I was only ten years old when something very terrible happened to me.This is what happened that morning that changed my life completely

It was on Thursday morning around five when I woke up.I was supposed to go to school so I quickly took my bath then put on my uniform and went to have breakfast that my mother was done preparing

I really loved my mother for despite being a single mother she always struggled to raise me.I was her only child and I reminded her of my father

“You do resemble your father baby girl,I wish you would have once met her” she once told me

I didn’t understand why she had to shed tears while saying such words,of course I was just a little girl who was very innocent of what she was going through but that didn’t mean I didn’t wish for a father

In fact I was used to stories told in school by my Friends about their dads and it made me wish the heavens would one day grant me a wish of having a loving dad, anyway to cut the long story short

After haven taken my breakfast,I took my bag and bade my mother goodbye.

“Bye Mila,have a nice day” My mother shouted as I ran waving

By then it was already six in the morning and many of the students were on the road heading to school

I was alone so I hurriedly walked to catch up with my friends who were far ahead when suddenly a vehicle drove past me and suddenly stopped.

Two men who were wearing masks alighted from the black van with tinted windows and rushed towards where I was and grabbed me.

I tried to scream but one of them covered my mouth with his strong hands and carried me into the vehicle before the other one closed the door and the van sped away.

I didn’t know where the men were taking me and what they wanted with me so I was very scared.I had seen movies where children were kidnapped and used for ransom that I was very scared and tried pleading for mercy but it was all in vain.

One of the men took out his gun and pointed it at me

“You better shut your mouth or else I will send you to your maker” The man shouted and immediately I went quiet

We had now driven for almost thirty minutes when the car finally came to a stop and I was pulled out.I didn’t know where we were but it was in the middle of nowhere.There was a large forest nearby.One of the men carried me in while the other and the driver followed behind.
