“Dad, I hope you’re not missing us too much up there” Coralyn smiled, squatting before a grave

That’s her father’s grave. He died of a car accident when she was small so she doesn’t have much memories with him but with the little that she had she made sure not to forget them

“Mom and I we’re fairing well. Life is a little bit rough but we’ll all pass through it. Mom is currently busy so don’t be mad if she hasn’t yet made time to come visit you” Coralyn said.

She placed her bouquet of flowers on the grave before standing.

“I have to go now. See you another time dad, love you” She waved before walking away.

She dipped her hands into her coat as she walked away. The air was a little bit chilly with the wind that dishevelled her hair.

She tugged her hair behind her ear as she walked.

“Mom.. Dad..”

Coralyn paused when she heard loud cries. She turned to her right to see a man kneeling in front of two graves, crying loudly.

Coralyn made to ignore and just walked away but when she remembered where she saw the man’s coat her eyes widened.

“No… It isn’t him, it’s not possible” Coralyn muttered and made to leave but her curiosity took over so she slowly walked to the person

Her eyes widened even more when she saw it was him… Viper

“It’s him,, he’s really crying!!” Coralyn thought, looking so shocked.

Coralyn looked around and sighed loudly.

“Why must I always run into him” She thought and knelt down before him.

She brought up her shaky hands, slowly placing it on her back.

Viper looked at her with red teary eyes.

“You?” He muttered and quickly looked away, cleaning his tears so she couldn’t see him.

“Hey, there’s nothing embarrassing letting out once’s emotion once in a while. Just cry it out, I promise I won’t tell anyone I saw you in this state. I presume you won’t want anyone to know” Coralyn muttered

Viper cleaned his tears then looked at their graves.

“I was just 5 when that monster took them away from me” Viper muttered.

The memories was still fresh in his mind. He could still remember how men barged in his parent’s house and how his parent’s were begging for them to spare their lives

Apparently, his parents borrowed money from those men so they could feed him and when the deadline reached the men came back to reclaim their money

His mom had told him to hide that day and from his hiding place, he saw everything. How those men brutally kílled his family.

At the age of 5 he became an orphan. He had to feed himself from what he saw in the bin till the age of 10 when his live changed all thanks to Aurelio.

11 years Aurelio decided to take him to Godfather and he accepted to take him in and train him

And that’s how he was able to survive. Maybe that’s why him and Aurelio get along coz they have similar background.

“I’m sorry” Coralyn muttered after he finished telling him his story.

“A mafia is supposed to act tough and never show any signs of emotion but.. Each time I think about them I can’t help it. This isn’t the life I wanted for myself. I wanted to be a surgeon, to make my parents proud for all the sacrifices they made for me” Viper spoke, blinking back the new rounds of tears.

Coralyn sighed sadly, rubbing his back.

••GODFATHER’S SUITE••

Flame walked in the suite and met Godfather sitting on his chair with a not so happy look on his face.

“Godfather” Flame bowed slightly.

“What are the results from the investigation” Godfather asked.

“Yesterday, when we were about to attack Black Venom Cob, it looked like they were anticipating for our attacks. That’s not the first case boss” Flame said.

“That means only one thing… There’s a spy in this clan” Godfather sneered and Flame nodded.

“But who could it be?” He asked

“I have no idea Godfather” Flame replied.

“Sh*t!” Godfather sneered angrily.

••AURELIO’S SUITE••

“Master.” Amour knocked on the door but the door opened on its own so she walked in

“Mas..ter…” Amour called slowly, looking around.

He sent one of his guards to call for her but why isn’t he longer seeing him.

She heard the splashing of water in the bathroom so she dragged her feet to the door

“Master, you called for me?” Amour knocked gently

“Come in” Aurelio said and her eyes widened.

“What!”

She gulped down hard and walked in with her eyes closed tightly.

“I’m here.. Master” She muttered

“What are you doing?” Aurelio’s voice sounded and she slowly opened her eyes.

She heaved out a huge breath of relief when she saw he was inside the soapy tub. Only his head wet upper body was seen.

His thin eyes was starring at her with that usual boring look in them but this time he had a smirk playing on his lips as he say regally in the tub with his arms resting on the edges of the tub.

“Master, what do you-”

“Bath me” He cut her off

Amour’s eyes widened
