“What were you thinking throwing that ball into my eyes?” Taylor had a bag of ice pressed in her eyes as we both say on a beach bench.
“I’m sorry” I apologize, feeling angry at myself. How could I do this to Taylor!?
“And you say nothing is bothering you but I know you better than this. What’s going on with you? You’ve not been yourself today. Is it the book I gave you to read? Fine, I won’t give you any erotic book so just tell me what’s wrong” Taylor pleads with me.
I can’t stand seeing her worry like this and at the same time, I can’t stand seeing her like this so I had to think of something to tell her. Anything that’s not me bringing up Derek and my illicit affairs.
And I thought of one thing, he’s going to hate me for this but fuck it.
“It’s Benny. He already had a girlfriend and he just brought me over to humiliate me, that’s why I left the party on time without telling you. I’m sorry” And I’m sorry too Benny, you don’t deserve this but I’ve got to save myself and Derek even though he’s a jerk.

“We sure did mom, I’ll be in my room now” Derek replies, and just like that he’s gone. Of course, he’d have a good time, as he always does with blondies.
“You two have a cool shower and rest too okay” My mom said to me and Taylor.
“Okay” I held Taylor’s hand and we went to our room. After showering, we sat in front of the vanity table and I was admiring my hair.
“What’s up?” Taylor chuckles and asks.
“Oh nothing, was just wondering how blonde would look on me. Do you think I’d look hot?” I let Taylor see my face to decide. She gives me a studying look before smiling.
“Sexy, you want to change your hair color, any reason?” She asks.
“You see, my birthday is coming up next week” I start and she nods, paying attention. “And I want to look different, when I hit 16 I want to keep a blonde look,” I tell her also denying to myself that Derek is one of the reasons for this.
“That’s smart. I also plan to straighten my hair, and her a nose and tongue piercing when I’m 18” Taylor tells me and we both laugh.
After showering, we had the final dinner for the day which Derek skipped and we went to bed to sleep. Taylor was already asleep but I couldn’t sleep, I wasn’t feeling too good, each time I closed my eyes, I felt Derek’s finger inside me. I’ve not been able to get that night off my mind and I might not be able to feel it anymore because the asshole has been ignoring me.

“I know you’re mad because I ignored you throughout today” His voice came out as a whisper. His eyes burn through mine but all I can think about is his lips. I can easily grab his head and pull him closer but I’m angry. “But I have a reason” He adds.
“What was the reason?” I know I should sound angry but with him so close to me, I felt weak and my voice is betraying me by coming out as a whisper.
“Dove” he moves closer, pressing our heads together. His breathing is louder now. “If I had looked into your eyes then I wouldn’t be able to stop myself from kissing you and taking you in public. I don’t think I would” He confesses.
