👰 21 Days Bride EPISODE THIRTY SIX: 💞

💃 Bryan’s POV:💃

I walked into the hospital ward where Arianna was lying.

To my greatest surprise,,,,,,,, I saw someone standing beside her holding her hand.

“Who are you?” I asked with my eyebrows furrowed.

The person quickly let go of her hands in fear…..

It was a man and his dressing is like that of a cleaner.

“What are you doing in my wife’s ward and why are you holding her hands?” I asked with a sting of jealousy in my voice.

“Uhmm… Sorry sir I just wanted to clean the hospital ward for her and….” He stammered.

The voice sounded a bit familiar but a kind of deeper.

“To clean her ward? Then why are you holding her hands instead of cleaning?” I asked in annoyance.

What type of cleaner does that?

Holding and starring into patient’s eyes instead of cleaning and mobbing the patient’s room?

“Actually Sir… I…. I…. I… Wanted to clean but then I felt her bed was…was a kinda dusty and….” He stuttered.

“Shut up….. Come here,,, I will have to report you to the hospital authorities cos you are obviously not doing your job… ” I said as I quickly rushed to grab his arm but my cell phone rang aloud.

I quickly stopped as I picked up my cell phone.

It was from Jim so I had to take the call as the cleaner left hurriedly with the mopping stick and bucket.

I walked closer to Arianna as I patted her long hair.

“How is she doing?” Jim asked as tears pricked my eyes.

“She’s… She’s just here Jim” I said hopelessly as I kissed her fist.

“You have to really calm down Bryan” Jim said

“Am trying Jim….. Am trying so hard to calm down but I just can’t” I burst into tears.

“Listen man you don’t have to worry about anything OK” He said.

“I shouldn’t worry? Like for real? I shouldn’t worry while my dear Arianna is almost half dead on a hospital bed for almost three weeks now and you expect me to pretend like nothing happened? Is that even possible cos I don’t see the possibility of that which you are asking of me” I blurted out.

“I want you to keep something important in mind…. Which is that your Arianna will survive this ordeal no matter the outcome” He said as I wiped off my tears.

I exhaled deeply as I shook my head.

“I pray and hope so” I replied as I sat on the chair beside Arianna.

I hung the phone up and placed my head on the bed holding Arianna’s hand.

Still in thoughts but I fell asleep right beside her.

**** #DREAMS *******

I climbed the hill panting heavily.

I sighted Arianna climbing up and up and not looking back.

She was wearing a very long flair gown.

“Arianna! Arianna please wait for me,,, where are you going to?” I cried out still struggling to reach her.

“Go back Bryan… Please just go back now” She said not even looking at me.

“I can’t… I can’t leave you alone in such a dessert and dangerous place…. That’s impossible” I said as she backed me and shook her head.

“Am sorry but I advise you to go back cos coming here is of no use” She said as we got to the top of the hill.

She quickly started running and I ran after her.

She almost fell off the hill to land in a big ocean.

But then I caught her gown and held her tight.

And that prevented her from falling off.

“ARIANNA!!” I screamed crazily as I quickly sprang up from the bed edge.

Beads of sweat ran down my face.

I quickly gripped Arianna’s hand and kissed it.

What sort of dream is this???

Oh God!

I just hope nothing bad happens to my wife….

I panted heavily as I peered into her face.

I wonder when she’s going to finally wake up…

Please wake up already so that I can confess my feelings to you cos am tired of hiding my feelings.

I can’t wait to tell you every single way I feel about you!

   🌺 Marvin's POV:🌺

I hoped into my car as I took off the nose mask panting heavily.

I rolled up the car louvers….

Oh Gosh!

That was so close!

He almost caught me….

Thank goodness his cell phone rang at the right time!

Else I might be a dead might by now.

I ran my fingers through my hair as I blinked hard.

She looked so lifeless lying on that stupid bed.

That arrogant jerk should be the one on the bed instead of her.

He should be the one on the dying bed and not her.

He is supposed to be at the morgue not asking me what I was doing in the ward.

Actually I already returned the cleaner’s uniform.

I heaved a sigh of relief as I ignited the car engine.

I drove out of the hospital still lost in thought.

     🌺 Mrs Bernardo's POV:🌺

Laila and Bibi held my finger tightly as we walked into the hospital ward.

We rushed into the ward.

That has become our daily routine.

Dearest God!

Please wake my daughter up already….

it’s almost one month since she’s been lying on that bed lifelessly.

We saw Bryan sitting beside her as usual.

Sometimes I feel very sorry for him.

He sleeps in the hospital all the time,,, that’s how much he loves Arianna.

I could see that in his eyes.

“Poor guy!” I muttered under my breath.

“Mo…ther” we heard a very weak voice and turned around.

It was ARIANNA…..
