“You save her, you die” he whispered, and Omar’s throat went dry.
Levi’s threatening voice in his ears felt like a rolling stone, crushing his eardrums completely.
He panicked as he watched North who’s still struggling in the water, and it’s as if the other students are under a spell.
None of them moved an inch or even tried to save her.
No one likes North, a total bîtch to everyone,.
“Doesn’t she look good struggling in the water like this?” Levi’s voice reached Omar’s ears again, and he gulped.
“Please… please let me…save her” he begged as tears finally fell from his eyes.
Levi shifted his eyes to the water, focusing back on North.
She’s starting to lose strength, and any moment from now, she’d stop struggling and drown__and die.
Levi badly wants to see that, but…
Someone suddenly pushed past the crowd and jumped in the pool.
Chadwick!
He swam madly fast to her and dragged her, swimming back to the poolside within two minutes.
He brought her out and lay her beside the pool, then she began vomiting water non-stop till blood came out of her nose.
Levi released Omar, and he rushed to her, so Chadwick came to Levi.
“You trespassed again, Banks” he gritted his teeth.
“Is there a rule that says I can’t?” Levi replied stonily, and eyes widened.
- He actually talks?
-
What the…hell!
-
I need a full explanation.
“And trespassing ain’t the right word to use. I was only taming a whore” Levi continued, and Chadwick smirked.
“You almost killed her!”
“Be thankful that I didn’t” Levi muttered and removed his spectacles and cap, dropping them on the ground before walking out of the hall.
Despite North’s condition, she rushed to the discarded cap and spectacles, picked them and sniffed them obsessively.
“She’s insane” Isaac said beside Rain.
Rain just walked out without any comment, and as usual, Isaac rushed after her.
Chadwick remained standing, feeling subdued and disrespected, and little.
He looked around and saw students staring at him…
“The fûck are y’all moping at? Get your eyes away or I’mma thaw them out!” He yelled.
The students quickly made way for him as he walked out of the hall too.
The swimming supervisor came in afterwards, but she was surprised to see the mess.
“Cancel the class, I’m hurt” North told her.
“But…
“I said I’m hurt! Cancel the damn class!” North angrily pushed her into the pool.
- Fûck!
The lecturer swam to the pool wall, so wet and drenched and shaky.
North took Omar’s wallet and got some euro notes from it, throwing it at the woman in the pool.
“That’s for your dry-cleaning” she said and walked out.
Omar ran after her, catching up at the hallway.
“Are you crazy? He pushed you into the pool, and all you could do was take his cap and spectacles to sniff?” He said.
North is still holding the two in her right hand.
“What’s your point?” North scoffed.
“You’re acting pointless like a broken pencil, and it’s …
Omar’s words were cut short when North’s palm met with his cheek, hard.
She slapped him, and he staggered, blood trickling from the corner of his lip.
“Know your place, big brother… capisce?(understood?)” She glared, going closer.
“Yes” he muttered, holding his burning cheek .
“Good” North muttered, walking out on him.
Isaac and Rain appeared at the other end of the hallway again, they’ve been watching.
“Is Omar really the senior?” Isaac muttered in awe.
“He’s a stooge, maybe there’s some secret between them” Rain spoke, and Isaac nodded.
“Library?” She faced him.
“After you” he replied, and she smiled slightly as they left together.

MALE LOCKER ROOM*
Conrad and Hyce are done changing back to their clothes, but Levi is still on it.
He’s currently putting on his giant sneakers.
“You almost killed North, dude” Hyce said, tucking his hands into his pockets.
“Actually, I’d be the happiest in the universe if she actually died” Conrad replied icily.
“I appreciate that statement, Connie” Levi said, tying his shoe laces.
“Listen I’m not saying I care about her, but killing inside the school premises is bullshit. We promised to keep a low profile and that can’t get out” Hyce said.
“Banks duty is to watch Emory, and no one has the right to hurt her under his watch, are you forgetting that?” Conrad replied meaningfully.
“Dude!” Hyce snapped, and Levi stood to get between them.
“I know what I’m fuçking doing, so headbutting ain’t necessary” he said simply, and they both relaxed.
Levi walked out, leaving the two.
“So…are you having eyes for Isaac?” Conrad said, and Hyce snickered.
“Are you my watchman now?”
“Don’t try to cover up, is Isaac taking your dîck in his ass soon?” Conrad said.
“Dîck” Hyce laughed, exiting the room with him.

FEMALE LOCKER ROOM*
“Are you fine now?” Rebekah asked worriedly after Emory finished washing her face for the third time to calm herself.
“I’m fine” she replied, taking a towel from Lizzy to dry her face.
“It was North who did the pushing, but you don’t have to worry, Banks gave her a payback already” Nina said.
“Banks?” Emory faced her.
“Yeah, he pushed her in too, and she almost died” Nina said dramatically.
“Why would that motherfûcker do that for me when I didn’t ask him?” Emory scoffed.
“I’m still in awe of it too. I can’t pinpoint why he did that” Rebekah muttered.
“Still doesn’t stop me from giving North my share of wrath though” Emory said and left the room.
She’s back in her baggy jean and top, and her hair is still slightly wet.
Immediately she stepped out, she met the devil waiting in front of the room, and she halted abruptly.
Her friends came out to see him too, but they pretended not to, so they walked away, but Rebekah came back…
“If you make her neck red again, I swear to gawd…
“You’ll have me killed?” Levi interrupted with a wicked smile, and Rebekah came closer.
“I’m the crown princess of this island remember? I can actually do that” she said.
“I like the idea of people killing me so much. It’s exciting” Levi maintained the smile, and Rebekah scoffed.
“You’re crazy”
She patted Emory before leaving, and Emory sighed, facing him.
“What exactly do you want from me? No let’s start this way…why did you push North into the pool?” She questioned.
“I love seeing people drown” he replied sickly without blinking.
Emory scoffed.
“Are you human at all? Do you have an heart beating in your goddamn chest?”
“Are you actually siding North?” His brows went up.
“Nah, I’m just saying I don’t appreciate you barging into my house or grabbing me by the neck!” She snapped, and he came closer.
“And don’t come anywhere close to me anymore, you hear me?” She quickly stepped back.
“Too fuçking bad, you stepped into my house first. You called for this, and we still have a hide and seek game to complete. Hashtag; we’re far from done” he said solidly, and she instantly wants to punch him.
“Be good, fox” he smiled hauntingly and left her.
“Goddamn it! I hate everything about him! His creepy smiles make me wanna throw up…shit!” Emory gritted her teeth as she left the hallway.
There’s just one more class to go for the day, so she went straight to class, but the lecturer in charge isn’t in yet.
“What did you discuss with Banks?” Gossiper Nina asked immediately, but she wasn’t even hearing her.
She scanned the class for Chadwick, and as if nature is by her side, she saw him just coming in with North, and her legs did the fast walk to them immediately.
“Any news?” North came forward.
“Don’t you think that’s a bîtchy thing to say after you threw me in the pool?” Emory replied loudly, gaining attention from the students.
“Why are you fussing over it? You didn’t die” North replied, and Emory tried punching her, but North saw it coming, so she threw her punch too.
Their punches met their faces at the same time, and everyone gasped, standing to their feet.
Emory recovered faster, so she threw the second punch at North.
It met her on the jaw, and North staggered on Chadwick who caught her.
He pushed her back, then he faced Emory himself.
“Doing that when I’m right here is a toughie thing to do, I must say” he said.
“I don’t care what you have to say. I know you sent those mad guys to me, and I’m taking the money for my destroyed car here and now!” Emory glared.
“And you think you’d get what you want?” His lips curled.
“You might wanna start making the transaction right now before i ruin you!” Emory glared harder.
“Ruin me? Who’s your father? I am Master X’s son, his only son! You might wanna watch what you say cos your life is equivalent to a passing wind. I’ll kill you and your parents will still kneel in front of me to beg for your corpse!” He yelled aggressively.
“Blah blah fuçking blah. So what if your father is Master Y? I don’t give a flying fûck!” Emory replied, fire burning in her fierce eyes.
“Damn you, bîtch!” Chadwick tried grabbing her neck again, but Rebekah came between them before it could happen.
“If you want your hands on the ground, then touch me” Rebekah threatened, and Chadwick dropped his hand with a scoff.
“Let’s leave, Chad” North said behind him.
He nodded once, his eyes like a monster’s, them he left with North.
Rebekah faced Emory who’s still fuming.
“He’s paying for my car, I mean it” Emory said.
“Sure, he will. Just calm down” Rebekah replied, and the lecturer finally came in.
They left for their seats, and the class started on the dot.
Emory looked back, and thankfully, Banks and his friends aren’t in class.
She sighed in relief.
