“So have you found something?” Romeo spoke to Willow on the phone.

“I haven’t. It’s like she’s gone out of earth” Willow replied.

Romeo sighed out in frustration and it was at that moment that his secretary let Charles into his office.

“Then keep searching. Am really counting on you Willow” Romeo said and ended the call to give Charles his attention.

“Found anything?” Romeo asked.

“I did” Charles replied which got the saddened Romeo feeling hopeful.

“Where is she then? Let’s go there ” Romeo said as he made to get up but Charles stopped him.

“Just seat down and let me finish” Charles said which he did.

“After the fight yesterday and after you left Develene by herself” Charles began.

“I followed her but she only went to a club” Charles added

“She came back home drunk last night and she made a mess but wait a moment. What does Develene have to do with this when you know where Marie is?” Romeo asked.

“That’s because Develene isn’t the one with Marie” Charles replied.

“What do you mean?”

“After watching go into the club, I decided to wait and it was worthwhile cause Develene accomplice showed up” Charles said.

“Who is this accomplice?” Romeo asked.

“Someone who is very close to you, someone you trust. He is none other than Willow, your personal guard” Charles said only for it to stun Romeo into silence.

“You mean Willow took Marie?” Romeo asked when he regained himself and Charles nodded.

“Are you playing with me?” Romeo asked still in disbelief.

“I knew you won’t believe me and that is why I took this picture” Charles said showing him a picture of Willow and Develene at the club.

“When he left Develene. I followed him to a villa which am sure Marie would be ” Charles added.

“This is insane. Just why would willow take Marie? Why?” Romeo asked.

“I believe that will be an unanswered question for us both” Charles replied.

~WILLOW’S VILLA~

Marie sat curled up on the big white bed. After she had been brought in, she had thought that she would be treated roughly but to her surprise she was treated like the mistress of the house.

They gave her food and the maid brought all sort of expensive dress for her and they also help her put it on but the one thing they didn’t allow her do was to leave the room which got her wondering why.

When Romeo left her to go to work, she had told Willow to go do his thing and that she would go to work by herself.

She remembered that she had called a taxi and it was in that taxi that she dozed off. She should have known something was off when she saw the driver putting on a face mask but she didn’t notice.

She woke up in this room and since then she’s never been let out. She knew these people holding her hostage aren’t asking for a ransom because she heard the guards talking.

So why on earth is she being kept here? She miss Romeo and wonder how he is coping with her disappearance.

She had found out that she is pregnant and wanted to share the news with him during lunch but this incident rub her the chance of doing it.

She was crying softly when the door opened and when she saw who it was, she got out of the bed and ran into his arms.

“Thank God you are here Willow. Romeo sent you right! I knew he wouldn’t sit back doing nothing” she said as she pulled away from the hug to stare at him.

“Let’s go quickly before those guards arrive” She said taking hold of his hand but he didn’t move.

“What’s wrong. Let’s go” She said only to be pulled back into his arms which stunned her.

“Willow” she called trying to pull free but he didn’t let go instead she felt his breath on her neck and when his lips touched her neck, she pulled back enough to look at him.

“What are you doing?” She asked.

“Am doing what I should have done a long time ago” he said.

“And what’s that?” Marie asked now feeling scared with the look in his eyes.

“I should have made you mine a long time ago, I shouldn’t have left you alone with Romeo. I thought you two hated each other and that you will keep on hating each other and then I returned to find you and him hopelessly in love? You betrayed me Marie, you betrayed me and my love for you” he said.

How knowing that Willow isn’t someone she could trust. She pushed him away and moved away from him.

“What is wrong with you Willow. Am Romeo wife, your boss wife” Marie said slowly.

“Boss? Yes! Romeo was a boss to me in the past but when you showed up that change. Remember our first meeting, it was at the airport.

Immediately I saw you, I knew you were the one for me but you happened to be engaged to Romeo and when I found out that you weren’t the real daughter of the Taylor family and that you hated Romeo and wanted the whole thing to stop.

“That was me being a friend to you” Marie replied.

The one month leave wasn’t a holiday but instead I was looking for Develene which I succeeded in doing, I thought that once Develene is back you will be free from Romeo and then we can be together but I arrived only to learn that you two are inlove with each other? “This is not my place! My place is Romeo and I love him. I love him Willow so stop this and let me leave” Marie said trying to cajole him but it only angered him because suddenly he to pull off his clothes.

“What are you doing?” Marie asked.
