Xavier laughed immediately Kayla landed her head on the floor. “Are you satisfied now that I let go of you?” He asked still laughing.

Kayla stood up from the ground and glared at Xavier. “Do you want to kill me!”

“Even I hate you so much, killing you will be a waste of my time. Despite how annoying you were, I tried to help you but you insisted I let go of you, so I had to do as you have said” Xavier said.

I think I should just register my industry’s name for the show” Jane said trying to take her phone from her bag, but Lucas held her hand.

“I didn’t know you were that hungry” Jane said with a smile as she watch Lucas eat his food.

“I didn’t know I was this hungry till I taste their food. It’s so yummy” Lucas said making a funny face and Jane laughed.

“Then put him in his place Jane. Stop smiling at him, and give him a cold shoulder” Lucas said.

“Even if he’s annoying sometimes, he brings good clients to me from time to time, I can’t give him a cold shoulder just yet”

“If he misbehaves around you just give me a call, so I’d dig out his eyes” Lucas said and Jane laughed.

“Fine I will” Jane said and continues eating. Lucas looked at her and smiled.

Beatrice yawns tirelessly as she claimed the staircase that leads to her house. She opened the door, and entered the house, but it was dark.

“What’s going on? Why is it so dark in here. Xavier! Xiaomi!” She called out their names, as she searched for the switch. She turned on the light, and both Xavier and Xiaomi jumped out from where they were hiding.

“Happy birthday mom!” Both said at the same time, they were holding a cake. Beatrice looked at her twins and smile.

“You shouldn’t have surprised me this way kids, I was kind of scared when I entered the house and saw it was occupied with darkness” She said smiling.

“Sorry for scaring you mom. It was the only idea we could come up with to surprise you” Xiaomi said.

“A birthday isn’t complete without a birthday song. Xiaomi dropped the bit” Xavier said, and Xiaomi began to make rhymes with her mouth.

“You both should stop. I feel like crying right now” Beatrice said sniffling. Xavier and Xiaomi smiled before hugging their mom.

“I got a present for you, mom” Xavier said some minutes later when they broke the hug.

“Where did you get the money to buy this pairs of shoes?” Beatrice asked.

“I thought you said they willingly gave you the money?” Beatrice asked, and the smile on Xavier’s face disappeared.

“He did that?”

Debra kissed Adrian when he entered the house. “Welcome back, sweetheart” She said smiling.

“What’s the exciting mood for?” Adrian asked.

“Why? Can’t I be happy anymore? I’m married to a handsome man” She said hugging him tightly, and Adrian broke the hug.

“What do you want?” He asked.

“Nothing. I just want to apologize for overeating last night. You’re right, we should go to Los Angeles”

“Yeah. You want to go to Los Angeles, right? Let’s go there Adrian. We can leave tomorrow if you want to”

“What made you change your mind?” He asked.

Adrian came out from the bathroom, after he was done bathing. He was about drying his sticky hair when he got a call from someone. He dropped the hand dryer on the table and went to answer the call.

“Hello Mr. Adrian. Your mansion in Los Angeles is ready, are you still coming over to Los Angeles?” The man asked.

“Yes we are coming over. Debra already agreed to it” Adrian said, and ended the call.

Isa sat on the bed with a smile on her face as she writes on her diary.

She was about entering the museum, and at the same time looking at her phone, when someone push the glass door open from inside, and the knob of the door hits her face.

“Ouch!!!” She screamed, falling to the ground, and he quickly rushed to her.

“Ma’am, are you alright. Sorry I didn’t see you” He said, with his hand on her shoulder.

“It’s fine, I am… ” Jane’s words hanged in her mouth when she raised her head and saw the face of the person squatting beside her.
