‘I will be right there with you in a moment’. I said. I had to change into a Jean short and singlet before going to the sitting room to meet with her.
‘My darling’, she began. ‘As I promised, I have gotten a job for you at my place of work. So you will start work on Monday.’ She broke the good news.
I was overjoyed. The news overwhelmed me. I hugged her tightly. I didn’t even know when I did that. But all I know was I did it. It was nothing but a sign of happiness and appreciation. She has done a lot for me.
I don’t want to go into business. Because that’s what my brother wanted me to do; that I should join him in business instead of sitting at home. Thank God she kept her promise even though it was delayed beyond the expected time.

I couldn’t contain my joy. I hugged her again amid joy. I didn’t even know what triggered me to do that.
‘Thank you very much. I don’t know how to appreciate you. But God in heaven will bless you for me abundantly’, I said while shedding tears of joy.
‘Don’t mention. Just go inside and get yourself ready, let me go and change your wardrobe for you against Monday’, she added.
‘It’s a lie..like for real?’, I asked, surprisingly.
‘Of course.’She smilingly said.’Go and get yourself ready. I want to show you that I am capable of taking care of you even if your brother, my husband, is not around’, she paused. ‘My problem is that you are not taking care of me too’, she added while looking deep into my eyes. I know that the look carried a lot of weight just like her statement. I adjusted from my seat to her position, knelt down and began:
‘I have no gold or silver to give you. But just know that I really appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you very much. God will continue to bless you’, I said, shedding tears of joy.
‘Please stand up.’ She said and gave me a helping hand. ‘Just go and prepare yourself, let me also change, okay?’.
‘Okay, ma’, I said while making my way inside.
The joy was overflowing in my heart. I was shedding tears of joy while going. As a matter of fact, I never expected it this way.
‘Steve,’ she shouted my name.
‘Yes ma’, I answered.
‘Darling, I need a favor from you tonight ‘, she began.’Please promise me you will do it for me’, she said while staring into my eyes in a lustful manner.
‘A favoure? What’s that?’, I asked.
‘Steve, you are not a baby anymore. On hearing my reply, she released a stunning smile. Her dreamy smile alone penetrated deep into my heart that I had to smile back. She blew a kiss to me via the air.
‘Naughty boy, go and get ready let’s be going’, she said, laughing hysterically.
