He looked at the door again after he finished reading the text, and he turned around hurtfully, walking away.
INSIDE THE HOUSE*
Lovelyn was still standing behind the main door with Bernie, and she didn’t move till she heard Richie’s footsteps as he walked away outside.
She let go of Bernie’s hand and but her lip so hard that blood erupted from it, and surprisingly, she began crying.
“Hey, what’s going on?” Bernie said surprisingly, but she even cried harder, surprising him more.
“Hey, Lovelyn Jeong!” He called loudly, and she squatted on her spot, still crying so much.
“Your neighbors will think I did something bad to you so stop the waterworks, you don’t look good with tears” he said, and her tears began dropping down.
He gently squatted beside her and slowly raised his right hand to her back, giving her continuous pats.

KIM MANSION*
Richie is obviously not in a good mood when he arrived.
He took a minute to stare at the mansion and almost decided to go back, but he changed his mind and went in nevertheless.
“Finally he’s here!” Mrs. Kim stood and rushed to give him a hug.
Celine’s eyes went so wide immediately, she couldn’t control it as she stared at the hottie who just entered.
Though her dad was always bugging her with gists about him when she was in Singapore, but she didn’t take it serious cos he loves exaggerating, but now that she’s seeing things for herself, she couldn’t help but drool.
Love at first sight just happened to her with the hottest dude ever! And she was already imagining their wedding before Mrs. Kim broke the hug with him.
“Meet my childhood friend” Mr. Kim said from his seat.
“Mr. Nam? I know” Richie managed to fake a smile as he bowed respectfully in front of the man.
“You grew into a fine handsome man already, I’m so happy to see you again Richie” Mr. Nam smiled.
“And meet his daughter, Celine” Mrs. Kim said, and Celine stood immediately, tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear as she walked to him.
“Hey, I’m gonna become a VIP student at Horizon tommorow, let’s get along well. Nice to meet you Richie” she smiled widely, extending an hand.
Richie looked at the hand, then at her face. He doesn’t need a seer to tell him what his parents are trying to do, but it’s never gonna work out.
He ignored her hand and faced his mum.
“I’ll be at my mansion, I need to get my home treatment and rest” he said freely and walked out of the mansion.
Celine folded her hand tightly in embarrassment, and Mrs. Kim nudged her immediately.
“Follow him” she whispered.
“Huh?” She blinked.
“Go after him already!” Mrs. Kim pushed her slightly, and she rushed out of the mansion.
Richie was about to enter his car when she got out, and she ran faster till she got to him and pulled him back by the right arm, panting as she halted.
“I…I got your number from your mum already, can I call you anytime?” She said breathlessly. She was already sweating as a result of the short run she did.
Richie took his arm from her with a glare. “I don’t appreciate unnecessary contacts” he said coldly and got in his car.
He drove out, and Celine smiled, staring at his number on her phone.
She quickly saved it with CRUSH before rushing back in
“Dad I’m ready to get married to him! Please make the preparations fast i can’t wait to be his wife!” She said excitedly.
“Then we should really start preparing” Mr. Kim smiled.

LOVELYN’S PLACE*
Bernie is currently inside with her, and he’s sitting in the small living room with a pen and paper in front of him, but he’s not looking at either
His eyes are roaming the house, and he couldn’t stop staring.
“Say whatever you have to say before you burst” Lovelyn said.
She’s standing in front of him, hands folded under her b**bs.
Thanks to his pats and little talks, she was able to stop crying some minutes ago, though she’s still got red eyes.
“Just that… this place is too small…” Bernie said, still looking around.
“It’s a semi-basement apartment, so you don’t expect it to be wide” she rolled eyes.
“Fine, I’ll just write the letter and leave” he replied and took the pen.
He began writing seriously without looking up for minutes, and when he was done, he dropped the pen on the paper and stood.
“So now are we good?” He smiled.
“Your smile looks ugly” she said, and he stopped immediately.
“Yah, being rude to a VIP is a death wish” he glared.
“Well we’re not in school now” she replied with a glare too.
They began glaring at each other for like three minutes, and it turned to a glaring competition till Bernie bursted into laughter.
“I knew it, you lose Bernie!” Lovelyn laughed too, and he suddenly came closer.
He dropped his wallet in her palm and rushed out of the house without looking back.
“Hey! Bernie!” She rushed after him, but he already drove off when she got outside.
She opened the wallet and saw a lot of cash plus a note.
“What’s this?” She muttered, picking the note.

She sighed after reading, then she smiled slightly before returning the note to the wallet.
She went back in to dress up for the clubhouse.

RICHIE’S MANSION*
“I clearly told you not to walk around yet, young master. Don’t you want this wound to heal fast?” The doctor said when he opened the wound.
Richie is shirtless, sitting on the couch in front of him.
“Just get it treated already, i can’t wait one more minute” he replied.
“But it doesn’t seem like you’re willing to let this wound heal, is anything the problem?” The doctor asked, and Richie stood immediately.
“I don’t need treatment anymore, stop coming here” he said, grabbed his shirt and started climbing the stairs…

The doctor stopped talking when he went out of sight, and he sighed.
“Why is he being cranky? Is he ok?” He muttered.
Meanwhile, Richie got to his room and threw the shirt on the bed.
He got his phone and went to his contacts. He almost dialled Lovelyn, but he stopped himself when he remembered her warning.
He threw the phone on the bed and entered the bathroom.

GINGER CLUBHOUSE*
Bernie went there straight from Lovelyn’s place, and he was grinning from ear to ear as he came out of his car.
Savage and Vista were already waiting, and they exchanged glances when they saw him smiling.
“Is everything ok?” Savage asked.
“Of course! I just cleared my guilt and it feels so good! Let’s go in!” He replied cheerfully, going in before them
“What’s up with him?” Vista chuckled.
“This side of him only comes once a year” Savage replied, and they laughed as they went in too.

DRESSING ROOM*
“I told you to find something to do about your wounds before coming here tonight! Now what are we gonna do!” Madam Cash yelled.
Lovelyn is in front of her.
“I’ll have them covered with makeup” she replied, and Madam Cash gasped.
“Oh my! Why haven’t I thought about that! Make it quick kitten!” She patted her and left the room.
Lovelyn got herself dolled up, covering up the wounds with the next thirty minutes.
She was already transformed when Madam Cash came back.
“Good, now go break the ground” she said, and Lovelyn walked out of the room, looking all appealing and s*xy as she stepped into the thin corridor which led to the door.
It opened automatically when she got there, and the men went crazy at the sight of their favorite stripper, screaming her name as she walked gingerly to her stage.
“No one beats kitten in here” Vista said from his seat in the middle of the others.
“You can say that again” Savage smiled.
Bernie was silent, so they both faced him and met him staring hard at Kitten.
“What’s up?” Vista asked.
“Strangely, her figure looks familiar now that I’m looking at it” he replied, and they both rested back on their chairs.
“Here again with your suspicions” Vista shook his head.
Kitten got to the stage eventually and grabbed the pole, starting her magic like she does.
Right from the first minute, the men were already throwing money at her on stage, showering her with cash as she flaunted her almost naked body under the neon.
Things were going well till she started seeing a face in the crowd of men.
She wanted to shake it off at first and pretend like it’s not real, but when he saw a clearer view, her eyes widened, it’s Richie!
She stopped dancing immediately, and the screams coming from the guys stopped.
The song continued playing though, but Lovelyn kept standing.
The man came even closer to her on stage, and that was when she realized it’s not Richie.
She rushed out of the stage nevertheless, leaving the men hanging.
She got to the dressing room and started taking off her thongs hurriedly.
