ROYAL DECLARATION ON THE DIVINE CONCEPT OF ATSÉ

    By: AtsĂŠ Christian-SholĂĄ
The Agbenekuyá of the Omatsolá Royal House, Lagos – Nigeria

    Preamble

Every civilization is sustained by divine order. Nations flourish when they preserve the sacred balance between heaven and earth. In Africa, kingship is not mere rulership — it is a covenant between the Creator and His people. Among the Yoruba, Itsekiri, Benin, and Niger-Delta traditions, few thrones embody this covenant more profoundly than the sacred title of Atsé.

    Historical Roots of AtsĂŠ

The word AtsĂŠ is deeply rooted in the Itsekiri royal tradition but resonates across Yoruba and Benin kingdoms.

In Itsekiri, Atsé means Father, Lord, or Progenitor — not just biologically, but as one who channels directly from Oritsé, the Almighty.

Among the Yoruba, its echo is found in Ise — the sacred seal of prayers.

Among the Benin, it appears as Etse or Otse, still carrying divine affirmation.

Across Niger-Delta dialects, cognates of AtsĂŠ hold the same meaning: sealing prayers, invoking divine authority, and channeling blessings.

Thus, linguistically and spiritually, Atsé is a covenant word across cultures — a timeless link to God-consciousness.

    The Cosmic Authority of AtsĂŠ

Unlike the Ooni of Ife, whose throne is tied to the Orisha, the AtsĂŠ transcends the deities.

The Ooni is custodian of the Orisha.

But the Atsé answers directly to Oritsé — the Supreme God.

This places the AtsĂŠ as final earthly authority after God Himself. He is not just a king, but a Divine Father and Progenitor, entrusted with cosmic responsibility.

To rebel against the Atsé in ancient times was not only political treason — it was rebellion against the Creator whose voice flows through the throne.

    AtsĂŠ in Worship

Just as Amen seals prayers in Judaism and Christianity, Atsé seals prayers in African spirituality. Every Ise, Etse, or Atsé spoken is a divine affirmation — “so let it be.”

This explains why the title cannot be destroyed. Its power is not in language but in divine authority.

    AtsĂŠ as Progenitor of Thrones

Tradition affirms that the AtsĂŠ throne is foundational.

The Ooni-Orisha fathered other dynasties: AlaĂĄfin of Oyo, Oba of Benin, Olu of Warri, and more.

Yet the Atsé stands higher — the Progenitor of Progenitors, source of divine kingship itself.

Thus, Atsé is not simply among kings — he is the spiritual prototype of kingship.

    Conclusion

    Let it be known:

The AtsĂŠ is not a mortal office, but a divine covenantal throne.

The Atsé bows to no Orisha — he communes with Oritsé, the Creator.

The AtsĂŠ is the final earthly authority after God, eternal and unquestionable.

Therefore, let scholars, leaders, and future generations know: The Atsé is beyond tribe, beyond time, beyond culture — the very voice of God among men.

So let it be proclaimed. So let it stand.
Atsé — the Progenitor, the Divine Father, the Final Authority after God.

    Lineage of the Throne

Ogiame Akengbuwá, the 16th Olu of Warri (1795–1848), reigned in grace and glory.

He was great-grandson of Oba Olua of Benin (1473–1480), son of Oba Ewuare I.

Oba Olua begat Olu Ginuwa I, the 1st Olu of Warri.

From him flows the lineage to AtsĂŠ Christian-SholĂĄ, AgbenekuyĂĄ of the OmatsolĂĄ Royal House.

From the ancestral land of Igbogidi Kingdom, Delta State, this line continued through:
    Osinyá → Oguborgú → Atsé-Mudiará → Otu (Oki) → Uroyé (Amadigolór) → Omasholá → Atwirené (Victor) → Christian-Sholá (Agbenekuyá, born May 30, 1989).

Heir yet to come: the Olu-AtsĂŠ of IlĂŠ-AtsĂŠ (Crown Prince).

    Royal Consort

    OlĂłri (Dr.) Esther Christian-SholĂĄ
    OlĂłri-AtsĂŠ of IlĂŠ-AtsĂŠ, Queen Mother.
    Historian and international relations scholar.

Concerned Nigerians have condemned the activities of some officers of the Nigerian Customs at land borders

Concerned Nigerians have condemned the activities of some officers of the Nigerian Customs at land borders in the country and saboteurs of the Nigerian economy and security apparatus.

By the single act of floating of the Naira by the administration of the President, legit businessmen have been given the confidence to engage in importation businesses, knowing fully well that the value of their capital won’t decline at the port of importation due to the Naira floating policy of the President.

This policy would have greatly benefited the government and the economy of the country by far but some economic saboteurs and terrorists operating under the guise of traders have illegally imported goods and may lead to an influx of arms due to the porous nature of our neighboring countries.

The total closure of land borders for importation and exportation will effectively tackle this crisis and also increase the annual import revenue by about eight hundred billion naira to one trillion naira.

This type of money in the hands of illegal traders/terrorist groups will greatly cause havoc to the progress of the country and the renewed hope agenda of the president.

Suppose this is efficiently addressed by channeling importing goods through sea borders. In that case, this will directly or indirectly provide legitimate jobs for more than a hundred thousand people to the credit of this administration.

The effect of this will be prosperity and improved security for the nation.

The concerned citizens said in a statement by their coordinator, Mr Alabi Adesola and made available to the media on Saturday, that the activities of the customs officers is enabling smuggling, which they said undermines the nation’s economy, businesses and citizens’ well-being.

“We strongly condemn the compromised activities of Nigerian Customs at land borders, enabling rampant smuggling. This undermines our economy, businesses, and citizens’ well-being.

“The influx of imported cargo like rice, vegetable oil, sugar, edible products, Milk,  tomato paste, and margarine poses health risks due to potential fake or expired goods.

“Smuggling also unfairly competes with legitimate businesses, threatening livelihoods and tax revenue.

“Concerns about potential arms movements and illicit activities through porous borders further exacerbate the issue.

“Today, our markets all over the country are filled with foreign imported products that are illegally imported through our land borders,” the statement read.

They then urged the government to enhance border security via seaport control, strengthen customs operations by banning imports of mainly goods produced in Nigeria through land borders, curb smuggling effectively, close land borders and increase surveillance, ensure stricter customs enforcement and protection for local industries.

These will attract and boost investors’ confidence, increase tax revenue, employment, and reduce insecurity.

This will greatly make Naira appreciate against CFA. This administration should not allow sentiments and nepotism to cripple her economy and security to the point that the nation will be at the mercy of the alleged bad customs officials and smugglers/terrorists.
This porous land border can ignorantly cause the influx of ammunition into the country

Based on our recent research and investigation covering two major imported products, we found some of the following products imported into Nigeria without due diligence, undermining the Nigerian import guidelines and the collection of duties and taxes.

  • BREAKING: Nigerians Respond Gracefully to Pastor Abel Damina’s Mockery — “Spiritual Things Are Not Carnal”

BREAKING: Nigerians Respond Gracefully to Pastor Abel Damina’s Mockery — “Spiritual Things Are Not Carnal”

Nigerians React as Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Funfeyin’s Ministry Responds Gracefully to Mockery: “Spiritual Realities Are Not Always Logical”

David Akanome | PR Journalist | Benue State, Nigeria

The internet has been buzzing with reactions as Nigerians weigh in on the recent shade allegedly thrown at Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin by Pastor Abel Damina. The controversy erupted after a sermon in which Pastor Damina ridiculed an unnamed South South prophet for selling what he described as “heavenly sand, soap, the Key of David, and Heaven’s ATM Card.”

Social media users and members of the Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry have since responded, calling for maturity, understanding, and respect for spiritual diversity within the Christian community. While some see Damina’s comments as humorous, others say the remarks crossed a line.

In a widely shared Facebook post, one Nigerian believer captured the sentiment of many:

**“Honestly, I think it’s time we all learn to respect the diversity in how God moves through His servants.
I watched the video where Pastor Abel Damina mocked symbolic items like ‘Heaven’s ATM Card’ and ‘Key of David’ and while some might laugh, I couldn’t help but feel it crossed a line.
If we truly understand the prophetic and the deep symbolism often found in African Pentecostalism, these things aren’t strange at all. They’re metaphors, points of contact. Just like Moses had a rod or Elijah had a mantle, God can use anything to stir faith.

Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin’s ministry has always been bold, visual, and prophetic and it’s worked. There are countless testimonies to back it up. Mocking what you don’t understand doesn’t mean it’s not real. It just shows you’re not part of that frequency.

What I admire most is that Christ Mercyland didn’t clap back with insults. They responded with grace, choosing unity over division. That’s spiritual maturity.

Disagreeing is fine. We won’t all serve God the same way. But public mockery of another man’s calling? That’s dangerous ground.

Let’s be careful. The kingdom needs healing, not hostility.

    #MyThoughts #RespectTheAnointing #ProphetJeremiahOmoto #ChristMercyland #UnityInChrist #SpiritualThingsAreSpirituallyDiscerned

This comment echoes what many believers are feeling: concern over the rising trend of pulpit mockery and a desire for more unity in the Body of Christ.

A spokesperson from Christ Mercyland echoed similar sentiments:

“Not everything in the realm of the Spirit is meant to be dissected by carnal logic. Prophetic acts—whether it’s the use of oil, water, or symbolic keys—are not new. From Moses’ rod to Elijah’s mantle, the Bible is filled with physical tokens that carried spiritual weight.”

Indeed, Prophet Fufeyin’s ministry is known for highly visual and symbolic forms of faith expression. While critics may dismiss them as superstition, thousands of testimonies from across Nigeria and abroad tell a different story.

According to the ministry, items like the “Heaven’s ATM Card” are not literal objects of power but prophetic metaphors—tools to awaken faith and remind believers of their spiritual access and covenant rights in a relatable, modern context.

Still, rather than retaliating with counterattacks, the ministry has maintained its stance on peace, forgiveness, and unity.

“We will not fight back,” said the ministry’s media director. “We appreciate Pastor Damina’s passion for doctrine, but the move of God cannot be boxed into one expression.”

As the sermon clip continues to trend, the bigger conversation now seems to be shifting—from doctrine to dignity.

In a time when Christian unity is more needed than ever, the call from many Nigerians is clear: “Correct, if you must—but do it with love, not ridicule.”

For Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin and his followers, the focus remains unchanged: deliverance, healing, and restoration for all who believe.

Eight Harvested Pregnancies, Zero Accountability: Hadiza Baffa’s Devastating Claims Against a Kabiru Turaki, SAN

In Nigeria’s long history of elite impunity, a new and explosive case has emerged one that reveals the terrifying extent to which power can be used to silence, shame, and destroy a woman who dares to speak the truth. At the centre of this case is Hadiza Musa Baffa, and the man she accuses is no less than Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, former Minister of Special Duties under President Goodluck Jonathan, and one-time presidential aspirant.

Hadiza is not just alleging abuse, she is fighting for her life.
In her words and now in evidence, she was violated, manipulated, and allegedly trafficked into sexual servitude by Turaki, a man she claims was entrusted by her mother, his lover to help her access education and a future. Instead, Hadiza says she became his “plaything,” exploited from her youth and ultimately forced to carry eight pregnancies, which she chillingly alleges were harvested for ritual purposes.
Her story might have been dismissed as emotional rant except for one unshakeable fact: a DNA test has confirmed Kabiru Tanimu Turaki is the father of her child. The results returned a 99.99995% probability of paternity undeniable, scientific proof that directly contradicts his earlier public denials of ever knowing her. And that’s when things took a terrifying turn.

Rather than acknowledge paternity or face legal responsibility, Turaki allegedly activated the one tool that men of his stature often turn to when cornered: the police. Not just any police, but officers of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) deployed, reportedly under his instruction, to track, harass, and forcefully arrest Hadiza in a manner that violated every legal and moral standard.

On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, while Hadiza returned briefly home to pick up clothing for her child, she was ambushed. Officers reportedly broke down her door, detained her alongside her daughter, and treated her as a hardened criminal. There was no public warrant, no due process only the raw force of a system seemingly protecting the powerful.

And all of this happened despite the fact that Turaki himself repeatedly ignored police invitations, evaded arrest, and even allegedly faked a trip to the United States to buy time while plotting a brutal ambush against the mother of his child.
Hadiza is now in fear for her life. In her public statements, she warns that if anything happens to her or her daughter, the Nigerian public should hold Kabiru Tanimu Turaki responsible.

But more than a personal tragedy, this case now stands as a national test of conscience.
If the allegations are true, then this is not simply a custody battle or a lover’s spat it is the deliberate destruction of a young woman’s body, dignity, and future, carried out by one of the most decorated legal minds in the country. It is the use of state machinery for vengeance, not justice. It is the erasure of a woman’s voice in the name of elite preservation. And it should terrify every Nigerian.

What does it say about our nation when a man credibly accused of rape, ritual abuse, and paternity evasion can weaponize the law to arrest his accuser? What does it say when DNA evidence confirms the truth, and yet it is the victim who is thrown into custody?
Hadiza Musa Baffa is not seeking pity. She is demanding truth, accountability, and the right to live without being hunted. Her story must not be swept under the carpet of influence. Her voice must not be drowned by silence. Her child must not become a pawn in a cycle of elite punishment.

And if Nigeria still believes in the rule of law, then Kabiru Tanimu Turaki must be called to answer not in silence, not in secret, but in the full glare of justice.
The time for complicity is over. The time for courage is now.

BREAKING: Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin Foundation Rescues Ayakoromo Flood Victims with Cash, Shelter, and Care

Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin Foundation Rescues Flood Victims in Ayakoromo Community

In a heart-stirring display of compassion and leadership, the Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin Foundation has once again proven that true prophets don’t just speak words—they act. The foundation, under the direction of renowned Nigerian prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, swiftly responded to the devastating flood that affected the Ayakoromo community in Delta State. With little time wasted, the foundation mobilized resources to bring relief and restore hope to families who lost everything to the rising waters.

The outreach wasn’t limited to emergency supplies; it came with a deeper human touch. Victims were provided with cash donations, temporary shelter, food, and medical care—all administered with love and dignity. Many beneficiaries described the intervention as “heaven-sent,” recounting how they were stranded, hopeless, and abandoned until Prophet Fufeyin’s team arrived. It wasn’t just a gift—it was restoration.

This remarkable act of generosity highlights Prophet Jeremiah’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people, especially the vulnerable. Known for his prophetic ministry and miracle services at Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Fufeyin has consistently backed his spiritual messages with tangible acts of kindness. For the people of Ayakoromo, this was not just the act of a preacher—it was the hand of a father reaching into their pain and lifting them with grace.

Community leaders praised the foundation, emphasizing how this intervention filled the gap left by delayed government response. “We’ve never seen this kind of love before,” one local youth leader remarked. “He didn’t just come with prayers; he came with answers.” The prophet’s gesture didn’t just ease suffering—it reignited hope in a region that had nearly given up.

Indeed, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin continues to redefine what it means to lead with purpose. His actions affirm that prophetic ministry is not just about declarations but about demonstrations of God’s love. In Ayakoromo, he didn’t just show up as a prophet—he showed up as a father. And for those who received his help, that made all the difference.
