Mr Baldwin clenched his jaw tighter, he shut his eyes briefly, and inhaled deeply.
At that moment, Fatima rushed in and aimed her gun at Mrs Jackson -she’s been standing outside and heard everything they’ve been saying.
“Don’t let her go boss, she doesn’t know where Mrs Baldwin is” she said.
“What?” Mr Baldwin asked.
“Mrs Baldwin called me few minutes, she told me she’s meeting up with someone, and sent me the address” she glared at Mrs Jackson. “She wasn’t abducted, because where Mrs Baldwin is right now a public place” she emphasized on ‘public place’.
Mrs Jackson glared maliciously at Fatima.
“Yes, I don’t know where your wife is, but you must let me go, or I’ll kill your aunt right in front of you!”
“You… ”
“Fatima!” Mr Baldwin growled, and Fatima shut up at once. “Let her go” he said.
She wanted to argue, but one look from her boss advised her to withdraw, her shoulders slumped down as she stepped out of the way.
Mrs Jackson held nanny Pamela hostage until she walked out, and still didn’t release her until a van stopped behind her.
“Here” she pushed nanny Pamela forward, and Mr Baldwin caught her before she could fall.
“Are you ok, nanny?” he asked as nanny Pamela wouldn’t stop coughing, but she could only nod in response.
“Take that, bitçh!” with that Fatima shot Mrs Jackson on her left leg before she could jump in the van.
“Fuçk! Fatima, that’s a reckless move, she could have shoot back!” Lucas queried her.
“She wouldn’t because she knows she’s outnumbered” she gestured at their men surrounding the place. “Besides, we promised to let her go in one piece, but we didn’t promise we won’t leave a mark on her” she smirk.
“Come on, let’s go inside” Mr Baldwin said, and supported nanny Pamela as they walked in.

“Yes, let’s go” Mr Baldwin replied, and got up. “Lucas, you’ll stay back and take care of nanny until I get back”
“Yes, sir”
“Let’s go, Fatima” with that Mr Baldwin and Fatima hurried off.

RACHEL’S pov
My heart was beating vehemently against my chest, as I stood in front of the restaurant Tasha wanted us to meet, and I couldn’t help the frightening thoughts that were running through my mind.
What is Tasha trying to do? Is she trying to abduct me in public?
Well, I just hope Fatima gets here in time. I inhaled deeply, braced myself against whatever is coming my way, and walked into the restaurant.

“Thank you” I thanked the cashier as I paid for my bottle water, and walked towards the table Tasha’s booked.
I pulled out a chair sat down, but frowned when I noticed someone’s already sitting on the chair opposite mine, she was wearing a base cap which kinda blocked her face, and I couldn’t see her face clearly.
Where the hell is Tasha? Why isn’t she here yet? Or could it be she’s hiding somewhere, and watching me from there?
“Gosh, I’m so thirsty” I whispered to myself, and opened my bottle water, I reached for a glass and poured some water, and finished it in one gulp.
“You’re finally here” the lady sitting across me said.
I frowned slightly.
Is she talking to me?
“You kept me waiting for thirty minutes” she said.
“Huh?”
That’s when she took off her base cap, and…
Wait, are my eyes deceiving me or something? Isn’t this another me? Or do I have a long lost, identical twin?
“You’re finally here” she repeated her words.
“Finally here?” I asked in total confusion. “Who are you? Why do you look exactly like me? And where’s Tasha? What game is she trying to play here?!” I asked seriously.
But she just laughed and shook her head.
“Calm down” she said. “You’ll soon understand this game perfectly well, I’ll take my time to explain it to you and make sure you understand every details”
Her voice… Even her voice sounded exactly like mine?
That’s when my eyes moved to her stomach and I gasped quietly… Even her stomach is as big and round as mine, she’s as heavily pregnant as me.
Is this some kind of a comedy show? Where are the cameras? I don’t wanna appear bad on tv.
“Do you like my surprise?” she asked.
“Surprise my @ss!”
Ok, I know I said I braced myself against whatever that’s coming my way, but I didn’t anticipated this at all… I never knew I’d be seeing a second me.
“What do you think about my new look?”
What is she talking about? New look? Who is she?
Then her saw her showing me a photo in her phone, and my mouth fell open as I finally understood what’s going on.
“You’re Tasha!” I growled.
“Hello, darling” she winked at me.
“How did you make yourself look heavily pregnant like me?” I asked in surprise.
“It looks real, right?” she laughed. “I had my stomach pump to make it look like a real pregnancy”
I frowned at her words, and glared at her. What’s wrong with her? Why would she wanna look like a pregnant woman?
“You have put in a lot of effort to look exactly like me, what’s gonna be your gain in doing all this?”
“Isn’t it obvious? I want your life” she answered.
“Huh? You want my life?” I frowned deeply as fear gripped me.
Tasha kept smiling, and wouldn’t move his eyes away from my glass of water.
What does she mean? Is she planning on killing me?
Wait.. I looked down at my glass of water, and my mouth fell open again as it dawned on me -the water is poisoned.
But how was it poisoned? I ordered it myself, and I watched the waiter poured it in the glass.. or is the glass the problem?

I’ve been trying my best to be vigilant recently, yet I fell into her cheap trick, and now I’ll be in danger.
“Are you scared?” she mocked me.
“Scared of what? You?” I asked back, pretending to be strong, meanwhile I’m a jelly inside.
“Don’t worry, I don’t wanna kill you” she said.
My frown deepened.
“I just want you to watch how I’m gonna take your life away from you” she paused and laughed. “I’ll make sure I send you videos of how Duncan and I are gonna be fuçking everyday”
Anger overwhelmed me as my brain formated and I couldn’t think straight, I sprang up at once, and banged on the table.
“You… ”
But fell back on the chair as I suddenly felt dizzy, and my vision started blurring slowly.
“I’d advise you stop being angry, because the angrier you get, the faster the drug works” she said with a smirk.
I breathe heavily as I tried to contain my anger, but I couldn’t because I’m mad at everything; I’m mad at myself for not being vigilant enough, I’m mad at Duncan for not coming home and not calling to check up on me, I’m even mad at the fact that I met him, fell in love with him and married him, I’m more angry at the fact that my innocent son is getting dragged into his father’s mess.
“You..” I exhaled sharply. “You.. you won’t get.. away with this…” that’s what I could manage to say, before darkness consumed me.

THIRD PERSON’S pov.
Tasha scoffed as Rachel’s head dropped on the table in a loud bang, she shook her head and inhaled deeply.
“I once told you, Duncan’s mine!” she smiled.
Just then, a girl (she’s Tasha’s assistant) rushed towards them, and sat on an empty chair next to them.
“Ma’am, I just checked outside, her husband and friend just arrived, what should we do?” her assistant said.
“Call the waiter” Tasha replied.
“Huh?”
Her eyes flicked between Tasha and Rachel, she’s directly reminding her of the striking resemblance between them.
“Just call the waiter” Tasha repeated her words, her assistant nodded and called for the waiter.
Then reached for her base cap and wore it, before the waiter could reach their table, she pulled it down to block her face from the waiter’s view.
“How may I help you, ma’am?” the waiter asked the waiter.
Tasha coughed lightly to clear her throat.
“My friend is not feeling so good, and her doctor advised her to stay away from sunlight recently”
The waiter glanced at Rachel whose head was resting on Tasha’s assistant’s shoulder, her eyes were shut which confirmed Tasha’s words.
“Can you arrange a cab for my friend to take her home?” she asked in an extremely polite tone.
“Oh, yes”
“Uh, you know she must avoid sunlight”
“Yeah”
“Is there like an underground parking lot she could take?”
“Yes, yes” the waiter faced Tasha’s assistant. “Please come with me”
“Oh, thank you very much” Tasha thanked him.

“It’s my pleasure” he replied as he helped Rachel up and carried her in his arms, then headed off somewhere and Tasha’s assistant rushed after him.
Tasha heaved a sigh of relief when they’re gone, she took off her base cap and smirked wickedly.
“Rachel? Rachel?” Fatima called as she and Mr Baldwin rushed into the restaurant.
Tasha looked towards their direction, and her smirk grew bigger.
“Time to be Mrs Baldwin!” she said to herself.
