Egodi called Rebecca on the phone and she was told they were making preparations to take Ifediora to the hospital at the moment that the illness had led to a partial stróke.

I didn’t see the person Aunty. Chinwekene said looking terrified as she saw her Aunty’s face looking angry for the first time.

Chinwekene went to the bathroom to have her mouth washed while her Aunty Seated back in the sitting room contemplating.

Egodi’s phone rang. it was Rebecca and she picked.
Ego, good morning. Rebecca greeted her on the phone.
Good morning my dear. How is my brother? Egodi asked.
The hospital is attending to him. I’m yet to see the improvement. He’s still lying steady on the bed. Rebecca replied.
By the special grace of God, I will be with you tomorrow. They are only trying in vain nothing will happen to him. Egodi said.
Amen, nothing will happen to him. Ego, please if you are coming tomorrow Chinwekene insisted she would follow you please don’t force her to stay back just bring her back to me. I don’t want to attend to two sick people at the same time. Please. Rebecca said.
Don’t bother yourself. I will call Felix my son to come tomorrow morning and stay with her till I come back. She won’t even love to come with me again because I’ve talked to her. Egodi said.

The call ended. Egodi was feeling too lazy to go to her shop. She lay back on the couch and dozed off.
Take me to my son or you bring my son to me any of these two or I will chóké myself to déàth with this yam I’m eating. The same person who takes the form of Chinwekene appeared in Egodi’s dream looking so aggressive.
Egodi quickly woke up from her sleep and saw Chinwekene sitting on the ties floor opposite her eating yam with sauce and was also looking at her.
