Alex , a Spaniard who has become an ambassador of Honduran culture on TikTok, gained popularity and the affection of thousands of users who call him “The Only Spanish Catracho.”
Through his videos he demonstrates his love and respect for Honduras , highlighting its culture, traditions and passion for the Central American country.
“As a Spaniard, I feel proud that you are here. I love your culture. Long live Honduras celebrating 203 years of Independence!” Alex said in one of his most recent videos on the national holidays in Spain.
Alex’s love for Honduras is no coincidence, as his wife, Karen Santos, is originally from Campamento, Olancho . Through their relationship, he has adopted many of the Honduran customs, such as the punta dance, and says he feels at home sharing the Honduran culture.
Residing in Valencia, Spain , Alex recently participated in an event to celebrate the Independence of Honduras , where he was one of the first to set the mood with his energy and joy.
His TikTok followers can watch his videos dancing punta, and one of the most popular shows Alex and his wife dancing while he proudly wears the Marathón jersey, the San Pedro Sula team.
“I feel very proud, my wife is Honduran and I love the culture. I am Spanish, but I feel at home. The day I go to Honduras it will be a huge honor,” said Alex, who continues to share his love for Honduras and its culture in each of his videos, showing that the love for a country has no borders.
