“Sit down” he gestured to the couch

“Thank you” she muttered before sitting down

“I will get something for you to drink” he said and turns to leave but

“Carlos” she called softly as she stands up from the couch

“Huh” do you need anything? He asked

She shakes her head in reply

“Am sorry” she muttered

“Sorry? Why are you sorry? He asked with a smile

“Am sorry for not believing you when you told me you were set up,I should have given you a listening ear” she muttered with guilt as tears runs out of her eyes

“C’mon i don’t blame you for not believing me, after all no woman will believe a man who she caught on another woman” he explained

“Am sorry” she apologized sniffing back her tears

“It’s okay Nika,you shouldn’t cry too much because of the baby” he said and she nodded with a smile

The atmosphere was calm as they both have different thoughts running in their minds

“Anika let’s get married” he said breaking the silent

Anika stared at his face in shock but soon the shock was replaced with a beautiful smile

“Ok, let’s get married” she agreed as she sniffed back her tears

Carlos face broke into a big smile as he heard her reply

He pulled her closer and slammed his lips on hers, kissing her hard

“I love you” he said emotionally as he broke the kiss few moments later

“I love you more mocha” she replied with a giggle and he smiled widely
