Princess’ eyes gushed with tears as she watched the videos. She never believed that her husband could cheat on her but now, everything was clear with video evidence. She still wished she was dreaming and that somehow, she would soon wake up from the dream, but unfortunately everything she saw in the video were true.
“Today is the worse day of my life. I can’t believe this is happening to me. I never knew my husband is a chronic womanizer. All these while, I have been bragging in the front of my friends that I have a faithful man that I can vouch for. I didn’t know I was living with a Casanova.” Princess said amid hot and painful tears. She and Eleks were in a hotel room this time around since they chose to watch the videos indoors together without being detected by anyone. The wall clock in the hotel room chimed 9.a.m. The room temperature was made cold by the rectangular air conditioner hung on the wall close to the window. Princess stood up from the table where she sat and watched the video with Eleks and went to the bed.
“One good thing is that your husband has been honest about not getting Amaka pregnant. He did not sleep with her, at least before she showed up at your house. That fact is now very clear.” Eleks said. He shut down the laptop, closed it and put it in his bag which lay under the table. He placed the bag on the table and then went to the bed to meet Princess who was still weeping like a baby. Her eyes were red and her face was squeezed like someone who chewed raw bitter leaf.
“Don’t cry too much. All hope is not lost. At least you are not dead yet. You can still reclaim your home.” Eleks said as he sat on the hotel bed and looked directly into Princess’ eyes. The first day he saw Princess, he had started liking her. He waited for her most vulnerable moment to make his first move. This was the moment he has been waiting for. He decided to strike without delay. As Princess continued to weep uncontrollably, Eleks drew closer to her and started wiping her tears with a white handkerchief. Soon, he started touching her cheeks and then he drew closer again and started kissing her. Princess responded to the kiss with equal intensity. She responded as if that was exactly what her body needed at that moment of sorrow and pain.
It did not take too long before Princess fell on the soft bed herself. Their love-making session did not last long but Princess enjoyed it so much. Even though Eleks is a two-minute man, he succeeded in making her feel relieved. It was when they were done that she realized she had slept with another man and not her husband. Although she felt better, she was sad that it had happened. She however refused to blame herself. One part of her mind even told her that she did the right thing. Eleks slept off after testing the honey.
“Eleks, wake up, there is something I want us to do.” Princess said, tapping Eleks gently at the back. He arose and sat on the bed, leaning his back on the wall. He was eager to hear what Princess wanted to say.
“I want you help me arrange boys to kidnap Amaka. I want to show her the difference between egbe and egbe.” Princess said with anger. It was like there was a sudden burst of energy rising from her belly and her heart was yearning for revenge.
“I have my own boys. There would be no need to arrange for other boys. I will just give them a call and the will do it immediately. Consider it done.” Eleks remarked with emphasis.
“That’s very good! When she is kidnapped, give me a phone call and will join you wherever you are. I want to looked into her eyes and ask her some questions. I want to find out why she chose to destroy my home. I just want to have a little talk with her.” Princess said. She stood up from the bed and wore her dress. She stepped out of the hotel room and soon, she was driving home. She got home and found out that Amaka had gone to the hospital for her normal antenatal checkup. She picked up her phone and called Eleks.
“This is the perfect time to strike. I have sent you a text message containing the address of the hospital. Please, I want you and your boys to do a clean job. There should be no mistakes. Please only Amaka should be kidnapped, leave my husband out of it, I will deal with him myself when I’m done with Amaka.” Princess tells Eleks who had already rallied his boys in a waiting Range Rover car.
Eleks did not go with his boys. He stayed back at the hideout where Amaka would be brought to when she is kidnapped. When the boys got to the hospital, they saw Chief Egbe with Amaka in the ward. While Amaka was on the hospital bed, Chief Egbe was sitting on a chair beside the bed. The boys had gained access into the hospital discreetly after claiming they were there to see a patient. Once in the hospital ward, they shot several times at the white ceiline, perforating and creating holes in it. Everyone scampered to safety. Within ten minutes, they were out of the hospital. Both Amaka and Chief Egbe were kidnapped at gunpoint and practically stuffed into the Range Rover and driven away.
“The job is done. I have sent the address of where we are. We are expecting you.” Eleks tells Princess over the phone. But what he did not mention was that Chief Egbe was also kidnapped. He had Chief Egbe kept in a different detention facility from where Amaka was kept. He has his own personal plan which was why he went against Princess’ instructions not to kidnap her husband.
When Princess entered the detention facility, he saw Amaka where she was blindfolded and tied on a chair. She did not know that her husband was also blindfolded the same way and kept somewhere else.
“So here we are! Remove the blindfolds on her eyes. I want to look her in the eyes while questioning her.” Princess said with pride in her voice. She was so happy to have Amaka under her command and control.
“Now, I want you to tell me how you got pregnant for my husband and why you did it. I already know the truth, so if you lie to me, I will have you killed. So, start talking immediately.” Princess tells Amaka as she sits down on a stool to listen to what she has to confess.
