Sphinx’s eyes peered open, and he yawned so loud before sitting up in bed.

He looked beside him and saw Maple is still asleep. They actually slept together on the bed beside Vee’s. Vee is still unconscious on his own bed.

He has been responding well to treatment despite his unconscious state since one month ago, but the reason he’s still not waking up is not still unknown.

Sphinx stretched himself gently before slowly looking over at Vee’s bed, hoping to meet him awake already, but his hope shattered when he saw his eyes are still closed.

“Keep it low, why do you love disturbing my sleep? Sphinx!” Maple shouted from his sleep, and Sphinx hit him on the head immediately.

They went to Vee’s bed and stood on each side.

They met Juniper and Sara by the door, and they stopped smiling immediately.

They walked away without a word, and Sara sighed sadly.

“Mum I’ll be right back, you go in first!” Juniper told her and rushed after her brothers.

She caught up in the middle of the hallway and pulled them both to the stairs.

“What the hell is happening? You guys are making mum sad. Can’t you just…let go of things already? Mother (Mrs. Lane) talked to us about it for a whole night before returning to Washington and I expect you guys to accept fate, why the coldness? Mum has suffered enough from the rape and having to carry out pregnancy all alone without any helper. Have you both forgotten the labour pains too? They retracted from their positions and started clapping.

He ran out of the room, laughing loudly as they chased him round the dorm.

In another five minutes, everyone went back to their rooms, and Jazzy’s phone rang immediately he entered his room.

“Juniper?” He muttered, swiping green.

“Hey babe!” She said cheerfully.
