Fulfilling dreams! This is the story of the Honduran professor who managed to achieve his first goal as an “independent adult.”
A Honduran foreign language teacher living in the United States shared on his Instagram account how he fulfilled his dream of becoming an ” independent adult .”
This is Jorge Luis Argueta , who thanks to a work program now lives in the United States, where he teaches Spanish to children , to whom he also shows them Honduran culture.
The native of Choluteca , in southern Honduras, said that he always dreamed of having his own cart , but that he was never able to do so in the country where he was born.
“I couldn’t buy it when I was in Honduras, but I was able to buy it here because, although it is true that it is a necessity in Honduras, it is more so here,” said the 31-year-old teacher.
And so, smiling and obviously happy, he spoke from the comfort of his new vehicle in North Carolina , the city to which he moved just over a month ago.
The teacher stressed that, although it has not been easy to adapt, he feels very happy to be living a new stage in his life, in which he teaches Spanish to fifth grade children.
Similarly, on her social networks she shows each of her adventures and even offers advice on how to apply for programs similar to hers, in which she can live abroad without losing her profession.
