Luna sighed loudly as she looked at her results on the paper. She scored a D+
Unlike Emily, she’s not the brainy type. She had to read her brain out just to pass a simple scholarship, what more of the tests and exams they’ll be having.
“Don’t feel bad, okay? It’s just a quiz, not an official exam. You joined us pretty late so maybe that’s why you didn’t score high, with time you’ll get the hang of it, I’m sure.” Aurora said and Luna smiled lightly then nodded before looking at her paper. She instantly sighed again.
“Gavin! You need to check your results for the quiz, you-”
“No need to check, I can’t score less than A+.” Gavin said, standing up from his seat as he wore his crossbag.
“You scored A+ as expected. What do I expect from the top student of the school.” Ethan said proudly.
“Instead of flaunting my grades, you need to work on yours.” Gavin said, dipping his hands in his pockets.
“Hey I scored B-, it’s better than my past grades.” Ethan scoffed.
“Hey Gavin, where’s your seatmate. That blonde sexy baby mama.” Ethan asked, noticing the absence of Kehlani.
“I don’t know,” Gavin shrugged and began leaving.
Gracie sat down on a seat in an empty class as she played with her manicured fingernails. Not long after, two guys dragged in a slim guy throwing him down to his knees in front of Gracie.
“W-What did I do? I’m… I’m-”
“Shh… Relax, I just want you to do one favor for me. Just one and I ensure you your stay in this college will be paradise.” Gracie smiled.
The guy swallowed hard in fear.
“See this girl?” Gracie showed him a picture of Luna, “I want you to follow her around, everywhere she goes. By the end of this week, I want to know everything about her, from her name, age, background and anything I can use against her… Got it?”
The guy looked at Luna’s picture then at Gracie before nodding.
“Good.” Gracie smiled.

<GWYNNE’S RESTAURANT>
Luna stood on one of the table in the restaurant, cleaning the decors of the restaurant while humming her favorite songs.
The door to the restaurant did a ‘ding’ sound, indicating a customer just walked in.
“Welcome to Gwynne’s restaurant, what can I get for-” Luna paused when she saw who it was. The towel she was using for cleaning even fell from her hand.
“Finally, you’re here. I’ve been visiting this place everyday hoping to see you.” Weston smiled, entering the restaurant.
“No!” Luna exclaimed loudly, surprising Weston.
“Don’t…” Luna swallowed hard, “Don’t come close, just..just go away okay?” She said.
Weston instead walked closer, “Luna, we need to talk. I have somethings to explain to you, about-”
“I said don’t come closer, please don’t make it harder for me.” Luna begged.
“What do you mean?” Weston raised a brow.
Luna bit her lower lip, fidgeting nervously on top the table that she didn’t even notice the table was wobbling
Luckily, Weston took notice of that on time. He rushed towards her.
“What are you — ahh!” She exclaimed as one of the feet of the table failed her but luckily Weston caught her. She ended up falling on top of him.
Weston shielded her head protectively. A gasp escaped Luna’s lips.
“Are you okay? Did you get hurt?” Weston cupped her cheek, checking her out.
Luna who was straddling him couldn’t stop staring at his face as her heart raced several kilometers. Her mind kept screaming how wrong it was but her heart said otherwise.
“Luna-”
“Alright duck face, mom wants you to — Holy motherfucking cow!” Mia exclaimed when she walked in to see the scene that welcomed her.
Luna and Weston both turned to face her at once.
