Nathaniel nodded and sat back down, his thought so messed up. Why will Noelle upon all people want to harm her? Why? Thought she was supposed to be her mother?

Nathaniel held her shoulder, stopping her from coming closer.

“What is wrong?” Nathaniel asked.

She looked at her hands and smiled as tears kept falling from her hand.
“This hands has touched and done alot of cruel things. Sometimes I wake up and I look at myself in the mirror then I feel kílling myself but I just can’t leave Rose behind, I’m her only family.. She’s the reason why I still live” Natalia cried.
She sniffed in and looked up at the ceiling.
“When I was 8, Rose was just a year old… My father was killed by robbers. He díed in my arms, I can still remember it like it happened yesterday.. The only shelter we had was our mother but she abandoned us to some men and went to build another family. She completely abandoned us to those cruel men without blinking, she sold us!!” Natalia screamed with nothing but rage in her eyes.
“At a tender age when I was supposed to be enjoying my childhood like kids of my age, I began striving hard to protect my sister. Those men will always hit me when I misbehaved. They began forcing me to do things like stealing, poisoning people.. Short I became a weapon for them. At the age of 11, I experience something that I wish no child should experience,, they raped me..” Natalia broke down in tears.
Nathaniel immediately pulled her closer for a hug.
“They ràped me!! They didn’t even had any sympathy that I was a child they..they” Natalia choked on her word as tears couldn’t help continued.
“I’m sorry..” Nathaniel patted her shoulder.
Natalia shook her head and broke the hug.
“That day, I vowed that I’ll take revenge and that’ll begin with the reason I ended up that way,, my mother. I poisoned them then ran away with Rose. We went to the orphanage and began living there till I was 16 and then I met my boss. He took me in and trained me to become an assassin. After two years of training, I became unstoppable.. And then I went after her,, I killed my mother, I killed her and her new family… I slaughtered them all without mercy!!” Natalia laughed while crying. Someone who will see her will think she has gone màd.
“Nobody cared about us,, nobody lended us a helping hand so why should I do so? The only person who did was Rose.. and that’s why I vowed to dedicate my whole life for her to be better person, a better person I Will never be. If being the bad guy in the story means Rose won’t have to go what I went through then I don’t mind.. I will..” Natalia cried.
She looked at Nathaniel with teary eyes..
“Yunno my dream has always been to become a doctor. I’m I cursed? Why can’t I have a happily ever after like all the books I’ve read” Natalia cried.
Nathaniel just hugged her again, fighting back his tears..
“Life is just like a game of dice.. Sometimes it’s fair, sometimes it’s not” Nathaniel said.
Rose who was leaning on the door couldn’t stop her tears frome flowing down her eyes.
Her sister did all that for her?? Her whole life she has always been ashamed of Natalia
She immediately ran to her room in tears.

Nathaniel gently placed Natalia’s head on the bed before standing. Well she cried till she fell asleep in his arms.
“I’m hungry” He pouted, rubbing his tummy.
He slowly began walking out of the room while holding his bandaged tummy.
“Can’t believe I fell into that deep valley and I’m still alive.. I must be immortal” He muttered and walked in the living room.
He smiled when he perceived the delicious aroma coming from the dining table.
“Where’s Rose?” He thought but waved it off and sat down.
He dished himself and began eating when he heard a door knock.
“Is Rose sleeping?” He thought, eating and the door knock came up again..
“Can’t that person leave?” He groaned and stood up then walked to the door.
He held the doorknob, pondering on whether to open the door or not but later, his stubborn side took over and he opened it.
“Good evening. I’m here to return Rose’s phone, she-” Michael posed at who he saw.
The phone fell from his hand as his body began trembling.
Nathaniel stared at him too with shocked eyes but he later smiled.
“Dummy” He said, tears welling up in his eyes.
