“Wh..what!” Leela muttered shockingly.
Did he just say that???
The sentence made her body shake, and her mouth refused to speak as she stared at him in shock.
His eyes were piercing cold, sending waves of shivers down her spine.
He smirked meaningfully before standing from her.
He didn’t say another word before walking into the bedroom.
He slammed the door shut and got cigar from the bedstand.
He lightened a stick and stood by the glass wall, staring at the stars as he smoked sadly.
Stars are supposed to be a beautiful sight, but right now it’s nothing close to it. It’s ugly, everything is disgusting.
He’s not a cigar man, but his situation needs it badly, and that’s why he got it. At least, he’d use it to clear his worries.
He took a long puff and blew out a thick cloud of smokes, then he leaned on the wall when he remembered the day he came to check this place out with Rana.
<FLASHBACK~SOME WEEKS AGO>
“Whoaaa!!! I love everything about this place baby! There’s no better Island trust me! Magnolia or nothing!” Rana screamed when she entered the room.
Jericho smiled largely as he watched her run around.
She’s his happiness for real, the only one he has besides Asher.
They’ve just finished checking out every nook and cranny of the island.
“Should we extend our honeymoon to two months? I’d love to spend more private time with you after our wedding” he replied behind her, and she faced him with a knowing smile.
She walked to him and hung her arms on his neck, then he grabbed her @ss.
“I know what you’re thinking” she said, rubbing her nose on his.
“What?” He churtled.
“You planning to f**k me for two months straight? You’re gonna kill me for my parents? Huh? Mr Armstrong?” She said cutely, and he laughed, kissing her cheek.
“Is it bad?”
“It’s not. I get to sing Jericho Armstrong throughout two weeks! Soprano in the making. You’re a tiger in bed, so I’d probably lose my voice” she replied, and he laughed again as she left him and started running around again.
“I love this table! I can rest on it while you f**k me from behind. Perfect doggy spot” she said cheerfully, leaning on it.
Jericho hugged her from behind, kissing her neck gingerly.
“Baby…” she moaned softly.
“Promise me just one thing. You’ll stay with me forever” he whispered.
“It’s always and forever,baby” she replied before facing him, capturing his lips in a deep kiss.
Jericho laughed out so loud, and the cigar fell from him as he stared at the bed.
Tears came out of his eyes as he laughed, but he quickly wiped them.
“I’m so stupid. Jericho you’re a fool” he muttered, then he started laughing again.
“Always and forever? So funny… F**k!”
He sat on the ground and laughed more, leaning on the wall.
Meanwhile, Leela is currently in the kitchen, cooking noodles for herself.
She’s having difficulty in moving around cos of her hurting leg.
It’s a dog bite wound which needs constant treatment so it won’t get infected, but Jericho isn’t even ready to help.
“I hope it didn’t get tetanus” she muttered, looking at the wound with a sigh.
She opened the pot of noodles on fire and smiled as she inhaled the aroma.
“I suddenly feel more hungry, f**k! I’m starving!” She gasped, getting a plate.
It’s not done yet, but hunger made her dish some of it. She had a bite, but her mouth walls got burnt immediately as a result of the hotness.
“F**k! It’s hot!” It’s hot!” She spit it out and started fanning her mouth.
She quickly put off the cooker and placed the pot down, then she stood by the kitchen island and started eating directly from the pot, fanning it before swallowing.
“Why the hell is it so hot! Gosh!” She complained, swallowing another mouthful.
Within five minutes, she ate everything in the pot and even drank the water beneath, then she smiled, but when she turned around and saw the remaining stacks of noodles in the cabinets, she walked to it and took out another four.
“I’m starving, it’s only normal that I eat as much as I can” she said and emptied the four Into the pot again. She started cooking another round.
