👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE TWENTY FOUR: ❣️

‘Honey! Honey!! Honey!!!’, I called my wife in distress.

But she wasn’t responding. She was very unconscious.

I began to panic. What has my mother done to my wife? I hope she’s not dead? I asked myself amid fear and panic.

On a keen observation, l noticed that my wife has actually passed out. I had to jerk her up straight to the car and rushed her to the hospital.

As God may have it, she was revived back after intensive treatments.

I asked my wife what happened, she couldn’t talk. She was just crying bitterly.

‘Honey, why do your mother hate me so much?’, she began amid tears.

I opened my mouth but nothing seemed to be coming out. I was speechless. ‘Baby m, I am sorry’, I managed to say.

‘Your mother wants to kill me. What have I done to deserve this ill treatment from her? Why does she resent me so much?’.

‘I am sorry baby’, I kept apologizing.

‘When your mother came, I wanted to help her take her bags inside, but all of a sudden, she sparked like an electric wire and started calling me names upon names. But at one point, I couldn’t take it, so I started talking back to her and the next thing was she used a stool and shattered it on my head. The severe hit came when I least expected it because I was very busy with the house chores when she took me unaware. I managed to drag myself into the room before passing out on the bed’, she said while crying.

‘Honey, stop crying please. I am very sorry for what you passed through in the hand of my mother,’ I paused. ‘Don’t worry, I will handle it’, I concluded.

‘Honey, please don’t fight her. She’s your mother. I want you to handle this with wisdom. So that tomorrow, they will not say that I have turned you against your own mother. At least, let me suffer one — let me endure only the names I am being called.’ She pleaded after observing the anger in me.

‘Don’t worry. I know what to do’, I said. ‘We will be going home today’, I added.

‘I am not going to that house. That place is no longer a home but a he||’, she said.

‘Honey, but we can’t afford to spend yet another night in this hospital again. We have to go home’, I insisted.

‘I can’t go back to that house. Instead, I will go to my father’s house,’ she insisted.

‘No problem’, I said. ‘ Let me be going. I will come back in the evening to take you home. Meanwhile Phyna is coming to keep you busy,’ I said.

‘Bye. Just take care of yourself for me. But please don’t do anything stup|d,’ she said.

I left the hospital and drove home straight. The anger inside of me boiled intensively. How could my mother have done such a thing to my wife? Does she want to k|ll her for me? I asked myself while driving home. As a matter of fact, I managed to hide my anger from my wife because if I had shown her how angry I was for my mother or the action I intend taking, she must find a way to quench my anger. So it was better off that she didn’t stop me, at least, let me handle the situation my own way.

I arrived home, parked my car and dashed into the house like a wounded lion.

‘Mama! Mama!! Mama!!!’, I was shouting while marching into the house.

‘I hope that w|tch is dead. Tell me she’s dead,’ my mother asked immediately as I walked into the sitting room.

‘Mama enough is enough! You are leaving my house today, right now,’ I said while going into her room.

‘My son, are you sending me away from your house?’, she asked.

‘Mama, you have overstayed your welcome. Come and be going’, I said while taking her things to the car.

‘My son, I am not leaving this house until I break the charm that w|tch used on you’, she said.

‘Mama, nobody used a charm on me. Leave us alone, let’s enjoy our marriage..’

‘Marriage without anything to show for, is that one marriage? My son, I am your mother, I am here to save you from that w|tchcraft. Please allow me to help you’, she added.

‘Mama, I don’t need your help. The only help I need from you now is for you to leave my house. Please come and enter the car let me drop you off’, I pleaded with her.

After all said and done, my mother refused to go, that I should come and drag her out. So that it would be in a record that she came to my house and I dragged her out of my house. I talked and pleaded with her all to no avail. Then I was left with no option than to drag her out. Finally, I forced her into my car and immediately dropped her off at my brother’s house.

Meanwhile as all these ugly situations were unfolding, I always updated my brother. As a matter of fact, he was even the person that came up with the idea of me dragging her out of my house after speaking to her on the phone. My brother pleaded with our mother on the phone to leave my house and allow us to have peace in our marriage but she refused. So he was left with no other option than to give me the go ahead order but I should be careful not to go too hard on the old woman.

After dropping my mother off, I headed to the hospital to take my wife home. I told her we were going home but she refused. Then I had to break the news to her that my mother had gone but she didn’t believe me. It took me time to be able to convince my wife that I had sent my mother packing.

‘Baby, I hope you have not done anything stup|d?’, she curiously asked.

    ‘Not at all’, I replied.

‘Them what happened? How did you do it?’, she added.

‘I asked her to leave my house’, I had to lie.

‘And she left just like that?’, she asked.

    I nodded in affirmative.

‘That’s a lie because your mother I know cannot just leave the house like that. Baby, tell me the truth. What happened?,’ she added.

‘I asked her to leave my house but she refused. I reported the situation to my brother imo. And without wasting much time, my brother called her on the phone and pleaded with her to leave us alone but she refused. So I had no other option than to drag her into my car and drop her off at my brother’s house,’ I explained.

‘Honey, was that really necessary? Is there no other way you could do it than dragging?’, she asked.

‘I have exhausted all other options. So dragging her out of the house was the last resort. Though I was very careful, don’t worry’, I explained.

‘I am so worried because the whole thing will fall on me. I will be the one on the receiving end. I will definitely come into the picture,’ she sighed. ‘Tomorrow now, I will be accused of being the one that asked my husband to drag my mother-in-law out of our house,’ she paused. ‘That’s why I wanted to go to my father’s house to stay for the meantime. Then I will be back home whenever she is gone’, my wife bitterly complained.

‘Don’t worry. I dragged my mother out of my house doesn’t mean I was violent per say. No, I handled it maturely. I was very careful with my actions,’ I had to explain to her to calm her down.

After all said and done, I was able to calm the disturbed and worried spirit of my wife.

At the end, we finally left the hospital to go home.

    ****
Finally, my brother came back from his business trip. He wanted to return our mother home immediately by himself but Susan pleaded with him to allow her stay for one more week. It happened that Susan would be having a break from work so she wants to go with her to spend some time with them at home.

I happened to be the happiest man on earth when our mother finally left Lagos with Susan. It was breathtaking news to my wife also. At least, we would be free from her torments because after I have dragged her out from my house, my mother kept coming to my house just to torment my wife. Although I wanted to stop her from visiting me again but my wife insisted on otherwise.

Before my mother left Lagos, she threatened to report me to the Umunna(kinsmen) while my wife to Umu Ada(the association of indigenous daughters of our community) for the way we maltreated her. Though I waved her threat away because I knew it would hold no water.

One fateful day, something bad happened. My brother’s children, twins, were involved in a fatal accident. They were rushed to the hospital amid serious bleeding.

When my brother got the news, he called me immediately. In fact, we almost got to the hospital at the same time.

Meanwhile Susan had heard the news and was already on her way back.

But along the line, the twins were in shortage of blood and there was a need for urgent blood to keep them alive.

The father was called for blood donation to his children.

Then my problem compounded because I knew what was at stake. I watched in great panic as my brother moved into the donation room for the medical procedures.

    But guess what 🤔

    The worst finally happened 🙆‍♂️

👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE TWENTY THREE: ❣️

Lucy got pregnant for me at the early stage of our relationship. It was as a result of our first sexxual encounter. When she broke the news of her pregnancy to me, I felt as if the world was coming to an end. The truth was that neither she nor I was ready for the pregnancy. So we had to ab0rt the baby. The act was on mutual agreement. It was a difficult decision that we had to take.

The baby was flushed out successfully. But the pains were severe. I supported Lucy through those difficult times.

But what I seemed not to understand was if God was now punishing me for my past sins or was it the wish of the enemies coming to pass in my marriage.

How could I be married for the past seven years with nothing to show? Not even a pregnancy not to talk of miscarriage.

Who have I offended? Although I know very well that I have offended God and my elder brother. But everyday of my life, I have asked God for the forgiveness of my sins. Or does it mean my own sins were unforgivable?

Medically, the two of us were sound enough to bear children. Lucy was not barren nor was I not productive. Then what could be the problem?

Just like my parents, Susan didn’t attend my wedding. On my wedding day, she faked sickness just to abscond from the special occasion.

As a matter of fact, Susan could be the one behind my years of childless marriage. I always thought of that. Because she surfaced with threats after my wedding.

‘I am not going to congratulate you because you have not won. So don’t rejoice yet. Although you may be married, but you will definitely not enjoy the marriage without your parent’s blessings.’ I remember her telling me via the phone.

‘Satan, get you behind me. You are nothing but a loser. I am enjoying my marriage and I will continue to enjoy it to the fullest’, I replied.

‘Telling me you are enjoying your marriage is nothing but a lie from the pit of he||. What’s marriage without a child? Steve, I promise you that the cry of a child will never be heard in your household,’ she added.

‘Back to sender’, I rebuked her. ‘Susan, I know that you are ev|l. But let me disappoint you, your evil plan against my marriage will not prosper. You will definitely be put to shame, evil woman’, I said before ending the call.

Susan was really leveraging my marital dispute with my parents to threaten my marriage. She was a big traitor hiding under that umbrella to unleash her ev|ls against my marriage.

Meanwhile our marital plight had earned us several mockery from people most especially from Susan who always called my wife a barren and a w|tch. She also accused my wife of eating up her children in her womb.

My wife has been the one at the receiving end. The childless issue has turned her into a shadow of her former self. She doesn’t sleep at nights; her pillow, always soaked with tears.

I have always done my best to console her but it seemed like my best was not good enough to give her even a little peace.

‘Honey, I am not complaining. So please stop killing yourself. God’s time is the best. Let’s just believe in God. One day, He will surely turn our predicament around’, I would console her.

‘Honey, you wouldn’t understand what I am going through. People are making a mockery of me. They are calling me names. That I am a w|tch and have sacrificed my womb to the coven. That’s why I am unable to give you a child..’, she said while shedding tears bitterly.

‘You are my beautiful wife. You are not a w|tch. Neither are you barren. We have to wait for God’s time. He will surely wipe off our tears someday,‘ I consoled.

‘When will that day be? I am tired of people’s mockeries. I want to carry my child. I want to hear the cry of a baby in this house..’ she cried.

    *****
Meanwhile my mother came to Lagos on a holiday. It was all Susan’s arrangements. She wanted the old woman to come and stay with her, especially now that her husband traveled on a business trip to China.

My mother has spent a week in Lagos already before my wife could muster the courage for us to go welcome her.

It was on a Sunday we finally paid her a visit. When we arrived at my brother’s house, we were partially welcomed. Only If eyes could kill, my mother would have killed my wife with eyes because she resented the fact that I came with her.

Moments later, the twins came into the sitting room and greeted us.

‘Twins, how are you?’, Lucy asked, smiling as the children were playing with her.

    “We are fine ma..’

Amidst my wife’s conversation with the twins, my mother interrupted them.

‘So you are fond of children and you couldn’t give birth to your own? Other people’s children are good to play with while your own are good to be eaten, ehn? Only if at all you have a womb..’ my mother was yelling to my wife.

‘Mama, stop insulting my wife like this. Enough is enough’, I had to intercept.

‘Enough of what, eh? Anyway, it’s not your fault. She has bew|tched you that’s why you cannot think like a man. Thank God I have finally come to Lagos. Steven, you see that spell you are under, I must break it before I go..’

‘Mama stop insulting her. For God sake she’s my wife! Stop it..’, I was yelling when Susan interrupted me.

‘Mr man shut up! Look at who they are trying to save from the hand of this w|tch and you are here saying nonsense’, she said.

I looked at Lucy and her eyes were already clouded with tears. I felt very bad. I had to signal her for us to go.

‘Mama, we are here to greet you but it’s obvious you are not happy to see us. So, we are going’, I said and stood up to join my wife who was already going in a very big shame.

‘You people should better prepare for my coming because my son must be liberated..’, I heard her saying while we were leaving the house.

    Five days later.

I came back from work and looked at my mother in my house. I was really surprised to see her because nobody knew she was coming. That day my wife did not go to work. She was very sick. Her crying and sleepless nights were what contributed to her sickness.

‘Ah, mama, is that you?’, I said in surprise as I came in and looked at her standing akimbo beside the entrance door.

My mother must have done something bad. Because the look on her alone has said it all. You need to see how she was breathing and sweating profusely like a wrestler who just won a match.

‘My son, I am the one. Or has the charm she used on you blind your eyes not to recognize your mother again?’, she said.

‘Mama I hope you have not come here to make trouble?..’

    ‘And so what?’, she interrupted.

‘Mama look, if you are here for your troubles, better be going back o!’, I said.

‘Steven, are you indirectly sending me away from your house?’, she asked.

‘Mama I didn’t say so. But if you don’t behave well, then I will be left with no option than to send you away from my house,’ I made it clear to her.

‘You know why I will not take you seriously? Because you don’t know what you are doing. That w|tch has used her magic powers on you’, she said.

‘Mama please don’t start again. I am begging you in the name of God don’t start this drama again, please’, I begged.

‘Shut up onye eriri-eri(bew|tched someone) But I have come to set you free from that w|tch’, she added.

‘Why are your bags still outside here? Lucy didn’t show you to your room?’, I asked.

‘You mean that w|tch? Anyway, she came but I didn’t allow her to touch any of my things. I was waiting for you to come back and show me my room’, she said.

‘Mama stop calling my wife a w|tch,’ I heaved a heavy sigh before continuing. ‘By the way, where is she?’, I asked.

    ‘Who?’, She asked back.

    ‘My wife’.

‘You mean that w|tch? I have given her a technical knockout. She must be dead by now’, she said, boasting.

I said it. I smell something fishy. This old woman must have done something bad to my wife amid her sickness. I said to myself while rushing to our bedroom.

When I got to the room, unfortunately, my wife was lying unconscious on the bed. In fact, she was half dead.

👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE TWENTY TWO: ❣️

The vehicle that I boarded was the one involved in an accident. It was one of my brother’s cars we drove. We were five in number; all were my friends. Though I wasn’t the person driving; it was one of my friends.

The accident happened as a result of overspeeding and an attempt by the Sienna bus to overtake a vehicle from the rear.

The vehicle was moving at a speed but the driver of the Sienna bus was unaware of the velocity of the speed. He was quite near before discovering. Hence, he swerved to the side and ran into the bush.

Our vehicle behind was also closely following the path of the Sienna bus. There was no distance. As such, my friend lost control of the steering. We also ran into a nearby bush. Our vehicle pulled down two trees in the process.

But as God may have it, no life was lost, not even a scratch. Just that our vehicle was totally damaged.

We informed those at the front what happened and they had to stop and turn back. It was a very big miracle. The other Sienna bus, about two passengers died while others were injured.

My eldest uncle said that if it was in the olden days, that this accident would be interpreted as a bad omen. Therefore, the marriage would be canceled.

However, the thought that kept running through my head was Susan’s threat. Has she done her worst? If so, that means her worst was not good enough. Because the devil really came very late.

We stopped a toying van to move the vehicle back to Lagos while we continued the journey. Thank goodness we had some vacant seats in the other vehicles to fill.

We got to Ibadan successfully. Then lodged in the hotel that day against the following day.

On the D-day, we moved to my Inlaw place in a convoy.

When we arrived, as their tradition required, we were asked to wait outside under the sun. We waited patiently until we were invited in by my wife’s family.

We moved in and sat under a canopy meant for us. Moments later, I was asked to state my intentions and as well to greet my in-laws.

After all said and done, as demanded in Yoruba culture, I moved with my friends to my In Law’s canopy and lay flat on the ground while the women were kneeling.

Shortly after the greeting ritual, Lucy danced in with her friends. You need to see how Lucy looked so astonishing in her traditional iro and buba with gele head gear. Although she was not in uniform with me. She was not expected to wear a similar outfit with me because it was just the introduction to the real thing.

The introduction ceremony came to a success after all said and done. The ceremony was a blast — a mini wedding. The both families met and we got to know each other properly.

At the end, we went back to our hotel. We spent a night in the hotel before leaving for Lagos the following day.

By the special grace of God, we arrived in Lagos safely. Lucy came back with us as well.

Few months later, other rites were fully paid. And the proper wedding was fixed.

I went home and informed my parents. I even bought them many gifts just to know if I would buy their hearts but all to no avail.

‘My son, if the reason you bought me all these gifts is to bribe me to come for your wedding, that means you have failed and I will not come. In fact, take your gifts, I don’t need them. Go and meet those that went with you in the first place,’ my father told me.

After much persuasion, my father refused to accept the gifts I bought for him. It was my mother that accepted hers. But the two still vowed never to bless my marriage, not to talk of attending my wedding.

I traveled back to Lagos very disappointed. As advised by my uncles, I went ahead with the wedding arrangements but I and Lucy kept praying and hoping that my parents’ mind would be changed one day.

One of the first people I specifically invited for my wedding was Mr and Mrs Johnson. The owner of the eatery who promised to play the major sponsorship role in my wedding. I went to his house with Lucy to hand them the invitation. They promised to fulfill their promise.

The wedding finally came and passed. It was a blast. Credit to the Johnson’s family and my brother who assisted financially to see that the wedding was a success.

We got car from Mr and Mrs Johnson and from my brother respectively as wedding gifts.

In one blindingly beautiful whirl of love and emotion and floral arrangements the big day— wedding day— has come and gone as we have successfully recited our vows, partied the night away with loved ones. It was time for a honeymoon.

We jetted off to Dubai for our honeymoon.

We melted away the the wedding stress on our honeymoon. We returned back to Nigeria. It was a long vacation. And It was a wonderful experience to behold.

I must confess, life as a married man was totally a different ball game. It was not an easy ride. But as God may have it, things were going smoothly for us. Thank goodness I had a hardworking wife, a supportive wife and a loving wife beside me.

But after some years into the marriage, things began to fall apart. It was as if people’s negative predictions were coming to pass in my marriage.

👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE TWENTY ONE: ❣️

I know very well that my problem was not my parents but Susan. She was the biggest obstacle that I have to surmount if I have to make Lucy my wife.

Many have advised me to go ahead with the marriage without my parents blessings but deep down me, I needed my parents blessings in my marriage. It’s very important.

So I decided to give it time. We started praying for a miracle of change. I had to also Involve other people to talk to my parents. These people were my uncles and my father’s friends.

While I waited for a positive outcome, I didn’t relent; I had to approach Susan to mend fences with her, to plead with her, to talk to her and make her understand that I needed to move ahead with my life.

I called her and informed her of my coming. That we need to talk. We had an appointment on a Sunday.

That Sunday I went to the house. My brother traveled to the East to have another word with my parents and my uncles.

‘What will I offer you?’, Susan asked.

‘I am okay. Thank you’, I replied.

    ‘Okay’, she replied.

    ‘How is babies?’,I asked

‘Your babies are doing well’, she replied.

‘You mean my nephews?’, I asked.

She smiled and shook her head.

‘But wait o, this one you are behaving well today, is like you are back to your senses?’, she asked.

‘Susan, I am not here for trouble. I want us to talk and iron things out’, I said.

‘Finally, somebody has come back to his senses. So I am hearing you’, she said.

‘Susan, please let me move on with my life. You are married. You have your family. So Please allow me to marry too and start my own family,’ I pleaded.

‘Steve, you are asking for something impossible from me. You are mine and if I don’t have you, no one else will have you, not even Lucy,’ she said with every seriousness.

‘Susan what exactly do you want from me? To remain a sxxx toy to you forever or what?’, I had to ask.

‘I want you all to myself, Steve..’

‘Want me as in how? You are married to my brother for God’s sake na. You should learn to live with him’, I had to interrupt.

‘You are the only man in whom I am well pleased with. I want us together. I am ready to abscond with you to a place where nobody will find us,’ she said.

‘That’s impossible. I can’t do that to my brother. The ground will definitely come after me. We have done enough against him already,’ I said.

‘All I want is my happiness. All I want is for my children to grow up with their father. I want them to know who their real father is. I don’t want them to live with the false impression that Jude is their father’, she said.

‘Susan, no marriage is perfect. Please learn to live with your husband. Allow me to have my own life,’ I advised.

We talked at length. But all my pleadings were not fruitful. Susan was hell-bent on her stand — that If she doesn’t have me, no one else would have me. In fact, I even went down on my knees begging this woman but all of my begging fell on deaf ears. Susan even wanted me to have sxxx with her but I refused to stain my white again with her. We ended up exchanging words with each other that day. I told Susan to her face that I must marry Lucy whether she liked it or not.

My brother and my uncles went together to talk to my parents. But my parents vowed never to release their blessings to us. Even when my uncles threatened to throw their support for me to marry Lucy, my parents insisted that they wouldn’t be part of it. My brother told me that the meeting ended in a querel that day.

Weeks later, my uncles sent for me to come home with my wife-to-be. We took some days off and traveled home to see my uncles. Together, we all traveled to Onitsha to see my parents again. It was a lengthy conversation we had but our talks were as if we were pouring water on a stone. However, me and Lucy had to go down on our knees pleading with my parents all to no avail. My parents’ deaf ears on our pleas got his brothers angry. They went up in flames. At the end, they left angrily.

‘We have accorded you that respect as our brother. But since you have taken us for granted, then watch us throw our full weights to them. He must marry her whether you people like it or not’, my father’s older brother angrily yelled before leaving that day.

We couldn’t even wait for my uncles to go before we left the house as well. We had to spend the night in a hotel before leaving for Lagos the following morning.

‘My son, we are right behind you. Whenever you are ready, inform us and we will go with you to marry her. You have fulfilled all the righteousnesses. So the almighty God and our ancestors will not hold it against you’, my uncles told me in unison when my parents had gone inside their room abandoning us in the sitting room.

We finally had a date for the introduction. We only had about five people coming from the East. They were three of my uncles and two women. They were to fly to Lagos first before setting off to Ibadan for the introduction ceremony. My brother had booked their flight tickets.

Immediately the date was fixed, I called my parents informing them. I also pleaded with them to come join us but they refused my pleading.

One fateful Sunday evening, I was at home alone when I had a knock on my door. I went and opened the door, Lo and behold, it was Susan standing akimbo at the front of my door.

‘What are you doing here?’, I asked.

‘Steve, can’t you even allow me into your house?’, she asked.

‘To do what? Anyway, you are not welcome here.’ I paused. ‘By the way, who gave you the address of my house?’, I had to ask.

‘It doesn’t matter. What matters is I am here now’, she said.

‘What brought you to my house?’, I asked again with a very long face.

‘How dare you going ahead to marry that w|tch even against your parents’ wish?’, she asked.

‘Susan, you are the w|tch here. Because It’s only an ev|l person would vowed to ruin and destroy her fellow human being’s life. But all your ev|l plans have failed’, I said.

‘Don’t rejoice yet because you have not won’, she angrily threatened.

‘I will always be a winner because what’s in me is more than what’s in you. Ev|l woman’, I replied.

‘Steve, like I said before, I will use the last drop of my blood to make sure you never get married to Lucy’, she threatened.

‘Then watch and see me make her my wife’, I said and slammed the door at her.

Two days before my introduction, my people flew into Lagos. I went and picked them from the airport straight to their hotel.

All the necessary things had been put in place. Even the hotel that we all would lodge in Ibadan had been booked down.

On the eve of my introduction, we left Lagos for Ibadan in convoy.

Susan did not go with us. She used her babies as an excuse. She said that one of them was sick. Though I know it was all a lie.

Our journey was going smoothly. We had about five motors with us — three private cars and two buses — conveying family, friends and well-wishers.

But along the line, something terrible happened.

We were involved in an accident.

👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE TWENTY: ❣️

Our journey back to Lagos was a successful one. God was in absolute control of the journey that we arrived home safe and sound.

Lucy wanted to go back home that day but I pleaded with her not to. I asked her to stay with me for the rest of the remaining days. We have a week off from work. Already, we have spent three days. So let her stay with me for the remaining four days instead of going home to cry herself into the trap of sickness. Not only that, her mother wouldn’t find it easy because the outcome of our journey alone would affect her health not to talk of seeing her daughter crying herself out.

I have assured Lucy not to worry herself that what God has written would everly come to pass no matter what. Besides, with my brother’s backing, I know we would come out of all these victoriously.

But of the truth, Susan was indeed frustrating me badly. What does she actually want from me? To remain her sxxxx toy forever? Or to put my brother to the final sword by absconding with her? Nevertheless, I have decided to quit and have a life for myself and nothing would make me go back to her.

I told Lucy that Susan was the brain behind all these mysteries, but she was finding it difficult to believe me.

‘What does she stand to gain by doing all these?’Lucy asked.

‘Because she hates you with passion’, I had to lie to convince her.

‘What have I done to her to deserve the hatred and punishments?’, she asked.

‘Because she doesn’t want me to marry away from our tribe?’, I had to lie again to cover a lie.

    ‘For real?’, she asked.

    ‘Yea,’ I nodded.

‘Even as educated and exposed she’s?’.

‘I am very much disappointed in her’. I said.

‘Ethnicity and tribalism in this present globalization and modernity? Then Susan is nothing but an educated illiterate’, Lucy expressed her anger.

‘I still don’t know why people, because of tribe and cultural differences, stop their children from marrying their heartthrob. They forget that we are first human beings before any tribe, religion or race, which is mostly what is used to psychologically separate us. For God’s sake, nobody is a second-class citizen or inferior to the other, we are all equal and unique for who we are. People intermarry both at national and international levels, so why will my own be different?.’ I paused. ‘But I will not be deterred and I have no regrets by the choice I have made to marry outside of my tribe.’ I had to hug Lucy tightly while whispering into her ear. ‘Baby, I will make you my wife against all odds. But you have to fight this war with me by not giving up on us,’ I assured and begged her.

‘I will not’, she assured me.

‘I love you baby’, I have to remind her of that.

‘I love you too’, she assured me.

That night, we had our first love making ever since we returned home. It was wonderful.

I was very happy knowing fully well that I have regained Lucy’s confidence back again. That we were going to fight together for our union. That she would stand by me even when the path became very rough.

Three days later, my brother came back to Lagos from his business trip. He requested we meet him. This time around, we were not meeting at his house. I was surprised that he wanted us to meet in a hotel. Meanwhile I told my brother that Susan, his wife, was the one feeding our parents lies just to make sure I didn’t marry Lucy. So, probably, he was just being careful.

We met at that hotel and talked at length. He entertained us very well. He assured us, especially Lucy, not to be discouraged with what happened at home. That as long as he was concerned, we would end up together except we decided otherwise. He promised to go home to know what was wrong with those old people at home. That we should go ahead with our marriage plans. He assured us that people at home would be taken care of.

Before we left the hotel for home that day, my brother asked me to call our uncles to inform them. He told me he would be going home the coming weekend. That he would see all of them as well one after the other before coming back to Lagos.

    ****
How Susan managed to buy the heart of my parents was what I still don’t understand. Because my parents were strongly against their marriage. They don’t want my brother to marry from Susan’s side.

I vividly remembered the day my parents gave their reasons why they were against my brother marrying Susan.

‘…My son, Susan’s place is not a place to marry from. Their women don’t make a good wife. Another thing again is that their bride price is very outrageous,’ My father was telling Jude, my brother that day.

‘Papa, I am able and capable of paying whatever they ask for. It will only cost money; not a human head. I have made money. So I am not complaining,’ my brother replied.

‘Another thing is infidelity. Their women don’t stay in their husband’s house; they sleep around especially for money. They are not faithful to their husband especially when things fall apart for the man..’ I also remember my mother telling my brother that day.

‘Mama, that’s nothing but a pure fallacy. I am very much exposed. I don’t believe in those things you people so much believe in. Besides, we find unfaithful wives everywhere. Even in our community here, we have them.’ He paused before continuing: ‘So it’s high time you people kill those fallacies and allow children to marry whomever they love, in respect of their tribe, ethnicity and so on’. He heaved a heavy sigh. ‘All I want from you all is nothing but your prayers and blessings as a parents’, my brother said.

With the support of my uncles, my brother married Susan. Though my parents had no choice than to give them their blessings. But they did that for formality sake; just to fulfill all righteousness. But deep down in their hearts, they didn’t accept Susan.

But now, the love that my parents have for Susan has no boundaries. As a matter of fact, they cherished Susan even more than they cherished their own children. How Susan managed to win the hearts of my parents baffled me so much.

Although Susan was a very manipulative woman. She has a way of getting whatever she wants from people. Though her money always has a way of paving ways for her. And that same money was what she used to buy my parents’ hearts. Though, naturally, Susan has a good heart and she also has a heart of giving.

But I must confess, the way Susan was taking good care of my parents, even we, their children, have not done half of that. My parents were one people Susan doesn’t joke with. The love she was showering to them knew no boundaries. I don’t even know why. Was it because Susan was an orphan and only child of her parents or what?

Susan once told me that she has no one to show love to except my parents and me. Although I am out of the league now. So what I am getting from her now was nothing but hatred and wickedness.

In fact, there were no presents Susan had not given to my parents. Even the car that my father was using, she was the person that gifted it to him on his 70th birthday. She would have done the same to my mother, just that my mother was a fear type who preferred motorcycles more than anything else. So she bought her motorcycle.

Every December, my brother always shared bags of rice to all the widows in our community while Susan also shared bags of rice to all her fellow married women of our clan.

My parents listened to Susan more than anybody else. In fact, Susan was very powerful in our familyhood and beyond.

At times, I think of letting the cat out of the bag. So that my parents would know the truth. But one of the major reasons I got discouraged was that my parents would never believe me; they would believe whatever Susan said.

    ****
Before my brother could travel home the following weekend, I called my uncles one after the other informing them what was going on. They asked me what my brother’s stand was on the issue which I told them. I even told them that my brother planned to come to see them patterning the issue any moment. All of them gave me the same answer: that they have to hear from my brother and my parents before letting me know their stand on the issue as well.

My brother went home and came back after a week with bad news. That he has done everything possible best to convince our parents for their blessings to our marriage all to no avail. That he even exhausted all his plans — first, he came with peace, it didn’t work. Secondly, he applied violence, to no avail. My brother said that despite all his efforts, our parents maintained their ground that they would never give me their blessings.

I was very grieved and pained to the extent that I had to confront Susan. She laughed at me hysterically and told me to my face that she would use the last drop of her blood to make sure that I didn’t marry Lucy.

I came back home angry. I cried so bitterly that day.

What should I do? Should I marry Lucy without my parents’ blessings? I asked myself.

👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE NINE: ❣️

My brother was very happy when I told him I was taking Lucy home. He would have gone with us but because of too tight an engagement he couldn’t. So he gave me money for our flight and other expenses at home.

I appreciated him a lot for always having me at heart. Jude, my brother, was one of a kind. He has been very supportive. I really don’t deserve his kind gesture. Because I stabbed him in the back. I have sinned against him. I have betrayed him. My conscience kept judging me every now and then. But I have to keep everything a secret and carry my cross all alone.

We traveled home by road instead of by air. Lucy was even the one that advised me against taking a flight considering how outrageous the money was. She suggested we go by road and use the remaining change to solve other problems. I saw reason with her. So I decided to go with her idea.

I made a reservation for two seats via a public transport bus. We left Lagos very early in the morning down to the East.

As God may have it, our journey was successful. We got home safe and sound. My mother welcomed us and served us food. We ate to our satisfaction. My father went out but would be back.

Something was wrong. I noticed it. The countenance on my mother’s face was odd. Even the way she welcomed us was not the way she used to welcome me, not to talk of now that I came home with a wife she has been pestering me to bring. Her smiles were all pretense. I know my mother very well — I could tell when she was happy and when she was not happy. And certainly, she was not happy seeing Lucy.

‘Mama, what’s the problem?’,I asked when I visited her in her room.

‘Who’s she, I mean the woman you came with?’, she asked.

‘Oh, she is the chosen person’.

‘I hope that’s not Lucy, the w|tch? If she’s the one, better take her back to where you brought her from’, she yelled.

‘I don’t understand. What do you mean by w|tch?’, I had to ask amid confusion.

‘Oh, you think we don’t know? We know everything that’s happening in Lagos. We know that Lucy is nothing but a w|tch. You are not marrying her o.’ My mother said with opt seriousness.

‘Mama, I don’t know what you are talking about. Please Lucy is not a w|tch. I don’t know who’s feeding you with that nonsens|e. But just know that those lies are coming from a pit of hell.’ I protested.

‘How will you know, whereas she has bew|tched you not to think straight or see clearly again. You better take her back to where you brought her from’, she added.

‘Mama, I have brought home who I want to marry. So let papa come back and see her too. I don’t know what you are talking about.’ I said and left her room to go meet Lucy in my room.

I came and met Lucy very much worried and uncomfortable in my room. She was already having the feeling that something was wrong.

‘Baby, what happened? You mother doesn’t like me, abi?’, she asked.

I was speechless. I kept silent, staring at her confused.

‘It’s fine. She likes you. Everything is fine’, I had to lie.

‘I don’t need a prophet to tell me that your mother doesn’t like me.’ She worridly said. ‘Baby, are mine not likable? Why your mother doesn’t like me?’, she asked with tears.

‘Who told you that my mother doesn’t like you?’, I asked while hugging her.

‘Her reactions and countenance said it all..’ she said, sobbing.

‘Her younger sister had an accident today and was rushed to the hospital. So she’s not finding it easy both physically and emotionally’. I had to lie again.

‘Baby, are you sure or you are just lying to me?’.

‘That’s what she’s telling me inside just now. I am very weak as well.’ I paused ‘Just clean your tears’, I said, deeped hand into my Jeans back pocket, brought out a handkerchief and gave it to her.

‘I am sorry. I hope she’s going to be alright?’, she said while standing up from the bed.

‘She will. But where are you going?’, I asked.

‘Let me go and sympathize with her na’, she replied.

‘Don’t worry. She’s not in the right mood for that now. Just let her be.’ I had to lie again.

    ‘Are you sure?’.

    ‘Yea’.

‘At her state now, she needs someone around her. Let me go and be with her’, she said.

‘Baby come back here and be with me. Leave that old woman. She wants to be alone’, I said to her.

She retreated back very uncomfortable. She really wanted to sympathize with the old woman. She wanted to encourage the old woman. She wanted to go and bring peace into the mind of the old woman. She wanted to go give her hope and as well assure her that her sister would be okay.

‘How do I handle this situation? How do I keep this away from her? Lucy doesn’t deserve this. How I wish my father would give us his blessing..’, I was contemplating.

Amidst the contemplation, my mother called informing me that my father was home.

We had to go to the sitting room to greet my father. Before we could even reach there, they were already waiting for us. When I saw my father’s long face alone, I knew he was up for his own trouble. We greeted him and he beckoned us to have seats.

‘Steven, who did they say you brought into my house?’, he asked. He was speaking Igbo.

‘She’s the woman I want to marry’, I replied, having known what he had in mind.

‘Nne, how are you?’, my father asked Lucy.

‘I am fine, sir,’ she replied.

    ‘What’s your name?’.

    ‘I am Lucy Adeyemi’.

    ‘Where are you from?.’

    ‘I am from Ibadan.’

‘Onye ofe mmanu? A Yoruba?’, he asked.

‘Yes. My father is a Yoruba while my mother is Igbo Delta’.

    ‘Okay. You are welcome.’

    ‘Thank you papa’.

My father kept quiet while my mother was busy murmuring In Igbo.

‘Take her inside your room and come let’s talk’, he instructed me in Igbo language after a while.

I took Lucy inside. I know what my father was up to. I know he doesn’t want to explode In Lucy’s presence. That was why he had to pretend. I had to excuse Lucy to come answer my parents who were still waiting for me in the sitting room.

‘Steven you want to marry onye ofe mmanu(a Yoruba), ehn? It will not happen..’ my mother was yelling.

‘Woman enough!’, my father interrupted. ‘Steven, you cannot marry that lady. She’s evil. We have heard a lot about her..’

‘You have heard a lot from who?’, I had to interrupt him.

‘Telling you who told us is not necessary. What matters now is that she’s a w|tch. Besides, you cannot marry onye ofe mmanu(a Yoruba)’, my mother said.

‘Mama, Lucy is not a w|tch. Stop that false accusation of yours.’

‘My son, It’s very obvious that you are not yourself. She must have bew|tched you. But hear me clear and loud: you are not going to marry her,’ my father said.

‘Nobody bew|tched me. I am very much myself. I am going to marry her’, I made it clear to them.

‘It’s not your fault. You are under the influence of magic powers.’ My mother was yelling.’She has not entered into the familyhood yet but she has already created an enmity between you and brother’s wife, Susan.’ She paused. ‘Steven my son, I will get you a wife. A very good wife for you. But as for that w|cht, you will never marry her’, she said.

‘Look, nobody will stop me from marrying Lucy..’

‘You said what?.’ My father interrupted me, angrily.

‘Papa, mama, nobody is going to stop me from marrying Lu..’

Before I could finish my statement, my father landed a very dirty and hot slap on me. But the slap and attack didn’t stop me from making it clear to them that I must marry Lucy.

In fact, I left the house that night with Lucy. We slept in a hotel before leaving for Lagos the following morning.

That night I called my brother and explained everything to him. He sent me money for flight tickets. That we should be coming back to Lagos immediately.

Our journey back to Lagos was full of anger and pains. I regret ever knowing Susan. Because she must be the person behind the whole thing. She must be the one that has poisoned my parents’ mind towards Lucy.

👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE EIGHTEEN: ❣️

    A fateful Sunday.

I was expecting a guest. The expected guest in my new apartment was Lucy. It was her first time visiting my new apartment. Though she has seen the video and settings of the apartment. She loved the whole thing. As a matter of fact, she was the one that chose the apartment before the payment. My job was to go and inspect, take the video of the place and send it to her for approval. I was happy she finally approved that apartment after her many disapproval.

I moved out of my brother’s house on Sunday morning. Meanwhile I informed Susan, the nursing mother, that I would be moving out of the house on Sunday. Though if it was my wish, I would have left the house without letting her know. But I have to fulfill all righteousness, if not for anything, for the sake she was my elder brother’s wife.

‘I am leaving the house tomorrow. I have gotten an apartment for myself’, I announced.

‘Oh, you have finally rented an apartment just to have the whole time for that witch, eh?’, she said while breastfeeding her babies.

‘Susan, with all due respect, stop insulting Lucy. I don’t like it. Stop it for God sake’, I sounded the warning to her.

‘Shut up! You are nothing but a big fool. Just take a look at yourself. Just a few months after I left your miserab|e life, look at what you have turned into. A shadow of your former self,’ she made jest of me.

‘You are ruining my life. So leave me alone. Dev|l. Or you are angry I have rejected you?,’ I yelled at her angrily.

‘You are indeed the most f00lish human being I have ever seen in my life. Look, if you have rejected the devil, touch not the evil gifts and unclean things from the devil too. You can’t reject the devil and keep the gifts from the devil for yourself’, she giggled. ‘Steven, you will live to regret your decision.’ She added.

I looked at her from head to toes in anger, I shook my head ‘Look, if it’s because of the car you gave me that gives you the ordercity to insult me, take the key, I don’t need it again’, I put hand into my pocket, brought out the car key and threw it at her.

‘I am not poor that I will lick my spit back. Take the keys. I know you desperately need the car’. She paused. ‘But don’t think you have run away from me. I am coming back for you. You have not won.’ She concluded and threw the car key back to me.

We rained insults upon ourselves that very Saturday. Though at the end, I had to go with the car key because I needed it. How I wish I had the money to get myself another car, I would have left the car for Susan.

The stage was set for the surprise at my new home.

It was a surprise proposal I planned.

My decor did a wonderful job by creating an environment that exuded romance, perfecting the backdrop and mood for this exciting and memorable occasion.

You need to see how the decor used a length of organza fabrics, draped along the walls of the room, from ceiling to the floor using push pins to secure it in place. The room was littered with flowers and rose petals scattered throughout the space, along the bed and on the floor. The room was also Illuminated with the soft glow of candles — candelabras and candlesticks were filled with taper candles and placed on tables, shelves and all the ledges in the room. The bed was covered with red velvet to add a softness to the room that plays into the romantic look of the scene.

After the church service, Lucy landed with her car. She came together with Phyna. I watched her from my balcony upstairs as she parked very well. She has seen me already. I pointed to them the way upstairs. They walked upstairs. She looked so beautiful. A clear definition of an epitome of beauty. I had to open the door for them.

‘Wow! The house is beautiful. I love the setting, everything. The decor did a wonderful job. I must say, pictures didn’t do Justice to the beauty of the house and setting of the apartment.’ She said while admiring everywhere.

Just then, Lucy rushed to her department — kitchen. You need to see how she exclaimed amid surprise and joy. The setting of the kitchen was top notch and it got her screaming. I spent money to set up the kitchen to her taste. Though I didn’t tell her that. I wanted to take her by surprise. That I did.

As she was screaming, I had to go meet her in the kitchen. On seeing me, she hugged me tightly in appreciation.

‘Baby’, she called in a soft voice capable of melting a heart. ‘You surprised me here. You didn’t even care to tell me what you are up to. You must have spent a lot. I love the kitchen so much.’ She said while planting a kiss on my lips.

‘Let me see our bedroom’, she said and disengaged from me. She catwalked to the bedroom. I followed her. I had my ring with me in the pocket.

Immediately she entered the bedroom, she was shocked and lost at the same time. Meanwhile I have switched on a love song via Bluetooth speaker. Her favorite song. She couldn’t move forward nor could she move backward. She stood dumbfounded in tears. Tears of joy. Phyna had joined us. I invited her.

Lucy stood absent minded when I tapped her from the back. She turned, Lo and behold, I was already on one knee, gently and softly, I picked my words:

‘Baby, I can’t imagine growing old with anyone else. You’re the only one I want to share the rest of my life with. The story of our love is only beginning. Let’s write our own happy ending.’ I paused. ‘Lucy, my love, will you be my wife?’, I asked, holding my ring, waiting patiently for her ‘yes’.

Lucy was speechless. Shedding tears. ‘Yes! I will marry you’, she stuttered.

I was very excited to the extent I don’t even know when I slided the ring into her finger. We ended it with a hug and a passionate kiss.

‘Baby, guess what’, I whispered into her ear while still holding each other in a tight hug.

‘You know I am not good at guessing. What’s that?’, she replied.

‘I have gotten a job. I received the appointment via an email yesterday night’, I broke the news.

‘It’s a lie.’ She said amid excitement.

‘I am to start work in a week’s time.’

Lucy’s joy overflowed like a River that day. In fact, her excitement knows no boundaries.

It was a hell lot of celebration that Sunday.

    ***
Few months later, I started making arrangements to pay Lucy’s bride price. My brother was even the one pushing me very hard against my planned time. He was ever ready to support me to the fullest.

At some point, I had to take Lucy home for my parents to see her and give us their blessings.

But my journey didn’t end well. It was full of agony.

👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE SEVENTEEN: ❣️

I called the number more than hundred times all to no avail — still not reachable. I had to hold my phone with my two hands like my life depended on it.

I refused to go home at that moment. So I remained at the bar waiting and hoping for the number to call back. However, I kept trying the number every now and then.

Finally, the number called in the evening. It was a flash. So I had to call back. As God may have it, the network permitted us to talk. But the boy’s English was the big problem. Language seemed to be a big barrier. The boy seemed good in the Yoruba language only but I don’t understand yoruba. So I had to give the phone to someone who understood the language very well.

They had a brief talk. He interpreted the whole thing for me. Though the boy could not speak in detail. He just gave out an address for us to come. It was about Lucy.

But whether Lucy was alive or dead, I don’t know.

I drove to Ijebu Ode, Ogun State with my friend who hears and speaks yoruba fluently. When we got to the landmark the boy described for us, I called the number. Luckily, It went through. We spoke with the boy for clear directions to their house. After wandering around, we finally arrived at the place. It was a small compound made of a depleted house. A mud house. It was a village serenity.

Lucy was alive but in a very bad condition. In fact, she was half dead. She couldn’t talk. She had reduced drastically. Although she recognized me very well. I could see it through the smiling face she put on. I shed tears while watching Lucy. She has become the shadow of her former self.

We had a talk with the old man. He lived alone with a little boy. The one that has been speaking to us on the phone. A boy of about twelve years or so. The old man doesn’t speak English; he speaks Yoruba. He was above eighties but very agile. He explained how he and his boy picked Lucy from the river with her hands and legs tied with rope. That she was vomited to the river side by the water. They found her while fishing. With the help of people, he took her home. He has been treating her with herbal medicine all these while. He told us that Lucy has been unconscious for a month, that yesterday was the first time she opened her mouth to talk. That my name was what she has been calling. Though they couldn’t understand what she had been saying because she wasn’t talking clearly. The only thing they could understand was her asking for a phone. They gave her a phone but it took her almost eternity before she could type my phone number and signaled them to call.

I appreciated the old man with a token. I took Lucy to the hospital for intensive treatment. I didn’t tell anyone except Phyna and her mother. Even my own brother, I didn’t tell him. I don’t want Susan to know that Lucy was alive because she was the person I suspected to be behind the whole thing.

The hospital I took Lucy to was far away from Ikeja; a place where nobody knows her. You really need to see the way Lucy’s mother reacted on hearing the news. The poor woman jumped up from her sickbed and became well again. I took her to the hospital where she was staying with her daughter as she was receiving treatments.

Lucy was responding to treatment very well. In fact, there were a lot of changes. Though she has not been able to talk to any of us; she was just staring at everyone in great loss. Doctor said she suffered a severe shock coupled with mental and psychological trauma. But the good news was that she would be fine. The doctor assured us. That it was just a matter of time.

When Lucy finally recovered back, she narrated how she was kidnapped. It was a well organized crime syndicate operation. Everything happened within a few minutes. It all started when she boarded a min-bus that night. The bus had three passengers with her making it four. A young lady sat close to her. Lucy saw when the lady beckoned a guy hawking sachet and table water. She purchased a bottled-water with two hundred naira and asked for a balance of one hundred naira. When the hawker hesitated giving her the balance, the lady bought another bottled-water and offered it to Lucy on the pretext of not wanting to forfeit her balance. Naturally unaware that it had been tampered with, Lucy accepted the water and drank it. After about ten minutes or so, she became drowsy and eventually fell asleep.

Lucy woke up as a captive in an uncomplicated building in an unknown place. She was tortured and starved. Blindfolded all through. Her abductors were receiving instructions from a woman over the phone. After days in captivity, the gang leader got an instruction to kill Lucy and dump her body wherever no one would find her. After all said by the syndicate, her legs were tied together likewise her hands and eyes blindfolded. She was bundled like a heap of waste and thrown inside a very deep river alive to die and be fed by fishes and other aquatic animals.

But as God may have it, the water vomited her out and she was rescued. But the face behind the mask was still unknown.

When Lucy recovered fully well and went back to her father’s house, I told my brother the whole story. He was very happy. He even made out time and paid her a visit. He bought her beverages and also gave her a token.

One day, my brother called me and asked me why Lucy had not visited the house ever since she had a family dinner with us. I told him that she was afraid of his wife, Susan. In fact, I told her everything that has happened between Susan and Lucy without leaving any stone unturned. Even, I told her how Lucy lost her job because of Susan. My brother was very disappointed with his wife. He promised to do something about it. Though I pleaded with him not to fight his wife over it.

After about three days, my brother called to tell me that it was high time I got an apartment for myself so that I would start planning about my life with Lucy. He advised me to plan on how to settle down with her and start a family. My happiness that day knew no bounds. It was as if my brother read my mind. He told me to go all out house hunting and I should let him know whenever I get a place I like. I appreciated him a lot.

Meanwhile Lucy has resumed work. I told her about my discussion with my brother and she was very excited about me getting an apartment of my own. She also helped me submit my CVs for job applications while I was busy hunting for a house.

I finally got a two bedroom flat within ikeja axis and my brother paid for three years rent for me. He also furnished the house to standard.

The day I moved into the house was the day I gave Lucy the biggest surprise of her life. She never saw it coming. The surprise hit her like a thunderbolt that she nearly passed out that day.

👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE SIXTEEN: ❣️

Lucy’s disappearance came days after having a family dinner with us in the house. My brother specifically invited her for dinner on a fateful Sunday.

Susan protested against the idea of hosting Lucy on a dinner but her husband insisted on otherwise.

That Saturday, he had to call us for a round table talk.

‘Susan, what problem do you have with Lucy, Steven’s girlfriend?‘, he asked.

‘She’s not good enough for him..’

    ‘How?’, my brother interrupted.

‘Lagos is not a place to get a good wife. I have known Lucy even before him. However, she’s not good for him. She’s a ‘Runs Girl’. We cannot let him marry a s|ut..’

‘Excuse me’, I had to interrupt Susan. ‘You are not on good terms with Lucy doesn’t give you the right to condemn her. After all, we all have our past..’

‘Steven shut up!’, she cut me short. ‘What do you think you know about Lucy? A green snake in the green grass..’

‘Look, I appreciate your concern’, I had to come in. ‘But I am in love with Lucy. Please stop telling me about her past. I wasn’t there. As a matter of fact, I love what I see now. So stop the hate’. I said, angrily.

‘All I have to say is that Lucy is a good and hardworking young lady. From my assessment of her so far, she will make a good wife for Steven. Besides, Steven is old enough to choose for himself.’ My brother said.

‘Honey, stop saying that. It’s an abomination for an elder to sit at home and watch the she-goat suffer the pain of childbirth tied to a tether. We have to guide his steps so that he wouldn’t make a mistake that he will live to regret’, Susan began, fighting for her selfish interest in disguise.’That girl is very rude. She has no respect and she lacks manners..’

‘Susan, when I wanted to marry you, I never allow anybody to tell me what to do. Thank God you know how my parents never wanted me to marry you. But I stood by my choice and made you my wife against all odds. So we should give them full support. We should encourage them.’ He paused. ‘I don’t like talking about the pasts of people because we all have our own pasts both good and bad.’ He stood up to go inside. ‘I am hosting that young lady tomorrow. Please Susan, make sure you put everything in place’, he said and turned to me. ‘Steven, I hope you told our wife that I am hosting her in my house tomorrow?’, he asked.

    ‘Yes, bro’, I replied.

‘And what was her reply?’, he asked me.

‘She will definitely honor the invitation, bro.’

‘Good’. He said and went upstairs.

We had a wonderful dinner that Sunday. My brother really welcomed Lucy like a queen. But of the truth, Susan wasn’t happy. If she had the chance, she would have po|soned Lucy that day. Although I know that Susan was not that wicked to the extent of taking someone’s life. But be that as it may, I warned Lucy to be very careful and I personally protected her like an egg that very day.

She enjoyed her day and went home. My brother gave her a token for fuel. I saw her off and she was very happy to meet my brother.

It was on the following Wednesday that Lucy went missing.

Lucy went to work that very day but she closed very late. I spoke to her on the phone after I had closed from work that day but she said that she had some work on her table to finish before going home. She complained that her car developed faults that morning. However, she couldn’t go to work with the car that day. I even offered to come pick her up whenever she was done but she declined my request insisting on taking a cab home. We had this discussion around 6:00 pm. After an hour or so, I called and her phone was off. I was very much worried because it’s unusual for her phone to be off.

The following morning I tried Lucy’s number but switched off still. I became very worried. Many bad thoughts were aimlessly racing through my mind. I was weak, so I couldn’t go to work that day. I had to lie that I was sick. I called Phyna but she told me that Lucy had not come to work. That she had tried her number severally but was switched off. My fear intensified. I tried calling Lucy’s mother but her number was not reachable. It was when I was about to leave for Lucy’s house I remembered that her mother traveled to the village. Lucy’s father was no more.

Lucy lost her father years ago to the w|cked hand of death. The man died a painful death. I remember when she was narrating the story of her father’s death to me, she cried bitterly despite the fact that it had been years since she lost him. The memory was green that day as she narrated to me how she walked into the intensive care unit and saw her father wailing and roiling in pain. How he was enduring raw, intrusive medical procedures against his wish. She said that at that moment, all she wanted to do was run, somewhere far, where her father’s cries wouldn’t reach her.

Lucy was an only child. Her father was her best friend, the only person who could love her even when she wasn’t lovable, the one who taught her the rules of living a simply and good life.

Her father died of multiple organ failure with blood and urinary infection. His kidneys, at some point, stopped functioning.

I went to Lucy’s house that day but it was locked. The security man confirmed to me that she hadn’t come home since yesterday. I had to go back home like one whose blood was drained off him. I prayed fervently that nothing should happen to her wherever she could be.

But before dawn, my fear came to pass. Lucy had gone missing. Phyna breaked the sad news to me via the phone.

I went home and attacked Susan like bees. I fought her violently. If not how heavy her pregnancy was, I would have gone physical on her. But I managed to control my anger. Susan denied not knowing Lucy’s whereabouts. That she had no hand in her missing. But I promised her that if at the end it happened she had a hand in it, that I would skin her alive.

With the help of my brother, we reported the matter to the police. Police swung into action. We also reported to radio and television stations and announcements were made every now and then. All social media platforms were on fire as the news went viral like a wildfire.

    All hands were on deck.

We did everything possible best to keep the news away from Lucy’s mother, but blood’s thicker than water. She kept having that feeling that something was wrong with her daughter. To the extent she had to cut her journey short to come back to Lagos. In fact, she took everybody unaware. No one expected her to come back that soon. We had no option than to let her know that her daughter was missing. She slumped on hearing the news and was rushed to the hospital.

The first prime suspect that was arrested was Lucy’s Uber man. Kane. He was the last person she spoke with before her disappearance. Lucy’s call records were tracked with the help of the police and network providers.

After interrogation, Kane was not found guilty. He was innocent. Although he accepted to have spoken with Lucy but due to proximity at that moment, Lucy couldn’t wait for him. That he was at the Lekki when she called.

Kane was later granted bail while the search continued.

Lucy’s mother’s health was seriously deteriorating. The shock of her daughter’s missing affected her very badly.

“Are you sure Lucy is still alive? It’s been two months now,” she would ask me with moist eyes whenever I came around to check up on her.

“She will come home safely. She’s alive. You just have to be strong so that she will meet you alive whenever she comes back.,” I always assured her.

Her health was really failing her everyday by day. She looked tired and confused. She was diabetic, had high blood pressure and cholesterol. But we kept on managing her health and as well consoling her.

In the third month, Susan put to bed bouncing baby boys. Twins. Joy erupted in the atmosphere of our house. My brother threw in a very loud party. Among the large crowd that came to celebrate with us, I happened to be the only unhappy person. How can I be happy while the source of my happiness — Lucy — was nowhere to be found. Even the police were no longer making any effort again. It seemed like everyone had lost hope except me.

This Susan’s disappearance forced me step my foot into places i don’t supposed to go. I visited native doctors to no avail. I visited prophets and prophetesses all to no avail. All they did was to extort me and at the end nothing positive would come out.

I lost my job because of the trauma. Because it affected me psychologically. I hardly go to work, even when I manage to go, I don’t concentrate. So when the management could not take my excesses, they fired me.

At some point, I became habitually drunk almost every day just to save myself from the torment of Lucy’s thoughts.

I was in a beer parlor one morning when my phone rang. I looked and it was a strange number. I had to pick.

    ‘Hello, who’s this?’, I asked.

‘This, Stev?,’the caller asked with a trembling voice.

The voice was that of a little boy. He wasn’t good with English. But I managed to put my ears down to understand him. The network seemed very back.

‘Yes, I am Steven’, I replied.

    ‘Aunty Lucy body here’,he said.

‘Lucy’s body? Death or alive? Where?’, I asked all these questions almost at the same time.

‘An-n-unty’, he managed to say as the network was breaking.’Lu-c-c-cy..’

‘Hello! Hello!! Talk to me .Hello!!! I am hearing you’, I was answering without knowing that the call had ended for a long time, probably due to the network problem.

I tried calling the number back but was not reachable.

👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE FIFTEEN: ❣️

I tiptoed to the toilet to hide, but Susan came and drew me out.

‘Are you madd? He will find you here’, she whispered.

I ran and hid under the bed. Panting heavily like a lizard that fell down from the palm tree.

‘Honey I am coming. I have a running stomach. Hold on for a while’, she deepened her voice and said.

‘Okay, please be fast’, the husband replied.

Under the bed, something struck my mind that he would see me there. I ran out. Confusingly, I ran and hid inside the window curtains. Susan came and drew me out from there and hid me inside the wardrobe.

She comported herself, went and opened the door for him as if nothing happened. I watched from a hole in the wardrobe.

‘Honey, I am sorry for keeping you outside. I have a running stomach and have been purging.’ She said, hugging him.

‘No problem. Just that toilet has been disturbing me too’, he said while disengaging with her to remove his clothes. ‘What happened that nobody is picking his or her calls again in this house? I have called you severally but you are not picking likewise Steven’, he complained.

‘Oh, my phone must be on silent. I have gone to bed already.’ She lied.

Inside the wardrobe, I held my breath tightly while watching and praying for him not to come to keep his clothes in the wardrobe. Thank goodness I left my phone inside my room.

‘You should be in Ondo by now, what happened?’, she asked.

‘I received a call that the appointment will not be held again.’

    ‘Till when?’.

‘Till further notice’. He said while making his way to the wardrobe with his clothes to keep. My heart skipped off me. I nearly passed out at that moment. Just then, Susan stood up and blocked him, requesting to help him keep the clothes.

‘Don’t worry, just give me the clothes and let me hang. Go to the toilet before you will empty the bowels on your body ’, she said, collecting the clothes from him.

‘Thank you’, he appreciated and made way to the toilet while the toothpick in between his two legs dangled.

I took a deep breath and did the sign of the cross like a priest. I watched as he entered the toilet and closed the door. Susan came and opened the door for me. I tiptoed and zoomed off to my room naked while holding my clothes in my hand.

While on my bed, I panted so heavily. What would have become of me if I was caught? What would I have told my brother if I was caught? All these and many more I asked myself until sleep took over me.

The following morning, I went to work.

Meanwhile Lucy has been angry with me. She has refused to pick my calls. As I escaped the lion’s den that night, I came back to my room to see about five missed calls from her. Although I was on call with her when Susan called that night requesting I come to help her out. I had to tell Lucy to end the call with a promise to call her back as soon as possible. She asked what the problem was and I told her Susan was calling me to help her out with something upstairs. ‘Steve, just be careful.’ That was the last thing she said to me before ending the call.

I didn’t talk to Susan before leaving the house that morning. I was very angry with her. It’s all her fault. Imagine if I was caught. In fact, I have refused to pick up her calls in the office as well. I know very well she was calling to apologize.

I was in Lucy’s office when Susan barged in without a knock. She caught me on my knees begging Lucy not to be angry. I don’t even know who told her I was in Lucy’s office. But I was very sure it could be Taiwo.

‘So because of this stup|d girl, you have refused to pick my calls?..’ She ye||ed, losing her manners.

‘Madam, with all due respect, I can’t take it from you coming to my office to insult me.’ Lucy had to come in.

‘You are a very stup|d girl. Haven’t I told you to stay away from him? You shame|ess id|ot. A cheap s|ut’, Susan yel|ed at Lucy.

‘You called me a s|ut? You are the real s|ut shamelessly sleeping around even with your husband’s brother’, Lucy ye||ed back.

How dare Lucy accuse Susan of that? Who told her? Because I can’t remember telling Lucy such. I asked myself while figuring out how to come into the matter.

‘Come on Lucy! How would you say such a thing?’, I had to ask her .

‘Shut up Steve! You people think I don’t know? My conscience doesn’t tell me lies..’

Susan didn’t allow her to finish her statement before landing her a hot slap. Lucy tried to hold it but she couldn’t, she retaliated back even with punches. Two fighting. I started to separate the fight. It gave me a tough time before finally disengaging them. I had to yell at Susan to go back to her office.

The fracas attracted a crowd. Susan angrily left but her clothes were torn likewise that of Lucy.

The following morning, Lucy came to work and saw her sack letter on the table in her office. She cried bitterly that day. I came consoling her but she ye||ed at me to get out of her life and never come back again. That she regretted ever knowing me. That all her years of labour have come to an end because of me. In fact, she put the whole blame on me.

If I tell you that I wasn’t moved, I am a liar; I shedded tears while watching her leave without saying goodbye to anybody. I followed her to her car begging, but the look she gave me spoke of volumes. She nearly knocked me down with her car that day.

I angrily drove home that day and confronted Susan. I ye||ed at her. I really showed her madn£ss that day. I nearly beat her up. Susan could not believe it. Even me, I don’t know what possessed me that day. I would have strangled Susan to death that very day. Thank goodness she ran into their room upstairs and locked the door. I turned the house upside down that day.

    MONTHS LATER

Lucy finally secured another job in a very big hospital. I heard it was a bigger job — far better than her former. I was very happy when I heard the news. I heard it from Phyna, her very good friend and a colleague in her new place of work. Lucy didn’t tell me. She was still madd at me. She blocked me in all her social media channels. I hardly reached her on the phone because she also blocked my lines. Although I have not given up on her. I was still asking for forgiveness. At times, I do block her on her way back from work. Another person I was using to do the pleading was Phyna herself.

Meanwhile, whenever my brother was away from home, you wouldn’t see me staying in the house. I do go far from home to sleep. I squatted with Taiwo. Taiwo rented a room self-contained apartment around Cement. So i was managing his space with him but at times, i do sleep In a hotel due to distance and traffic.

As God may have it, I finally made up with Lucy after a very long time. All kudos to Phyna who made that possible. That fateful Sunday, I went to the eatery where she was hanging out with Phyna. Phyna was the person that gave me the address. As I came in, I went straight to their table, facing Lucy, I went down on my knees pleading. My action caused a stir; It attracted sympathizers who pleaded on my behalf right from their tables. Many reached out for their phones to cover the whole drama. Lucy stood up, in shame, she offered me a helping hand to stand up. The whole thing ended up with a romant|c hug and passionate k|ss to the amusement of the onlookers who went into a loud applause.

The owner of the eatery was there live witnessing the drama with his wife. They had to walk to us in amusement. They were very impressed. In fact, he handed me his complimentary card and promised to pay for whatever we eat that day. On finding out we were not husband and wife yet, he pledged to sponsor our wedding whenever we were ready to take our relationship to the next level. You need to see the loud applause that day.

The news of the whole thing flooded the whole of social media. Our pictures and videos were posted in every timeline of social media. Our news also made waves in television and radio channels. To the extent we were invited for interviews by many television and radio stations.

In fact, we became celebrities overnight. Many people were very happy for us except Susan. She seemed very sad about the development. She started losing weight every day by day. But my brother was the happiest person on earth.

We enjoyed both the fame, spotlight and the relationship.

But at a point, our joy turned into a nightmare and sadness.

    Lucy went missing.

👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE FOURTEEN: ❣️

The unexpected happened the following week. It was on Saturday afternoon. Susan and I went to work. Along the line, my phone rang and it was my brother. I picked up the call. He said that he wanted to see me at home with immediate effect. Unlike him, he didn’t even ask me how the work was going. The harshness in his voice alone spoke volumes. The urgency of the call showed that something was obviously wrong. My breath immediately ceased.

‘Jude, what’s the problem?’, I managed to ask amid panic.

‘Don’t question me. Steven I want to see you at home now’, he said and ended the call.

I stood stranded. Many thoughts raced through my head. Despite the air conditioning, I sweat profusely. After much thought, I couldn’t still phantom what the problem could be. But my mind kept telling me that he had found out that his wife’s pregnancy wasn’t his. I was panicking. Shivering. You need to see how the shirt I was putting on was drenched with sweat.

‘God! What have I gotten myself into? What will I tell him? My brother will skin me alive!’,I was talking to myself. ‘Should I run away from here? Go to a place where no one knows me and never come back again..’

I was still wallowing in the ocean of thought when an idea striked through my mind — to call Susan first and know if she had an idea of what was going on. I reached for my phone and dialed her number. But she didn’t pick. I called about five times and all to no avail. I slumped back to the chair to think. I have been standing up all this while. But I couldn’t concentrate enough to think; there was a total blackout in my head.

At one point, I had to try Susan’s line again but she refused picking. I dialed my brother’s line and he picked with immediate effect as if he was waiting for my call. I could hear noises in the background.

‘Are you home?’, he asked, ignoring what I was asking him.

‘N-n-no’, I stammered. ‘But is anything the problem?’, I managed to ask.

‘Steven stop asking questions. I want to see you at home now’, he authoritatively said and hung up the call.

‘I am doomed.’ I said to myself while calling Susan again. But she didn’t pick.

‘Stevo, what’s the problem?’,Taiwo had to ask after a long observation.

    ‘Nothing’, I managed to reply.

‘Steve, you can’t tell me nothing while It’s very obvious you are in trouble; it’s written all over you’, Taiwo said.

‘Taiwo mind your business. Please leave me alone’, I yelled at him, scratching my head like one who recently ran madd.

Immediately, I surged up with a great force like a big masquerade. Straight, I headed to Susan’s office. On getting there, I was told that she was in the operating theater room in an emergency.

I dashed out like a maad dog and headed home immediately. I was already inside the bus when I remembered I should have gone with my car. Even, I left my second phone at the office. In fact, I was very disorganized like a woman who just lost her dare husband.

I was already close to the house when my phone rang. Behold, it was Susan. I picked it up immediately.

‘Susan, there’s fire on the mountain. It seemed like he had found out the whole thing. You need to see the anger in his voice when he asked me to come home over the phone’, I managed to tell Susan.

‘Impossible..’. Susan sounded so confidently on the phone.

‘I am telling you something and you are saying it’s impossible’, I said, panicking.

Susan kept quiet. I could hear her heartbeat over the phone. I sensed her panicking too.

‘Are you sure?’, Susan asked in a cracking voice.

‘Of course. Didn’t he call you?’, I asked.

‘I am seeing about six of his missed calls here’, she said.

‘Jesus!’, I shouted. ‘Susan you have killed me. Look at what you have done to me..’

‘Shut up! You better comport yourself there, go and know why he’s calling you. Don’t do anything stup|d that would implicate us.’ She paused. ‘End the call now. Let me answer him. He’s calling me.’

Afar, I was hearing people’s voices. When I came into the house, there were only a few faces that I was familiar with, the rest, I don’t know their faces. But I guess they were my brother’s friends. I went straight inside the house, panicking. I didn’t even greet anybody as I wasn’t myself; I couldn’t think straight. My brother was in the sitting room having a talk with some friends. He wasn’t smiling. I went to him and he asked me to wait for him upstairs.

You need to see how I was pushing myself upstairs as I couldn’t climb the staircase with ease. It was as if the whole of my blood was drained off me. The whole of my body was intensively shaking, especially my legs like one who was just revived from the severe damage of electrocution.

I waited for him upstairs in great panic. I was of the wish for the ground to open and swallow me. I shouldn’t have come back home to honor his call. I should have run away from the office. I said to myself. My phone kept on ringing but I couldn’t pick. I had no strength for the phone — I was just staring at the calls absentmindedly. Susan called. My brother also called.

I was totally lost in thoughts. It was when I heard a loud noise outside that my consciousness came back. The noise was emanating from outside of the compound. At the car park to be precise. I had to rush downstairs to know what the problem was.

When I got to the sitting room, nobody was there. I pushed open the central door and stepped outside. Lo and behold, look at Susan jumping up and down in excitement as congratulations rolled to her in order. In total loss, I drew myself closer to the small gathering to know what was going on. Meanwhile the panic in me had left, the seconds I found out that the occasion was that of joy; contrary to my initial fear.

‘I have been calling you to come join us but you are not picking.’ My brother told me in joy, pointing at a ride. ‘The car, a surprise present to my wife. I just want to thank her because she’s about to make me a dad. I wanted to take you all unaware. Sorry for the inconveniences’, he said while turning to receive his own shares of the congratulations.

I shook my head in relief and heaved out a heavy deep sigh. I slumped on a chair to catch my breath and calm my nerves.

Just then, Susan came and handed a box to me ‘Take, it’s for you. My husband got it for you.’ She said. You need to see the look she gave me and left.

‘Thank God I survived it’, I said while joining the merriment inside the sitting room with my box of gift. It was a phone. The phone he promised me for a very long time ago.

The following day being Sunday, my brother embarked on a short journey to Ondo State. It was a business trip. In fact, I was the person that dropped him off at the airport while Susan was at home preparing the Sunday ritual — white rice and stew.

I dropped him off and returned home immediately. Though his flight was scheduled to take off around 4:00 pm. But he had to leave early to catch up with an appointment at the airport vicinity before leaving.

Susan was done with cooking before I returned. She served food for us to eat.

‘Why do you panic like a woman?’, she asked, defiling the table manner.

‘Don’t pretend as if you didn’t panic when he must have asked you to come home’, I replied.

‘You are right.’ She said laughing. ‘The urgency of the call forced me into panic. You worsen the whole matter by refusing to pick up my calls. I called you more than ten times all to no avail’, she said.

‘I was upstairs then. He asked me to wait for him there. I was actually staring at the phone absentmindedly when it was ringing but I couldn’t pick it up. I wasn’t myself.’ I explained.

‘But thank God it ended well — contrary to what we all thought. I now have a new car. I am very happy right now’, she said.

    ‘Congratulations ‘, I added.

‘Thank you. This winning called for a special celebration this night’, she whispered into my ears.

‘Allow me to be healed from today’s mental and emotional strain before you will put me into another one’, I said, resistantly.

At night, I had already gone to bed when my phone rang. It was Susan calling. I picked. She pleaded I come upstairs to help her with something. After much resistance, she persuaded me to come. She promised that it wasn’t what I was thinking. That she needed my help urgently.

Reluctantly, I climbed upstairs. When I came into their room, she complained of back pains and pleaded I help her with a message. I hissed but she pleaded and pleaded. I had to help.

Amid of the messaging, one thing led to another, we ended up into l0ve mak|ng. Slow and steady, I was thrusting my dIckk into her v|g|na. It was a pleasurable experience despite my tiredness. I must confess, Susan’s v|g|na was the tightest and sweetest I have ever fuckkked in my life.

It was in the middle of the enjoyment that we heard a knock on the room door.

‘Who’s that?’, Susan managed to ask in the peak of the enjoyment.

‘It’s me honey’, the voice echoed.

That was my brother’s voice. He was the one at the door. I mean their matrimonial room door. The only door to the room that we were def!lling and polluting. Immediately, Susan pushed me off her. My d|ck had run inside just like a tortoise met with a harmful animal in a sudden. How come? How managed? Those were the questions I was asking myself. I then remembered that he had the spare keys to the house and he always traveled with them in case of necessity.

‘I am coming. I am inside the toilet’, Susan said when his knock was persistent. She had to lie to buy more time while I ran helter- skelter in great confusion on a verg hope of finding a way out.

But no way out for me!

👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE THIRTEEN: ❣️

The day I confronted Susan on the pregnancy issue was on Sunday. That day we sat in the sitting room watching a movie.

The ‘Who’s responsible for the pregnancy’ question seemed to be a very difficult one for her to answer. She kept quiet, staring at me with pity. My heartbeat was very high. My curiosity intensified. Let it not be true. Let it not be I am responsible. I said to myself while looking into her eyes. I saw a faint of disappointment in her eyes. I saw a faint of regret. I saw a faint of pity also.

‘Susan, please answer me. Who is responsible for the pregnancy?’, I had to ask again amid curiosity.

She heaved a heavy sigh before beginning to speak: ‘Who is responsible doesn’t matter. All that matters is that I am pregnant’. She confidently said.

    ‘I-I-I don’t get it’, I stammered, panicking.

She looked at me and giggled. ‘Steve, don’t panic. I am in control. Be rest assured that I will not do anything that will put you in harm your relationship with your brother. Don’t worry, I will handle it.’ She confidently assured me.

‘How do you intend to handle it?’, I said, relaxing a little bit.

‘I will pin the pregnancy on my husband’, she added.

‘How? Wouldn’t he find out because he hardly had time for you?’.

‘Yes, he hardly had time for me. But he sleeps with me also. So it’s an easy thing to do. He wouldn’t even suspect anything.’ She said.

I paused while contemplating the whole thing. While, to some extent , Susan was very correct. Because they do have sxx aswell. So it would be very hard for him to suspect. Besides, my brother hardly spent more than a month away from home without coming home to check up on us.

‘Steve, I know that a day like this will come. Although I have prepared for it’, Susan had to break the long silence.

‘What do you mean by that?’, I asked.

‘Whenever I made l0ve with you, I made sure I slept with him also provided he’s home. Sometimes, after making l0ve with you, I had to force myself to sleep with him too. You know why?’. She asked.

‘ To balance the equation in case of necessity.’ I replied.

‘Exactly.’ She paused before continuing: ‘So that if a day like this eventually came, he will not see any suspicious trace even though he decides to do the calculations himself. Although I know your brother is not that clever enough to go into such mathematics,’ she concluded.

I took a deep breath to calm my nerves before continuing staring at Susan in disbelief. Although I wasn’t that totally surprised because I know Susan already. She’s a very clever lady. She was this genius type who always thought ahead of something before going into it in order not to be caught off guard. In fact, whosoever that’s dealing with her, she’s always two steps ahead of the person.

‘Sometimes, I wonder if truly you are a human being. Because you are very clever to the core’, I had to heap praises on her.

‘I am a genius. I am a special creature. In fact, there are so many things you don’t know about me.’ She said.

I have had enough for the day. So I didn’t bother asking her the things I don’t know about her. Though I actually thought I knew her very well.

‘Even, why are we doing this? It’s very wrong. What we are doing is an atrocity against God and man’, I said, keeping a face full of guilt with a heart ready for repentance only if Susan would see reason with me.

‘I am very sorry for putting you into this. It’s all my fault. But you will not totally blame me. We all have a share in this including your brother who has the lionshare of the blame.’ She sighed before continuing. ‘Steve, I am a lady with a high sexxual libido. My husband is not helping the matter. He doesn’t have time for me. All he is after are his business and politics. Even when he has a little time for me, he doesn’t satisfy me sexxually. In fact, he is not sexxually active as a man. He will put me in the mood and abandon me halfway. His d|ck is so tiny that it cannot even drill a quarter of my hole. The major problem is that I can’t see myself cheating on him with an outsider. That’s why it has to be you; an insider’, she explained.

‘If I tell you that I don’t understand your pains that means I am a liar.’ I paused. ‘But there’s no justification for a sin’, i added.

‘We are all sinners. We dwell in sin every now and then. We were born into a sinful word. But I know God will have mercy on us.’ She paused. ‘Steve, I am not letting you go anytime soon. I am sorry,’ she concluded.

I had Susan loud and clear. That she’s not letting me go anytime soon. Though I chose not to reply to her. You know why? I had my own plans as well. Just that money has been the major factor stopping me from not carrying out my plans for a long time.

So I had to continue dancing to her tone until I achieved what I wanted to perfect my plans.

Every now and then, I was praying to God to see me through this pregnancy of a thing and aswell save me from the hand of Susan.

My brother finally returned home after spending a long time in the East.

Meanwhile Susan planned to break the news of her pregnancy to him in a very romant|c and surprising way. She wanted to serve it to him as a lunch on a Sunday — to put the medical report confirming her pregnancy inside the plate of food so that when he opened the plate he would see the result.

But Susan ended up breaking the news during the family dinner one Sunday. She announced it to the hearing of everyone. The reason she couldn’t break the news as she earlier planned was that her husband was not romant|c. Susan doesn’t want to get angry him. So she avoided anything that would provoke her. Because her husband doesn’t reciprocate back with the same energy when it comes to being romant|c. You know very well the relationship of a wealthy igboman and romanticness — very bad.

You really needed to see the way my brother jumped up in joy on hearing the news. Halfway, he had to pause requesting for the test result. He eagerly unveiled the pregnancy test result and jumped for joy again the second he confirmed on the report that his wife was truly pregnant..not a kind of prank.

‘We’ve been praying for this day and it’s finally here. I love this woman with every ounce of my being and I can’t wait to repay her back for I am about becoming a father. My brother, join me to God for this miracle.’ He said to me amid tears of joy.

That Sunday, the family dinner turned into a very big party.

But along the line, something happened. The unexpected hit everyone like a thunderbolt..

👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE ONE: ❣️

That day at my place of work, joy and happiness In me overflowed like a river. You really need to see how I was carrying out my duties happily. My face, for a second, never lacked a smile. I maintained a smiling face throughout. My good time with Lucy last night dominated my gallery of memories.

I have never been this happy for a very long time. I must confess, I enjoyed myself last night. What I had with Lucy last night was a love mak|ng while what I have been having with Susan was nothing but s£x. It was quite two different experiences. With Lucy, I felt more comfortable and safe than I do while having it with Susan.

‘Stevo, I don’t understand. What’s happening?’, Taiwo, my colleague, asked.

‘Happening as in how?’, I had to ask.

‘I have never seen you this happy. What’s going on my guy? Did you receive a credit alert from your bank? Or you won a lottery?’, he asked.

‘My brother, I didn’t receive any alert o’, I said amid laughter.

‘Or you have received your salary?’.

‘Salary, in the middle of the month?’, I asked.

‘What do you want me to say?’, he paused. ‘‘Because your happiness is not ordinary. Something good is definitely behind it.’

‘My brother, I am just happy. I woke up this morning on the good side of the bed’, I said. Though I don’t want to tell him the secret. Secondly, I have agreed with Lucy to keep our relationship on the low because it’s against the ethics of the organization.

‘Stevo, tell me the secret o! If you have landed a jackpot, share it with your guy. No hide update o!’. Taiwo kept on pressing.

‘My guy, nothing o! Man is just trying to be happy. They say the secret of living long is happiness’, I said, laughing.

‘Na wa o! I am just jealous of your happiness this morning. If I am not mistaken, Steve, the number of songs that have come out from your mouth this morning is more than a hundred. Not only that o, the way you are even dancing to it is another mind blowing.’ He said, smiling.

‘My brother, that’s the energy that today birthed. So let me live it to the fullest..’

We continued the conversation until Susan came and interrupted us. She has sent for me many times and I refused to show up so she decided to come herself. I know she must have been calling my line but because of her, I had to put my phone on in flight mode.

‘Good morning ma’, I greeted her.

‘Good morning. How are you?’, she replied, asking.

‘As you can see, I am good,’ I said, boasting.

‘Steve, what’s the problem? I have sent for you several times, or didn’t you get my messages?’, she asked In a very pitiful voice.

‘Susan, I got your messages actually. But as you can see, I have been very busy since morning. That’s why you have not seen me’. I replied to her. Thank goodness she met me working.

‘I am expecting you. Please don’t keep me waiting for long’, she pleaded and left.

At my pleased time, I went to see Susan in her office. As I came in, she locked the door and went down on her knees crying. She pleaded I forgive her and come home. She told me that ever since I left home that she hasn’t been herself. That she has not been able to eat well. Though she wasn’t lying because she has reduced drastically. She really cried bitterly begging me that day. You really need to see how she was promising me heaven on earth on a verge hope of appeasing and as well enticing me into coming back.

The fact remains that I can’t keep running away from home. Another thing was this: If my brother found out that I had been sleeping in the hotel, he wouldn’t be happy with me. Though his wife, Susan, would be the one at the receiving end. Even Lucy had advised me to go home. That I should also have a discussion with Susan.

Another thought I nursed was the idea of staying alone on my own. But life in Lagos, especially that of Ikeja, was far above my pocket. I have even made inquiries about renting a room and parlor apartment but the money was very outrageous. I couldn’t afford it. So I had no other option than to go back home.

I made a promise to Susan that I would come home that very day. At first, she refused to believe me until I convinced her otherwise. As a matter of fact, I had to lead her to my car to transload my clothes into her own car before she finally believed I was actually coming home that day. You need to see how she hugged me. That hug alone really showed how much she has missed me.

Susan took me out and bought lunch for me that very day. You need to see the way she was happy. In fact, she seemed to be happier than me who found a new love in Lucy. But of the fact, she treated me like a king within that short period of the break.

Susan left the office before me that very day. She went and prepared for my homecoming. I came back a little late because I had to spend some time with Lucy before going home. When I finally drove into the house and packed my car, you need to see how she jumped on me like a child whose mother just returned back from the market. She followed me up and down as if I was going to run away at any slightest opportunity. What Susan didn’t have the opportunity to do for me that very day was to bathe me. Though I was the one that stopped her from doing so because she wanted to follow me to the bathroom.

When I was done freshening up, I went to meet her in the sitting room. She led me to the dining section and spoiled me with food. A delicious meal. My favorite: Bitterleaf soup and fufu.

Susan was a great cook. She’s so good at preparing local delicacies. In fact, she was this type of a woman who knows how to alter the ingredients of a certain type of recipe and it would match the taste buds. For the past two days I went into exile, I really missed Susan’s food. That was what I missed a lot.

That very night, Susan also gave me presents. The particular gift that got me madd was the phone. The latest iPhone. My dream phone. Although I never asked her for a phone, but she knew that I was a phone freak and I must have had an eye for it because It was barely a month ago that the phone came out. A very expensive phone. I hugged her in appreciation.

Susan was a very manipulative woman. She always knows how to have her way with me. We ended up making l0ve that night. I couldn’t say no to her advance that night. In fact, I would be very ungrateful if I didn’t reciprocate to her sxxual advances that night having been given such presents worth more than half a million naira.

    FEW MONTHS LATER:

I have tried to cut off my sxxual relationship with Susan but all to no avail because every time she wanted me and came for it, I would completely shut down and abided by her demand. She had my ‘mumu button’ in her palms. I don’t know how she does it. Susan alway knew how to get what she wanted from me anytime and anywhere. At times, she would leave her husband in their bedroom and sneak into my room In the middle of night just to have sxx.

At some point, I began to notice some changes in Susan’s body. She seemed to be pregnant. I was not really sure of that but the signs were that of pregnancy. Though she didn’t tell me and I didn’t bother to ask her as I was still observing her keenly to be fully sure. Even at that, we kept having sxx.

It got to the point where I was totally convinced that Susan was pregnant. I was really worried about the whole thing. Guilty tormented my conscience severely. What if I was the one responsible for the pregnancy because we never for one day used protection? Because whenever I brought the idea of a cond0m, Susan would kick against it. As such, we always engaged in it raw.

Amid the worry and disturbance, I had to approach Susan on the issue one day.

    ‘Susan, you are pregnant?’.

‘How do you know?’, she asked in surprise.

‘I am not a child. Besides, I am a medical practitioner. So why wouldn’t I know?’.

‘I am pregnant’, she broke the news reluctantly with panic fully written all over her.

‘Susan, who’s responsible?’, I asked, panicking.

👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE ELEVEN: ❣️

Lucy didn’t see Susan coming. It was me that sighted her from afar. To avoid embarrassment, I let Lucy go. So before Susan could get to the scene, Lucy had left.

‘Steve, I have warned you to stay off that girl. I don’t want to be seeing you with her’, she yelled.

‘Susan why are you controlling me like a little child. I am not your husband for God’s sake. Allow me to live my life on my own terms’, I pleaded and yelled at her.

‘Steve, you must be mad for talking back at me in such a manner. Do not push me to the wall.’ She angrily said.

‘I am not mad. Susan, you are taking this thing too far. Allow me to live my life. I am your brother’s wife or do you want to marry two brothers at the same time? So..’

‘Steve you are very stup|d. You are madd’. Susan angrily interrupted me and landed a hot slap on my cheek. Then, left.

I couldn’t believe Susan would do that. This was the first time Susan slapped me. I stood stranded. I was totally confused. I was boiling in anger. I couldn’t go back nor could I go front as I stood bleeding in anger.

‘What nonsense is this? I am totally in a big mess. What have I done to myself?’, I asked myself while trying to put my head together.

That day I ended up not going back home. I slept in a hotel. Thank goodness I had some clothes in my car I collected from my dry cleaner. That night Susan nearly ran my phone battery down with calls to the extent I had to block her line. I drank myself into a stupor to be able to sleep.

I went to work the following day very late. I didn’t even know when the day broke. I really drank so much that night. It was already 9:00 am when I woke up. I couldn’t take my bath that morning because time was against me. So I rushed off to work. In fact, I went to work very disorganized. I was also under a severe hangover that morning.

When I reached to work, I was told that Susan had checked up on me twice. She even dropped a message saying I should come and see her at the office. I ignored the message. I didn’t go. Instead, I went to congratulate Lucy in her new office. She just got promoted.

I knocked. She asked me to come in. Then I pushed the door open and went in. The beauty of the office caught my attention. I looked around in admiration while Lucy was busy staring at me from head to toes.

‘Hey, how are you?’, I asked while taking my seat.

‘I am good,’ she replied with her gaze still fixed on me.

    ‘Big congratulations’, I added.

    ‘Thank you’.

‘Nice office you have here’, I said while still taking a look around.

‘Yea, thanks.’ She paused. ‘You looked stressed. Did you sleep at home at all?’, she asked with her eyes firmly fixed on me.

I couldn’t talk. I buried myself in shame.

‘Have your mistress sent you out of the house?’, she had to ask again.

‘It’s a long story Lucy.’ I heaved a sigh. ‘This place is not convenient for us to talk about it’, I said worriedly.

‘Okay, we talk later then?’, she asked, staring at me in disgust.

    ‘Yea’, I nodded.

‘You smell alcohol. Steve, you drank a lot last night? Even, you woke up with a hangover?’, she predicted.

‘Lucy, you are right. I am just going through a lot‘. I replied, putting up a pitiful face.

‘Don’t worry, it’s gonna be fine’, she consoled me. ‘We will talk about it later’. She added.

‘Thank you. But that doesn’t stop you from buying me a drink today. Because your promotion called for a big celebration’. I chipped in.

    ‘No problem.’ She said, smiling.

‘Big congratulations once again’, I said before leaving her office.

Lucy was promoted to the position of laboratory manager. She was responsible for oversight of the day-to-day laboratory operations as well as the personnel conducting the tests and reporting results.

Susan came to meet me that day and pleaded I meet with her. I told her that I would come see her. I went to see her at her office later that day. She pleaded I forgive her and come back to the house. She talked about how she missed me. This and that. She even went down on her knees begging me. I promised Susan that I would come back home.

Though I know deep down inside me that I wasn’t going home that day. Because Lucy promised to come to my hotel after work for us to talk and as well celebrate her promotion. So let me capitalize on that opportunity to have a quiet time with her without Susan’s disturbance.

I left work very early that day. I told Lucy the hotel I lodged at and thank goodness she knew the place very well. She later came over. I had to switch my phone off because Susan had been calling.

I explained to Lucy the whole thing. Though I lied to her. I didn’t tell her about my intimacy with Susan, my brother’s wife. I only told her how she has been policing me like a child all in the name of protecting me against the Lagos girls. How she doesn’t want to see me around women, her reason being that women would ruin my life.

‘The major one that forced me out of the house was her slapping me.’ I said.

‘She slapped you?’, she asked in great surprise.

    ‘Yea’, I nodded.

‘How? What happened?’,Lucy asked in curiosity.

‘Because she saw me and you together..’.

‘The day you accosted me after work, right?’, she interrupted.

‘Exactly.’ I said in great surprise.’How did you know’.

‘I sighted her coming even before you did. Her countenance alone showed she was up for trouble. That was the major reason I left In a hurry that day’, she explained.

‘My dear, I am just tired of the whole thing. Susan is policing me like a little child. It’s very frustrating.’ I said.

‘Well, she means well for you. She’s just practicing a mother-role on you.’ She paused before continuing. ‘Just that she’s overdoing it. But you really need to talk to her. Let her understand that she’s overdoing it..’

‘I am just tired. I even don’t know how else to talk to her again. Because I have done that time without numbers all to no avail. Susan always sees me like a little child. I have even let her know that I am a mature man that has to get married someday.’ I paused. ‘Do you know what she said?..’

    ‘What?’.

‘She said that there’s time for everything. That the time I am into now is time to focus on my career and make good use of it now. However , when the time for marriage comes, I would see a wife to marry…’

We talked at length. We popped champagne in celebration of her promotion. We ate amid the celebration. Then, at the right time, I finally professed my love for her. Guess what? She accepted me right away. Though I know very well it would be a smooth journey for me because we were already in love with each other. We fell in love at the very first sight. We had quality time together that day. In fact, we made love. She even spent the night with me at the hotel.

The next day, we went to work together happily. She had spare clothes in her car that she picked up from her dry cleaner.

👫 My Sexcapedes EPISODE TEN: ❣️

I woke up only to find myself in a hospital bed. When I looked around, I couldn’t believe who I saw sitting beside me. It was Jude, my brother.

‘Jude, are you really the one? Are you okay?’, I almost asked him two questions at the same time.

‘I should be the one asking you if you are okay’, he said, observing me.

‘What are mine doing here?’, I asked him because I couldn’t remember how I got to the hospital.

‘You passed out. The doctor said that it was a shock.’ He explained.

I remained silent. I opened my mouth to say a word but nothing seemed to be coming out.

‘Steven, is there anything you are not telling me? Talk to me, I am your brother. Are you really okay?’, he pressed.

‘Nothing. Just that I have not been finding it easy with my new job. Somehow stressful.’ I had to lie.

‘The Doctor said that you needed a rest’, he said.

‘Okay. What about Susan?’, I asked.

‘She just left now to get you something to eat’, he explained.

‘Steve, I have told you to join me in business but you refused. Now look at what you have caused yourself all in the name of office work. If that job is stressful, you better resign now’, he added.

‘No, I will be fine. You know, every first time always comes with its difficulties. But I will soon adapt.’ I had to lie again.

‘His Excellency requires my presence with immediate effect. I am leaving for the East any moment from now.’ He said.

‘You just returned from China today and you are traveling again. Can’t you have a rest for one day?’, I asked.

‘Man has no relationship with rest in life except in his grave.’ He said.

‘My major concern is for you not to break down one day’, I said.

Amid the conversation, Susan walked in with a nylon. I looked at her face and saw the disappointment she wore. I pretended and remained calm.

‘Honey, he’s complaining about the job. He said the job is stressful.’ He paused. ‘If the job is going to be a threat to his health, he better resign. Earlier the better. I can’t afford to lose him because he’s the only blood I have in this life’.

‘Nobody is losing anybody.’ Susan had to intercept. ‘Nothing good comes easy especially at the start. He will definitely adapt’. She said.

‘Exactly what I told him. I will be fine’, I added.

‘You better adapt o because if this happens again, I will be the one to write the resignation letter myself on your behalf..’ He said.

‘As if they leave you, you can write it’, Susan joked and we burst into laughter.

‘Look, you can insult my brother inside the bedroom, but don’t do that in my presence’, ‘I added to the joke.

‘Look at who’s talking’, Susan said while pointing at me ‘You better stand up and let’s be going home’, she said, jokingly.

‘Even if I can’t write, I will pay a lawyer to do that for me’, he defended amid laughter.

The conversation continued until my brother stood up to take his leave.

‘Honey, let me see you off’, Susan said while standing up.

‘Please don’t worry. Relax and take care of my brother for me’, he said to her.

‘Do you have to tell me that? Haven’t I been taking care of him since?’, she said, smiling.

‘Honey, I know you have been doing that but please do more. See you guys later’, he said and hurried out.

‘When are you coming back?’, I asked.

‘I don’t know. But I will communicate to you guys’, he said while slamming the door.

Immediately, the smiling atmosphere disappeared in thin air. Everybody put up a face. You really need to see the way Susan was staring at me in a resent.

‘Steve, what was that drama for?’, she angrily asked.

‘I thought you did it’, I said.

    ‘Did what?’, she queried.

    ‘Poisoned his food’, I replied.

‘But I gave you my word? Look, I am not a dev|l’,she said with an angry and disappointed look.

‘I thought you had done the worst. The signal you gave me complicated the whole thing’, I said.

‘I had to send you the signal with my eyes for you to comport yourself because the guilty handwriting was clear and bold on your face’. She angrily said.

‘I am sorry. I got everything wrong’, I apologized.

‘Sorry for yourself.’ She hissed. ‘Just a little composure, you can’t put up.’

‘Susu sorry na, ehn’, I teased her.

‘I will forgive you on one condition’, she said.

    ‘What condition?’.

‘That you will hammer me very well tonight in the aza room(a euphemism for the bedroom.)’, she named her condition.

‘Ahh! Today? Susan, do you want to kill me? Can’t you see that I am on drip and the doctor said I need a rest’, I had to express my surprise.

‘You and I know very well that nothing is wrong with you. So spare me that pretense, abeg.’ She teased.

‘Susan, have a pity on me na, abeg’, I pleaded, jokingly.

‘Since that is the only thing you are very good at, you have to live up to the expectations’, she said, teasing.

‘I don’t understand. What exactly do you mean by that?’.

‘You heard me right. Secondly, we are going home today. I can’t afford to sleep in this hospital. Another thing is this: I am very honey’, she whispered into my ear.

Later, I was discharged from the hospital and we went home that night.

Despite my reluctance, Susan managed to lure me into sxx that night. We had it hot and rough that night.

Few days later, I resumed work after some days off. Throughout the days that I didn’t come to work, Lucy always called to check up on me. But she doesn’t give me the room to talk; she would call and after asking me how I was doing, she would end the call. If I tried calling her back, she wouldn’t answer. Even at work, she doesn’t give me a listening ear not to talk of an opportunity for us to talk.

At first, Lucy thought Susan was my wife, but after proving her wrong, she insisted that there was something intimate going on between us. And to worsen the whole thing, Susan has accosted her, warning her to stay away from me. Lucy cried on the phone while explaining to me the level of embarrassment that Susan gave to her that day at place of work.

One fateful day, after work, I accosted Lucy in her car that we needed to talk. Lucy insisted that she didn’t have the time, that she wanted to go home, but I persisted. After all said and done, Lucy moved into her car to go but I refused to let her go. In fact, I blocked her car from moving, signaling her to give me a listening ear or crush me to death. She horned severally all to no avail. At one point, she had to come down from the car to give me a listening ear.
