Dozie couldn’t stop weeping all through that day, he never knew he neglected his wife, he thought ministry should come first. He knew God gave Bisola to him because she was a great asset to him. He remembered their courtship days, before he goes for any ministration, he would knee and ask her to pray for him and after doing that, God’s move would be massive. He could boldly say that the coming of Bisola into his life brought him ministerial breakthrough but after marriage, he became too familiar with her and no longer recognize her position in his life and ministry.

Dozie kept asking God to see him through that phase and work on his wife so that she would forgive him. That night, Dozie received a call, it was from Laura, she called to inform him that she was no longer interested in the relationship as she was not whom he think she was. She went on to tell him that she had terminated three pregnancies and there was a possibility that she would have a delay in childbirth. Being shocked was an understatement of what Dozie felt but he simply appreciated her for telling him the truth and right there, they ended the relationship.

Dozie traveled to Nigeria and the first place he went to was the office of his father-in-law. On getting there, he laid flat on the floor asking his father-in-law for forgiveness. Mr. Ayeni being a simple man lifted him up and then, told him to have his seat.

Mr. Ayeni: Dozie! How are you doing?

Dozie: Not fine sir, Daddy, I am very sorry for my actions, I am sorry for how I treated my wife

Mr. Ayeni: hmmmmmm, Dozie!

Dozie: (went on his knees) Daddy, find a place in your heart to forgive me.

Mr. Ayeni: Dozie, you hurt my daughter, you reduced her to an unhappy young lady and guess what? She hasn’t told me the cause of your separation despite how close we both are

Dozie: (fell on his feet again) Haaa! Jesus, I said I am sorry. Please, bring my wife back to me.

Mr. Ayeni: it’s alright son. I believe you forgot what I told you the day you came to ask for my consent to marry my daughter, I told you she is my best friend and that if she ever offended you, come straight to me. I was surprised by the way you handled the whole issue.

Dozie: I am very sorry sir, please, forgive me

Mr. Ayeni: it’s alright. I guess we all have to wait for her call. Are you back to Nigeria finally?

Dozie: I may go back, sir

Mr. Ayeni: it is well.

Mrs. Kennedy: Over my dead body! You and that whore will never get back together. Dozie, I am your mother, I carried you in my womb for nine months and you will have to listen to me

Dozie: I appreciate your labor over me, Mom but my family comes first. Mom, you need to understand that I hurt Bisola with my insensitivity. Mom, she is the mother of my children and you have to accept her.

Mrs. Kennedy: Dozie, you are looking for trouble

Dozie: calm down Mommy, no one will get into trouble. We just need to understand things
