked!”

“What do you mean?” Jillian demanded.

Tsunami brought out the tracker.

“We found only the tracker at the parking lot, no money in sight. They played smart” she replied.

“Arggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!” Jillian screamed crazily, grabbing the chair she stood from.

She shattered it on the wall and grabbed one of the broken pieces, stabbing Tsunami with it on the chest.

“Ahh f**k!” Tsunami groaned, going on her knees.

Jillian angrily removed it from her chest, and Tsunami started bleeding.

“Richie… He kept toying with me. Who does he think he is? Who!!!!!” She screamed, shooting into the wall.

“We have to plan fast. I don’t think we’re safe here, what if they know our location? You used Fake-Me to make the video and I think Richie detected already. What if all these is his plan? What if…” Tsunami started talking.

“Tracker? Search them for any sign of it” Jillian replied, and despite Tsunami’s bleeding, he began searching the captives, and when she got to Lovelyn, he felt it in her skirt, and she raised it up to see the tracker beeping under her tights.

She removed it quickly, then she slapped Lovelyn hard on the face.

“Ah!” Lovelyn gasped as her face met with the floor.

“Found it!” Tsunami stood, raising the tracker.

Jillian snatched it and smashed it immediately, then she untied the rope on Lovelyn’s legs before pulling her up.

“I only need her right now. We need to get out of here” she said, pulling Lovelyn out of the room.

Tsunami followed with the others, leaving the remaining three.

Immediately they left, Everest came in with Richie and Mrs. Kelsey.

“Richie!” Hwasa gasped, and they were quickly untied

“They took Lovelyn away” Bernie said, and Richie rushed out of the room immediately.

“Are you ok?” Everest asked Bernie.

“I’m fine” Bernie nodded, and Everest’s eyes widened when he saw Mrs. Han’s body on the ground.

“Mum” he muttered shockingly.

Bernie ran out of the room to join Richie, and with tears in his eyes, Everest ran out too.

“Mum” Hwasa hugged Mrs. Kang tightly.

“I’m glad we made it alive. I’m so glad”

Mrs. Kelsey smiled, looking at them. She stayed back with them.
